When visiting the home we always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. My brother in law seems very happy and well looked after.
Recently it was his 70th birthday, the staff went above and beyond to make his day special, providing sandwiches, cake for us all. We were all very satisfied.

Visited my friend to find the home welcoming and friendly. It was nice to see her happy and taking part in playing skittles in the lounge. The home smelt lovely and was very clean and well decorated.

My dad has been here for nearly a year. He has settled in very well and has a lovely room. He was very poorly when he arrived but he has thrived since being here. I feel like I have my dad back!

My mother spent her last eight days of her life at Autumn Vale. Staff were kind and caring, both to my mum and to my sister and me. They honoured our wishes that she be given dignity, kindness and a pain free end of life. My sister and I were able to spend everyday with our mum, which was a comfort

I went to visit my friend's dad at Autumn Vale. I found the home very clean and welcoming. Staffs are kind and caring. Everyone looks happy. Very nice home where not only residents but the families are also well cared for.

Our mum was a resident for only 8 days but during that time my sister and I were extremely happy with her care. All staff were very kind, caring and supportive, not only to our very poorly mum, but to us as well. We cannot thank you enough.

Although my mother spent a short time in palliative care (9 days in total) at Autumn Vale we were very happy with the care she received. All the staff were very kind, caring and positive towards her and us. They have us clear information about her treatment, and were very helpful to us during this difficult

Dad spent his last 6 weeks at Autumn Vale and we couldn't have been happier with the care he received there. He had a lovely room the staff were all very good to him and he enjoyed the great food! As for the family, we had peace of mind that he was being very well looked after 24 hours a day. I would

The team at Autumn Vale are very kind and caring and so very welcoming, to both residents and family. Due to a family member requiring end of life care we were seeking urgent help in securing a comfortable home that could care for him in a nice setting and able to offer a high level of care. The manager
and her team have been so very kind to us all and have helped us every step of the way from day one. The home is situated in lovely surroundings and is immaculate offering a lovely choice of foods and activities for residents it is CARE home, highly recommend.

My grandmother has lived at Autumn Vale Care Centre for the last few months. She is very settled and happy. She feels that she is cared for and loved. The staff are very informative and approachable. The staff welcome us very well when we visit.

This care home cares. The nursing team and all the carers were so lovely and so respectful. They made my dad feel so comfortable and treated him with kindness and respect. They always updated me on how he was and what he had eaten. I honestly can't thank you enough.

Our parents spent their last few weeks at Autumn Vale care home. Although it was a sad time for the family, all the staff made us feel at home and we were always confident that Mum and Dad were being well cared for.
The staff were exceptional in their care and attention and went out of their way to
make Mum and Dad feel comfortable. They took the time to chat and get to know them both (and the family) and genuinely showed great interest in them.

As a family, we were pleased with the care that Mum received, although during the Covid times things were understandably very difficult. We always felt Mum was safe and secure at Autumn Vale and the staff often went the extra mile on special occasions. We were always kept informed when Mum's health
finally went down at the end of life.

Our family member was bedbound so was unable to experience many of the activities provided at Autumn Vale. She was however kept warm, well fed and all her needs met. She liked the staff, especially her personal needs and we were always made to feel welcome when visiting.

Friendly, attentive care of my bedbound aunt. A happy environment for her with occasional interaction with other care home residents. We were always kept up to date with how she was doing and staff and her primary carer went out of their way to provide enrichment.

Prarthana Bhandari

Job Title: Care Home Manager Joined: 2010

Starting as a care assistant on a student visa was challenging, but I was fortunate to find a place at Gold Care Homes (GCH) where I could truly follow my passion for caring for the elderly. Over the past 11 years, I’ve been proud to grow within a diverse and supportive community, learning from both residents and staff. I’ve especially enjoyed building meaningful bonds with residents, listening to their inspiring stories, and providing care that respects their wishes and lifestyles.


Since joining GCH in 2010, I’ve progressed from Carer, Senior Carer, Unit Leader, Supervised Practice Nurse, Qualified Nurse, Deputy Manager, and now to Home Manager, supported every step of the way by the company, my colleagues, and my family.
