My family and myself cannot speak highly enough of Candlewood House. The atmosphere throughout is so warm and friendly, and the care from all the staff excellent. The food is excellent, with well planned and nutritious ingredients, and beautifully served. I would also like to add how spotlessly clean. Thank you Candlewood for looking after our husband and father so well.

We didn't know that care homes like Candlewood existed! The staff are warm, diligent and charming towards my mother, who has a fracture. The building and interiors are very well maintained and well designed - apparently it was completely refurbished in 2021 - and my mother's visitors have all commented on how it ressembles a designer country hotel. We've been happy with the different activities that are put on, and my mother has surprisingly joined in with most of them! Candlewood have made it easy for her to feel safe, she is so well looked after; and as an ex healthcare professional, she is not easy to impress!
Thank you for taking time to post a wonderful review, we are pleased to hear mum feel's safe, is being well care for and enjoying the activities at Candlewood.
The staff are very kind & considerate & take care of all the residents. The manager is very very kind & listens to all we say.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm happy to know that you feel cared for and listened to, that means everything to us!
Candlewood House is the best care home I have ever visited and I have been to quite a few with two parents living in care homes for years. I know my 94 year old mother is safe and secure, well fed, well looked after and making friends. She is better in herself today than she has been for years. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review and for your kind and thoughtful words. It is important for the team to know that you feel your mother is safe, happy, and thriving with us. She is a pleasure to care for !
I cannot praise Candlewood's carers highly enough. I was so happy and relieved to see my dear friend residing in a home with such caring and dedicated staff. There was a feeling of warmth and care each time I visited. On top of that, Candlewood Home is recently built, nicely furnished and sparkling clean. I hope the company value their caring staff because they really are their best asset!

Overwhelmingly welcoming & friendly staff! They took the time to make a personal introduction and provided useful information about my grandma. The facilities were clean throughout & visitors were catered for. My grand-mother only has positive views of the facilities & staff.

My father settled into life at Candlewood House immediately. He receives excellent, friendly care, and he has a lovely circle of friends amongst his fellow residents. The room are bright, cheerful, welcoming and homely, and the programme of entertainment offers something of interest for all. Moving my father to Candlewood really was the best decision, and he hasn't looked back. He is safe, happy and cared for to a very high level, and it is a wonderful place to visit him.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear that your father settled in quickly and is enjoying life at Candlewood House!
I found my 3-week respite at Candlewood a very pleasant transition between hospital and home. It is indeed a tonic to be greeted by so many smiling and friendly faces throughout, and a warm welcome is generously displayed to all outside visitors. Thank you to all, from management to junior employees at Candlewood House.
