Staff lovely and always upbeat and respond quickly to any issues raised. Always offered a drink and something on my visits. I can visit when I want. Management is great, visible and always available. They look after staff team.

My mum has had continuous quality care . Her move from downstairs to nursing care was handled sensitively. The timing for her increased needs very well managed.

Darren is an outstanding manger and I have appreciated the partnership with him and all staff for mum's end of life care .

My Husband arrived at Wilmslow Manor, with a leg amputation, following an unsuccessful operation. His needs were & still are very complex & initially we were both suffering from shock. He had been diagnosed with post amputation delirium & this made it very difficult for the nursing & care staff looking after him. To date his care has been exemplary. I too, have been shown kindness & compassion & this extends to the staff on reception also, whose warm welcome & genuine interest, make, what can sometimes be difficult visits to my Husband bearable. I can't thank them enough. The meals he is served are first class & his room is kept spotless by pleasant & again helpful staff. I highly recommend.

As a resident & also wife of a resident I have experienced the Wilmslow Manor Care Home in many ways! Furthermore, as a retired State Registered Nurse I have very strong views of Nursing Care. Sadly lacking in hospital. I am hugely impressed with all the care given. The kindness, care & empathy shown to all is exemplary. I cannot fault them, All the various staff work as teams, all excellent.

When my Mum was widowed earlier this year, we looked at a number of care homes in the area but were unhappy with a number of elements in each of these care homes. We were then recommended Wilmslow Manor by a friend who has a relative resident there. In the 8 weeks or so that my Mum has been resident, we have only seen fantastic support and kindness. The rooms are fantastic, the staff are both brilliant and professional and we are very confident that her needs will be met whatever her condition as the years go by. It has taken a huge weight from my shoulders, knowing that my Mum is being well looked after.

Wilmslow Manor is a good quality carehome with excellent and caring staff set in a well presented environment. The staff settled my Mum in very quickly with their friendly manner and she is included in all activities, which she enjoys. Darren (Home Manager) in particular is always available to help with any queries I or my wife have about my Mum's care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Wilmslow Manor and have already done so on a number of occasions.

Wilmslow Manor have looked after both my parents, and our relationship started soon after the Care Centre opened and has continued ever since. The real differentiators for me are the emphasis on making the whole family part of the experience as well as every level of staff being engaged, caring and dedicated; backed by a Management who have have an open door policy. My mother entered Wilmslow Manor without notice for respite care the day after my father was unexpectedly admitted to hospital. At a time of great need for my mother and our family, the home delivered great support and flexibility irrespective of the bank holiday weekend. Since then my mother has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and all the staff at the home have been hugely supportive and knowledgeable, playing a great part in my mothers care and transition managing her symptoms. This has been an invaluable comfort to us all knowing my mother is in good and caring hands.

Mum has been a resident at Wilmslow Manor for 3 weeks. She moved from another care home that couldn't meet her needs. She is a resident on the dementia floor. This transition could have been difficult for mum and my brother and myself were initially worried she may not settle. This has not been the case thanks to the amazing staff and carers who have supported her and our family. Mum is coeliac and her dietary requirements have been fully supported. She is happy, less anxious and we would highly recommend Wilmslow Manor.

My Mum and Dad became residents of Wilmslow Manor in April 2024 when Mum's Vascular dementia became too much for Dad to manage at home. When Mum died in May 2024 Dad remained as a resident. This was a very difficult time for him after 73 years with Mum and his grief at times was very difficult for him to cope with. The staff gave Dad the time, care and love he needed.

In October Dad's health declined and he became less mobile spending more time in bed and requiring more care from the staff. I stayed with Dad the last week of October until his very peaceful death. The quality of the care and attention he received from staff cannot be questioned. The dignity given to him was outstanding. The love and care that I and my family received was incredible. I cannot thank the staff enough for making his last days so comfortable and peaceful and for continuing to care for him as the gentleman he was. I know he made an impact on the staff just as they did on our family. Thank you.

We are really pleased with the continual great service my brother gets at Wilmslow Manor. The quality and care has always been very good, but it has reached a new level for us. My brother has been at Wilmslow Manor since is opened, he is extremely happy there, loves the company, the attention from the staff and the warm environment created for residents and members of their family. We were always concerned how he would find being in a care home, but for him it is his home and he often says how happy he is there. It's such a relief & blessing for all our family. My mum was a resident for just over 2years ,initially on the dementia floor and then on the nursing floor where she passed away.
The dementia floor were absolutely fantastic ,mum was furious when we had to move here into care but the staff went above and beyond to reassure her and settle her in whilst helping us to navigate the sad situation in the background. She did seem to enjoy the various trips the home arranged even though she would deny having been on them !.The photographic evidence showed otherwise .
After having to move to the nursing floor after a serious stroke ,again the care was exemplary. Between the damage the stroke had done and the dementia she wasn't an easy person but the staff still went above and beyond for her.To see the staff during her final days and after she passed was heartwarming and will be long remembered .

Thank you to all at Wilmslow manor from the extended family.

I have immense gratitude to all the staff and management at Wilmslow Manor for the excellent care that my Mum received during her (almost) 2 year stay mostly as a resident on the ground floor with her final month being on the nursing floor on end of life care. It was wonderful to see how the staff treated my Mum as if she was their own family member and treating her with dignity and so much care and compassion whilst being able to make my Mum smile and laugh. The staff have also been so kind ,caring and supportive of myself and my sisters. Whilst the home itself is beautiful it is the staff who really make this home stand out from the rest.

My Dad has been in the care home for two and a half years. He has dementia and now intensive nursing requirements. My whole family are so impressed with the caring attitude shown by the staff - not just the carers but also all the other staff such as the catering, housekeeping and entertainment teams. Wilmslow Manor is one happy, well run care home!
As our Dad's condition has progressed, his disabilities and needs have been continuously monitored and recorded and the appropriate action taken in consultation with the family. For example, we were encouraged to move him from the Dementia floor to the Nursing floor where he is now better able to interact with people in the communal areas which has been a great success.

I encourage anyone thinking about residential care for a a loved one to visit Wilmslow Manor and talk to he team.
