Very relieved that Dad is in a place where we know he is well cared for, safe, well fed and looked after. We cannot fault the super staff and although this is not what we wanted to happen, we are very glad we chose Rivermere. Thank you.

This has been my second visit to Rivermere for respite care after a second total knee replacement.
One week of rest but also trying to use the new knees walking around the home and garden gently is perfect to help to get back to normal.
Care with showering etc and general well being.
Social and organised activities not forgetting the excellent meals. The high spot of the day for all.

Long may it last.

Early days, as my mother only moved into Rivermere at the start of July, but we have been extremely impressed.
Everything from very friendly and attentive staff, to the top quality of the property itself, certainly ticks all the boxes. The food (both broad menu selection and quality) is outstanding.
The rooms are excellent and very well fitted and equipped.
Lovely gardens. This is more like a 4 to 5 star hotel (with care built in) than a care home!

Extremely happy so far!

Nana has now been here for several years. You can tell she is really happy here and feels at home. The staff are friendly and take great care of her. I'm sat here in the sun with Nana looking fabulous, dressed in her finery, it is lovely to see. Thanks for taking such great care of her.

It's so lovely to visit mum here, always greeted by big smiles. The staff are wonderful and look after mum with such care and attention. There is always something going on, musical entertainment, flower arranging and painting. I have no need to worry about her. I know she is loved and well looked after. Well done and thank you all at Rivermere.

The Rivermere Care Home has been a wonderful haven for my sister, who returned to England after many years in Queensland, Australia. When her husband died there in 2017 she was placed in a care home, but with no family in Australia, she wished to be here with her family, who live in or near Sevenoaks. The move meant that she had to adapt to a new way of life, a change in climate and get used to English life again after many years away. Rivermere has helped her to do all those things and we are happy to see her settled so well and taking part in the activities of the care home. I have seen a number of care homes, having done voluntary work in one in Sevenoaks and seen others as a visitor and later spending many days in my sister's highly-regarded care home in Queensland preparing her to leave. Rivermere exceeds them all in the care that it gives and in the manner in which it is given. There is tolerance of the whims of individuals, care in the administration of medications, compassion at times of need, a range of activities and entertainments that provide something for everyone, a beautiful well-equipped bistro for coffee and casual meetings and a cuisine and restaurant that would be hard to better. A great deal of thought and professional skill has gone into providing these services, all of which are administered by staff members who are, without exception, well trained and happy people, who interact amicably with the residents.

Very caring staff in all aspects. Carers, office and admin staff are very approachable and helpful. Catering, food and staff are brilliant, good food and beverages available all day and private dining rooms and public areas are extremely well decorated. 5 star.

Outside areas and gardens are well kept and pretty. I would have loved to have sat out but the weather was cold and wet. Maintenance staff are very on the ball. Room service is available.

My father has been a resident at Rivermere Care Home since the beginning of February 2018. I know I speak for my brother and sisters on the fantastic care my father receives. The staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for my dad. Whenever I visit, I know I can always speak to someone if needed. All the staff are lovely and very respectful and caring for both residents and family members.

I cannot praise every member of staff enough at Rivermere Care Home. Thank you so much for making my dad so welcome and making it feel like home.
