Autumn Vale Care Centre

The care Provided to my mother Was exemplary. We were never concerned about her safety in the knowledge that she would be looked after properly, with compassion and understanding.

We are well informed about any situations.

My mother was a resident here until she passed away in August 2026, my mother was here for 19 months, my mother was well looked after by the lovely and caring staff my mum was on Willow blue unit, the staff were very caring and looked after my mother very well . All the staff are lovely and home and deputy manager and admin staff are very approachable and lovely. I would definitely recommend this care home they are like family

My husband was transferred to Autumn Vale from hospital with 1-1 nursing care. He had Lewy Body Dementia and delirium and his behavior was unpredictable. The staff were amazing with him. The delirium subsided and his behavior improved. He became very settled there, enjoyed the food and built good relationships with the staff who were always positive, encouraging and kind with him. I cannot praise their professionalism highly enough. The entrance to the home was welcoming as were the admin staff; the sitting room was clean and so was his bedroom. The majority of staff had English as their second language which, unfortunately, made communication difficult at times. However, I would recommend Autumn Vale to anyone who was unfortunate enough to need a safe, clean, environment, where they would be well cared for.

I visit my Mum each week. I find the home clean and tidy and all of the staff are friendly, polite and happy to help with anything. My Mum has some dietary needs and the home has been very accommodating and supportive with making sure these are met.

We as a family are very pleased.

The care given by the care staff was always good. Room cleanliness, however, was not always good and overall the home's appearance looked quite tired. My friend found the food's variety limited and the quality variable. What was described as supper was very predicatable and included an odd combination of (always) sandwiches and another item such as a sausage roll or chicken dippers, for instance. Most of the staff did not have English as their first language so it could be hard work communicating sometimes. The outdoor areas were limited and access to them quite difficult from Peach unit. In the last twelve months staffing levels often seemed minimal which impacted on my friend's sense of well-being at times. However, since my friend had no family nor no one particular person to champion her cause, I felt that overall she was well cared for and that the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive; always trying to help.

Mum has settled in here so well . We are so pleased about that. It is such a relief to us that we know she is well taken care of and that her conditions are monitored closely . It's a lovely community - calm , clean and well organised. I can't praise the staff enough - the care and respect given to all of the residents is second to none. There are daily activities and plenty to keep residents engaged with each other and also in their environment . It's such a welcoming place . Thank you so much

Our Mother was only at Autumn Vale for 2 weeks for end of life care. The staff there were absolutely amazing and treated her with the utmost dignity & respect. Through the last few days of her life, the staff also took care of us as a family, and allowed us the opportunity to spend as much time together as possible. We will forever be grateful for their care.

Staff are very polite and helpful, also very informative. Home is very clean. My wife is very happy. My wife made some recovery physically so quick, unbelievable.

Beautiful home, staff very friendly and accommodating.

I cannot praise the care my mother has received enough. She came in for 4 weeks' respite after a broken hip, and from start to finish, the staff from the management down have been fantastic. The care and respect they have shown her made her feel at ease in an environment that was unknown to her. I have not rated activities or value for money due to her only being here for a short visit. All in all, a lovely care home. I would not hesitate to place Mum here full-time if and when needed.

We found Autumn Vale Care Centre to be very friendly, helpfull, all the staff were amazing.

The care the center has provided to my family member has been exceptional. I was very happy and satisfied. The staffs were very helpful and kind. Staffs engage their residents in a very kind and gentle manner.

The care and help for my father-in-law and family to visit are so positive, and nothing is too much trouble to help father-in-law with day-to-day life. An amazing home for your loved ones to be at.

Found staff extremely friendly, helpful and respectful. We have found that the home is always clean and there seems to be always some entertainment on for the residents. If our mother needs any medical attention, this has always been attended to promptly. Our mother seems happy here at Autumn Vale.

Great food. The team that worked were excellent. Couldn't fault any of their work - and are so happy and caring. The nurses were lovely, caring and considerate. Cleanliness is quite good - but should use disinfectant that smells nice.
