After an initial respite stay, my mother has transitioned to a permanent resident. Since her arrival in February 2022, I and my mother have found the staff to be very friendly, attentive and helpful, responding to her needs and requests promptly. The quantity and quality of the food has been outstanding and a real high point for her. On my visits to the home, I have found all levels of staff to be very accommodating and helpful. Overall, staff interactions have been more familial than institutional.
Thank you for taking the time to review Droitwich Mews Care Home in Droitwich and for your amazing 5-star rating. We are delighted to hear that your mother decided to make her stay with us a permanent one and is enjoying the choice of tasty meals provided on a daily basis by our talented culinary...
I have visited my friend several times during the two-week respite care. I found the whole experience wonderful. The staff are all friendly and helpful, nothing being too much trouble. The room was impeccably clean and my friend was thoroughly enjoying his time there. He looked relaxed and happy. Thank you Droitwich Mews Care Home!

The care facility presents as a five-star hotel. Lovely! The amenities are impressive but what makes any establishment a true diamond is the staff. You have thus found some absolute gems! Small criticism - wonder why no one thought it prudent to initially install taller toilets - which would alleviate the need for awful add ons. Mum is currently in respite but if more permanent would like a dressing table to do her hair and makeup.

It's not an easy decision when placing your loved one into care. It has been easier knowing they can have their own belongings around them and the room looks like home. The staff have shown much care for my father-in-law. It has been an extremely difficult time and it has been made easier knowing he is so looked after.

The staff at the Mews made Mum feel very welcome and looked after her needs.
We hadn’t been able to see Mum for several weeks due to the Covid restrictions, because my father was in hospital and had to be in isolation.
We informed the Mews that it was my father's birthday in February and would like to share a little bit of a celebration with my mother as neither my father nor I had seen her.
The Mews went out of their way to decorate a room put some glasses and some plates in so we could bring some cakes and some wine for the family and my mum to share it was wonderful to see her.
She looked so good and healthy, I can’t recommend the Mews and their staff enough.
I know Mum is in safe, friendly hands.
Thank you very much.

I would like to express my huge thanks to all the staff at Droitwich Mews. It was a worrying time Dad coming out of the hospital and going to Droitwich Mews, initially for respite. The staff and home are excellent, the staff are friendly and welcoming and Dad is being well looked after. I am very pleased that there are protocols in place regarding visiting that help keep my dad, residents and staff safe. Again thank you to everyone at Droitwich Mews.

From my initial visit, I could see that Droitwich Mews was going to be the perfect place for my mother to be. The staff and ambience of the place is absolutely first class. My mom has been at Droitwich Mews for six weeks now and she is very happy and being looked after fantastically which is all I could have wished for. Thank you to everyone involved at Droitwich Mews.

My mother spent one week in Droitwich as respite care - with a view to being a permanent resident. Unfortunately, she passed away whilst there but we were so grateful for the care, attention and empathy shown by every member of staff. The accommodation is perfect and the bedrooms are very calm and peaceful. We cannot fault any part of our experience from our initial enquiry right through to the sad day Mother left Droitwich Mews.
Thank you for taking the time to review Droitwich Mews Care Home. We are all really touched by your kind words, our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. Although we only knew Mum and the family for a short period of time, it was a real honour to be part of such a personal time for you all. Best wishes, Pam.
Mum was a resident for a short time before her passing. The whole team of staff were so supportive and understanding of Mum's situation and family wishes. The treatment we all received before, during and after Mum's death was amazing and couldn't have gone more smoothly. Many thanks.
Thank you for taking the time to review Droitwich Mews Care Home and for your kind words. It was a true pleasure to care for your mum and to support the family at this extremely difficult time. Best wishes, Pam.

After initially suffering poor care in hospital, Mom moved into Droitwich Mews and started to recover very quickly. The difference in her health and wellbeing has dramatically changed for the better. Especially her appetite, appearance, happiness and her mental ability has improved with the engagement of all the brilliant staff at Droitwich Mews.

My mother-in-law came here from the hospital, it is unbelievable the transformation in her and she has only been here a short time. She looks ten years younger. The dedication of all staff have is second to none, they always talk to you and ask if Mom is happy and very caring. Activities are on every day, always something going on - great to see on Facebook. It's like a hotel, not a home. Fab!

My grandad was apprehensive about leaving home and moving into Mews and the change in his surroundings and routine was initially difficult. However, the staff at the Mews did an excellent job in making my grandad feel welcome in his new home. The staff are always kind and ready to help, as well as being receptive to the advice of previous carers to help residents through the transition period.
Thank you for taking the time to review Droitwich Mews Care Home. My father has settled happily into a beautifully maintained care home. The staff are excellent and have looked after Dad in a very difficult time in his life. The staff listen to our concerns and are incredibly friendly and supportive. Thank you!

