A very pleasant experience visiting mum.
Staff are very helpful and kind.
The BBQ event was very nice. We outside with mum and listened to the music, whilst eating burgers. Thank you very much.

My mother has been here since June this year, the team have been amazing with her despite her sometimes challenging behaviour, they have made her feel safe and at home. They have gone above and beyond with her ensuring they keep her occupied and busy. Our father, also a resident at the home, recently
passed away all of the staff have been amazing, supporting Mum and us as a family. Mum could not be in a better place with such lovely, caring staff.

Mum is very happy at Autumn Vale and is responding well to the staff who are helpful, kind and attentive, particularly when feeding on a one to one basis. Mum is encouraged to move and is engaged by the conversation and activities going on around her. Meals are plentiful and nutritious. As a family,

My mum passed away on 4th June 2025 aged 100. She had been resident at Autumn Vale since arriving from hospital at the end of the covid outbreak shortly after her 97th birthday. In her 3 and 1/2 years as resident here she had always been full of praise for the care Autumn Vale provided. Praise for the
kindness and helpfulness of the nursing staff and especially for the support provided by her key workers. I beleive every endeavour was made to provide her with as much comfort as possible throughout her stay. Bedridden, but never left out. Autumn Vale provides a host of extra's like live entertainment, outings and workshops for residents. They have hairdressing facilities and arrange for personal care like chiropody. The nursing staff keep detailed records of the residents health, they know the residents well and keep family up to date. The administration is well run. Infact the home so well run I would like to recommend it, it is a first class care home.

Since my brother came to Autumn Vale Nursing Home in very poor health, after a very bad fall at home, the care staff have been very kins and caring towards my brother. A infection in his leg was very quickly referred to the doctor ad at home hospital team, in which my brother was admitted to hospital
again, but since returning to the home, he has made a very good recovery, in which we are amazed with. A special thank you to the manager and her team for caring for my brother.

This has been the best visit by far. My sister joined in the quiz and I enjoyed interacting. She was lovely with my husband and I decided to stay for lunch with this new group of residents, she even said "it would be nice to have a glass if wine)

When visiting the home we always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. My brother in law seems very happy and well looked after.
Recently it was his 70th birthday, the staff went above and beyond to make his day special, providing sandwiches, cake for us all. We were all very satisfied.

Everyone is kind, considerate and attends to Mum's needs in everyday even when she is being very difficult and sometimes angry, they support her in a way that shows humility and respect and the greatest level of care.
The team are amazing and they look after Mum in such a caring way and I have never
ever been concerned as I always see kindness. I am always kept informed of Mum's ups and downs and any concerns, and I am so happy that Mum is happy and we are very thankful for everything they do and so lucky that she is there.

My mother spent her last eight days of her life at Autumn Vale. Staff were kind and caring, both to my mum and to my sister and me. They honoured our wishes that she be given dignity, kindness and a pain free end of life. My sister and I were able to spend everyday with our mum, which was a comfort

Job Title: Care Home Manager Joined: 2010

Starting as a care assistant on a student visa was challenging, but I was fortunate to find a place at Gold Care Homes (GCH) where I could truly follow my passion for caring for the elderly. Over the past 11 years, I’ve been proud to grow within a diverse and supportive community, learning from both residents and staff. I’ve especially enjoyed building meaningful bonds with residents, listening to their inspiring stories, and providing care that respects their wishes and lifestyles.


Since joining GCH in 2010, I’ve progressed from Carer, Senior Carer, Unit Leader, Supervised Practice Nurse, Qualified Nurse, Deputy Manager, and now to Home Manager, supported every step of the way by the company, my colleagues, and my family.
