Our experience of Highgrove was first class. Dad was very welcomed, he settled pleasantly in his room. Well cared for, staff very professional, communication was the key which was exceptional.

My mum went to Highgrove for respite, and I can't get her home! She loves the staff, food, activities and says they get extra treats. She has recently had her birthday and was asked to choose a birthday meal and enjoyed a lovely celebration and homemade cake. She now wants to stay here with her new
friends!

My father and mother were residents only from October 2021 and sadly both have passed away recently. However, the care compassion and devotion shown by everyone at the home was second to none and I will be forever grateful to the managers and carers.

I never thought I would ever agree to let my mother go into a care home but there comes a point where you cannot cope and it’s the only way forward. From setting foot inside Highgrove Care Home my mind was put at ease. The staff were so welcoming, it felt like walking into an upmarket hotel. Her en
suite room was made more comfortable when they brought her a recliner chair and a TV.
The lounge areas were modern and well decorated.
The staff, everyone was so kind and caring they couldn’t do enough for my mum, they always had time for me when I was worried about my mum, encouraging us to phone any time day or night if we were concerned. I can’t praise the staff enough, they are angels in disguise.

Mum came to Highgrove for respite, she was not keen as never been in a care home before and didn't know what to expect. Mum agreed to give it a go. We came to collect Mum at the end of respite and she looked so well and asked when she could come back. Mum has been to see the hairdresser and enjoyed
the activities. Mum cried on leaving as she had made some good friends, future respite booked in (Mums choice) she's very happy.

My mum was admitted to Highgrove care home for rehabilitation and she always said that she would disown me if she had to go into a care home, well what a turnaround as now I can't get her home. She wants to stay there because everyone is so kind and helpful. She has made some friends and the highlight
of her days are meeting for activities and meals. They have a good old natter, giggle like teenagers and it is so nice to see her get her sparkle back. I just want to say thank you to all involved.

My father was very ill and frail when taken into Highgrove at the beginning of August, in fact, he spent his final weeks here. He was kept comfortable and well cared for throughout and had a peaceful end with his family by his side. The staff could not have done enough for us, and whilst adhering to
Covid regulations, we were able to visit Dad as often as needed and stay by his side towards the end. Highgrove gave us a positive end of life experience with Dad - we all had the best of care! Thank you to all involved.

My aunt was taken into this home for care and assessment needs until she could be assessed at her own home. The staff were all very accommodating, caring and strict with regards to the Covid safe practice. The home was very clean, and my aunt stated the food was very good. I would recommend this home
in the future and would hope my aunt could stay there on a permanent basis.

I was replied to on the phone helpfully. I was allowed to visit outside safely. My neighbour was brought outside with the things I had requested she had with her. She was taken to the toilet as she had asked twice. We were left in peace. I was able to speak personally with the manager about my concerns.

I enjoyed my stay here, all the staff are very good to me. They have helped me get back on my feet and helped me gain strength to assist me to go home. If I had to go back into a care home I would only come here. Thank you all for what you have done for me.

I couldn't wish for a better placement for my sister. She is very well looked after, staff are compassionate and sensitive to both her needs and mine. I really couldn't have wished for a better place. All the staff are excellent in my eyes.

Although my nan was only a resident at Highgrove for 3 weeks, I cannot fault the care, support and treatment she got in that time from everyone. After she passed away the staff treated her very well and with dignity. I would recommend the care home to anyone who is looking for one. Thank you Highgrove.

It is an absolutely amazing home, they have brought out the best in my grandma. We are very happy with the progress she has made since coming to Highgrove. It's hard to describe how we as a family feel about my grandma living in Highgrove she has just blossomed, at home she was withdrawn and hard to engage with but at Highgrove when we visit she's chatty, bright-eyed, friendly with other residents, we often have to disturb her from her activity schedule.
We can't thank the staff enough, we have got our beautiful grandma back, thank you all. As a bonus to us, the home is always clean with no malodours that are sometimes linked with care homes, well done to all the team.

Mum stayed in this care home for respite and was looked after with great care and compassion and returned for the end of life care, she was looked after and kept clean and comfortable and treated with dignity. 10 out of 10. Brilliant care home, fantastic staff, can't thank them enough, being able to
sleep knowing she was cared for. Kept well informed of any changes in mum's condition.