Our housekeeping team take great pride in making the home a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to...
Droitwich Mews is a lovely new residential home but I feel they still have a few issues with the ratio of staff to residents. I can't fault the care my mum gets and the staff are lovely but she often has to wait longer than she should for attention after pressing her buzzer. Her room is very nice and they have made sure Mum has what she needs to keep her safe and comfortable so overall I'm happy but just wish there were more staff.

Meet the Team (8)

I began my journey in the care sector within domiciliary care, where I quickly progressed to a senior role. From there, I moved into care homes, advancing from Senior Care Assistant to Care Manager, Deputy Manager, and ultimately to Care Home Manager. In my previous role, I was proud to lead my team in achieving a "Good" rating from the CQC.
Since September 2024, I have had the privilege of managing Droitwich Mews. Every day in this role has been deeply fulfilling, thanks to the incredible residents, dedicated staff, supportive families, and enthusiastic volunteers who make this home so special. I was welcomed into the Droitwich Mews family with open arms, and I am committed to maintaining and building upon the high standards of excellence that define our home.
I firmly believe that laughter and happiness are vital to the well-being of everyone in the home. At Droitwich Mews, these qualities shine in abundance, creating a warm and joyful environment for all.

Ellie is our Deputy Manager at Droitiwch Mews and has built her career through dedication and hands-on experience across the care sector. She began in domiciliary care, where she spent three years supporting people in their own homes, before gaining a further three years of valuable experience working alongside the NHS. Ellie went on to complete her Nursing Associate degree in Adult Nursing, qualifying in 2025. That same year, she joined Droitiwch Mews as a Unit Manager and, through her commitment and leadership, quickly progressed to Deputy Manager in 2026. Ellie loves every aspect of her role and particularly enjoys the variety that each day brings. She cares deeply about our residents and consistently brings professionalism, compassion, and a strong commitment to delivering the highest standards of care, which truly shines through in everything she does.

I have worked within the care industry for 15 years, starting as a Care Assistant, and then having the incredible opportunity to work for Alzheimer's Society as an Events and Customer Service Coordinator. I then became a lead Well Being Coordinator, where I found my passion for marketing/social media influence, which encouraged me to move into the sales and marketing side of the care industry as The Client Liasion Manager here at Droitwich Mews. I really enjoy every aspect of my role, giving our residents the best customer service is a real highlight for me, also hosting events within the home and bringing together the community is always so much fun! I feel very lucky to be part of the team here at Droitwich Mews, we really are one big family!

Meet Linda – Our Amazing Admin Manager
With over 30 years of experience in administration and more than 15 years in the care industry, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and efficiency to everything she does. She’s not only a master of organisation but also a vital part of our team’s heart and soul. Linda thrives in our dynamic environment and builds strong, supportive relationships with both staff and residents. Her dedication, warmth, and incredible skills truly make her the wizard behind the scenes — and we’re endlessly grateful to have her as part of our family.

Meet James – Our Dedicated Head Chef
With over 24 years of culinary experience, including 4 years in care home catering, James brings exceptional skill and heartfelt passion to our kitchen. He began his journey with us as a sous chef and quickly rose to Head Chef, where he’s been leading our kitchen for over a year with creativity and care.
James is deeply committed to delighting our residents, always going the extra mile to ensure every meal is not only nutritious but also thoroughly enjoyed. He tailors each menu to reflect the tastes, needs, and preferences of our residents, regularly seeking their feedback and involving them in the menu planning process. His dedication, warmth, and talent make him truly the best – and we feel incredibly lucky to have him at the heart of our home.

Martin has been working within the maintenance department of 4 different care homes for the past 15 years. Starting with Avery in 2021, Martin brings the knowledge and skills that he has learned within the building trade since the age of 17. Martin is very well-liked by our residents here at Droitwich Mews and is a complete asset to the team. Martin specialises in plumbing and heating which he thoroughly enjoys.

I began my journey by first caring for my parents, particularly my mother, at the end of my life. The nurse who visited said I was made for the job! I then started cleaning for a few old ladies, which morphed into shopping & personal care and companionship. I tried domiciliary care, but never felt I had enough time to do a good job. COVID came along, and my career path changed! I became a Community Champion for a well-known supermarket. It was because of this that I heard about Droitwich Mews. I offered to support the home with raffle prizes, etc. The Customer Service manager at the time asked if I would like to join the team! I started at Droitwich Mews on the care team, and then I was offered the position of customer service assistant. I am happy to say I love it! I get to support residents and chat with them and their relatives. It’s a lovely home, and I am proud to be a part of it.

Meet Franca – Our Exceptional Senior Carer
Franca joined Droitwich Mews in 2022, bringing with her over 10 years of experience in the care sector. Since then, she’s become a vital part of our team and was proudly promoted to Senior Carer in 2024 – a reflection of her outstanding dedication and compassion.
Franca’s smile lights up every room she walks into, and her warmth is felt by both residents and their families. She consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty, always striving to enhance the quality of life for those in her care. With genuine love and thoughtfulness, Franca supports not only our residents but their families too, ensuring everyone feels safe, supported, and valued. We are truly lucky to have her.
