We decided to make the decision to move him into a care home, which turns out was the best thing we did. My mother came to The Burlington during lockdown following a hospital stay. The transfer was very well managed and as soon as she arrived I was able to see her via video call. Since being there Mum has been shown nothing but kindness and seems more calm and contented despite her dementia. It is difficult having limited visiting due to the situation we are all in at the moment, but when I do see her I always feel reassured that she is being very well looked after and can’t thank the care team and staff enough.

My father has really settled in now and has built relationships with other residents and carers. The overall care is very good and we know that the team have been working very hard during lockdown to maintain the residents' spirits and keep them engaged in various ways. There is no doubt in our minds that this is the very best place for my father. Thank you to each and every person who looks after him on a daily basis ensuring that his safety, well being, and happiness are maintained. This has been a very difficult time for everyone and not being able to see my father has been hard, but we know the risks the team have taken to be there every day. We will be forever grateful. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

From the moment we entered The Burlington we felt nothing but caring support and warmth of friendship all given in a professional manner. Their aim to make the residents stay to be "home from home" they have achieved 100%. My husbands physical, emotional and overall needs be a time of respite and rehabilitation were met by every member of staff who were most attentive and extremely helpful carrying out their respective duties in a cheerful and caring manner. We feel blessed and privileged to have experienced such a marvellous care home.
