My Aunt received very good care from all the staff during her short stay for respite. She gained strength back in her hands and was able to eat unaided using a knife and fork, regained her appetite, and was always dressed in clean clothes with her teeth and hearing aids in.
My aunt partly enjoyed the
singer and joined in tapping her feet and singing along.

Excellent staff, everybody i.e. residents seem extremely happy. Amazing job, everyone keep the good job going, this is the best set-up I have seen. I wish my dad had the chance to come here. The place is clean and today staff are so friendly and kind towards the residents.

The room was lovely and bright, nice and big too.
The food was good, the chef was very accommodating if you needed anything extra i.e. gravy.
The staff are lovey and very caring. I was very happy with the care my Mother received.

The nursing team and all the carers made the last few months of my dad's life extremely comfortable, treating him with the utmost kindness, dignity and respect. My dad was made to feel safe and nothing was too much trouble, going above and beyond to support him. At all times we as a family were kept

The staff in particular are so lovely, genuine, friendly and naturally caring.
The trips out are interesting, fun and very pleasant for the residents.
The food is good and there are regular drinks supplied with biscuits etc.
A lovely home it really is and there are plenty that aren't.

We couldn't have asked for a better place for Nan to spend her final weeks. The team truly cared for Nan and also us. Nothing was too much to ask. They were so welcoming and kind. The level of support they provided Nan as her needs changed, and also the support they gave to us, was second to none. It

I cannot express how amazing Autumn Vale is. The staff went above and beyond caring for her. Nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely coming to see my mum as her daughter rather than her carer. Her last day was so sad, but letting me and my daughter have the time with her till she passed has given
me closure, knowing that the staff had done everything they could. Autumn Vale deserve a medal they are outstanding. Thank you again Autumn Vale.

All staff welcoming, kept informed of anything that was happening with Mum's care. The staff ensured that her dignity was maintained up to and after her death. They were supportive and this was especially helpful when Mum passed. A big thank you.

The whole family loved the place, if it wasn't so far from us all we could visit dad often. We would have very much wanted him looked after in a beautiful place, with wonderful staff, carers couldn't do enough for all the residents. My father actually told me he feel looked after like a king!

Not only is the facility beautifully presented, it is clean and modern. The staff are superb! They are kind, professional and extremely caring. They take time to know the residents and engage with them, playing music and singing songs. It is a fabulous care home.

Prarthana Bhandari

Job Title: Care Home Manager Joined: 2010

Starting as a care assistant on a student visa was challenging, but I was fortunate to find a place at Gold Care Homes (GCH) where I could truly follow my passion for caring for the elderly. Over the past 11 years, I’ve been proud to grow within a diverse and supportive community, learning from both residents and staff. I’ve especially enjoyed building meaningful bonds with residents, listening to their inspiring stories, and providing care that respects their wishes and lifestyles.


Since joining GCH in 2010, I’ve progressed from Carer, Senior Carer, Unit Leader, Supervised Practice Nurse, Qualified Nurse, Deputy Manager, and now to Home Manager, supported every step of the way by the company, my colleagues, and my family.
