We cannot speak more highly of the care and attention our mum receives. She is so happy and loves the daily activities. Berkeley House Care Home is absolutely spotless and the staff are amazing. My brother and sister both live away so find the social media page very informative and feel connected. It keeps them in touch with the activities that Mum and the other residents do-keep up the good work!
Thank you for your kind words. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after in our home. We hope to continue providing your mum with the best possible care.
They carry out great activities with the residents of the home to make sure they are entertained as much as possible. Well done to all involved.

Food is excellent and the home is always clean.
Thank you for your feedback. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your loved one's stay as comfortable as possible.
My mother has been a resident at Berkeley House for 2 years. Her care has been exemplary and has given me complete peace of mind. I cannot express how much I appreciate the kindness and care given by the staff. Both to my mother but also to myself and my late father. He passed recently safe in the knowledge that his wife could not have been in a better place than Berkeley House.
Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your mother in our care, especially for your late father, who we send our deepest condolences in regards to his passing. We hope to continue providing your loved one with the best possible care and we are looking forward to see you again soon.
Staff friendly and helpful.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that you enjoyed your visit and found our staff to be friendly and helpful. Thank you for your review.
Very satisfied with the way my wife has been accepted on the Queen's ward. She's struggling making friends with residents, but it's early days yet. We use the small tv room a lot but find if two families are in at the same time and the small sofa requires some attention i.e. cushions missing. We have also experienced many clothes go missing, but overall, very satisfied with the house, staff and management.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is nice to hear that you are happy with the care your wife receives. I will certainly pass your comments regarding the sofa on to the housekeeping team and we will also see what we can do to help your wife make some new friends. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
My brother has been in Berkeley House for two months, and in that time, he has got the sparkle back in his eyes and loves all the activities and interaction. Staff are very friendly, caring and professional. Room and corridors are spotless. My first impression was this looks and feels like a hotel.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is wonderful to hear that your brother has settled in well at our home and got his sparkle back in his eyes. It is always nice to hear words such as ''Caring'' and ''Friendly'' to describe our staff. Thank you for choosing Berkeley House for your brother's stay.
It is impossible to find any fault with the home. From day one, my mum has felt integrated into things and done stimulating and enjoyable activities. The photos on Facebook have been very helpful to us, seeing her clearly enjoying herself. The staff have been so helpful, in so many ways. They are all so committed to the elderly residents in their care. Thank you to all.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that your mum has felt involved in our home and that you feel our staff have been so helpful. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your mum's stay as comfortable as possible.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. Nice to see some of them in lovely dresses - must cheer up the residents. Berkeley looked very clean, well-kept, and seemed well-run (in my short visit).
His t-shirt was extremely dirty, but maybe he'd declined to have a fresh one. Overall, a very good impression of Berkeley.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that you find our staff friendly and helpful and that your first impression of our home is a good one. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your loved ones stay as comfortable as possible.
The care and attention my 100-year-old dad received whilst at Berkeley House was of the highest standard. He felt safe and well looked after, and all the staff were cheery and friendly in what was a very busy environment. Thank you all - I would not hesitate in recommending this care home.

Mum has only been in Berkeley for a short time but has settled in well and appears to be quite happy.
I have always been happy with the staff and service provided.

I have never had any experience of a care home before my parent was taken to Berkeley House for respite. We could not visit for quite a while because of Covid. When I did visit I got a very pleasant surprise. All the staff were very happy and so willing to help in any way. Nothing has been any trouble for anyone. Thank you so much for everyone's help over the last few months. I will be eternally grateful for making my parent feel actually at home.

The home is welcoming, very well laid out and looks very homely. My dad is encouraged to join in activities as he found it hard to settle at first. They help him feel safe and meet his care needs. I know we made the right choice 100%.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad that you feel comforted knowing your Dad is safe and well looked after by everyone at Berkley House.

My mum is now a permanent resident at Berkeley Care Home after being there for respite care earlier in the year. I was so relieved that because she now requires permanent care, Berkley House came up as one of the alternatives. Wonderful caring staff provide the best care you could hope for in a clean friendly and pleasant environment. All you could wish for, for your elderly relative.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is always nice to hear from family members feeling like their loved one is cared for and looked after. Thank you for choosing Berkeley House for your Mums stay.
A lovely care home and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's nice to see my dad smiling again and that is all due to the care home and the amazing care they give. They always keep me informed of his progress and changes and I am so glad we have found such a lovely place for my dad to stay.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your wonderful feedback. We really appreciate your lovely comments. We are so pleased that you're happy with the care your Dad is receiving. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you and your family.
I cannot speak too highly for my husband's care he always seemed happy which is what I always wanted for him. They really seemed to care for him and put themselves out for him, they also said he was no trouble that was his nature. I loved him very much and was so happy with his care. I would recommend Berkeley House to anyone. I have told my family if I end up in a home that is where I want to go. I have always been satisfied with my husband's care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this lovely review. We are so pleased you were happy with the care we provided for your dear Husband. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you and your family.
Mum has lived at Berkeley for just over a year. It's a great worry making a decision like this about a family member. It's important. I have to say, the staff at Berkeley made the change from Mum living at home on her own, to being amongst, initially strangers, a relatively easy process. Whatever happens, we are always kept informed and I never feel a nuisance asking questions. The staff are lovely and truly care about the residents, with all their little foibles. I feel Mum is happy and safe and really appreciate all the staff have done for us all.
Thank you for trusting us with your mothers care. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave us such lovely comments.

I am local to Berkeley House, just a five-minute walk away. I have a husband, two daughters and four grandchildren. My hobbies are going on holiday, seeing my friends and I am passionate about my eyelashes! I like music, dancing and being happy. My motto is “If you’re happy, I’m happy”.

My career with Bupa began at the beginning of 2021, and I work in the maintenance department. I have nine years’ experience working in the facilities maintenance sector, five years of this was working at one of the top performing academies in the UK. I am now bringing my multi-trade skills to the care home sector to expand my knowledge, as well as supporting the residents as much as I can. I enjoy my role because every day is different. There are always new challenges and rewards, along with plenty of laughs and smiles. My main hobbies are spending time with my family and going abroad with my partner.
