The first impression entering the home is excellent. The staff are so welcoming and approachable. The room is lovely with a great view. We are happy in the knowledge that our family member is well looked after.
We are pleased that the home gives such a great first impression and glad to hear that we can continue to excel within the home. Thank you for your kind words.
Everywhere beautiful.
We are so glad you could join us for one of our coffee mornings, it’s important for us to build relationships with friends and families of our residents as well as the wider community, all are welcome to join and we hope you will come again!
My Auntie was a resident at Ashworth Grange from just prior to Christmas up to the 11th of February. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff, condition of the rooms and premises, the service was really first class and in the short time my Auntie was with you all the family were so pleased and relieved that we found somewhere for her to spend her last few months where she was cared for and looked after. Cannot thank you enough.
Thank you for your lovely words and we are so very sorry for your loss, but it’s lovely to hear that we could ease your mind a little in her last few months and make sure she was comfortable and looked after. It was lovely that your family were able to visit regularly and that you were impressed with what you saw.
My mum is very happy at Ashworth Grange. The staff are always helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you so much for leaving this glowing review for Ashworth Grange, we’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to the team.
Very happy with the care and attention given to my mum. The staff are lovely and the home is very comfortable.

My mother arrived at Ashworth Grange in November 2022 after a 2 month stay in hospital. My sister found Ashworth Grange and on first impression said 'it was like going to a luxury hotel'. And she was not wrong. It is a clean and warming environment surrounded by very knowledgeable and dedicated staff who go beyond as if looking after one of their own. Pass on our thanks to all of your team!
Thank you for your lovely review, we are so pleased that we have been able to live up to such fabulous first impressions. We consider all of our residents to be part of the family and care for them with this in mind. We will happily send on your comments.
I always felt Mum was cared for. The staff took trouble choosing clothes for her. I have been in other establishments where this was not the case! The rooms were always bright, clean, and cheerful. Having the cafe and the garden to take her into was a godsend. Some of our best moments were spent in the garden. Sadly we lost Mum recently but throughout her last days, the staff were so supportive. We are so grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home at what must be a difficult time for you and your family. We are so sorry for your loss, but it’s lovely to hear that your mum’s time at Ashworth Grange was positive and that you were able to make happy memories together. Please remember you will always be welcome to come back, sit in the garden and have a cup of tea and reminisce with us.
Excellent care and attention to detail. My mum says she can find no fault, she has settled. The staff are so friendly, mum keeps saying/asking 'Have I known them all my life!'
Thank you for taking the time to send a review, it’s so lovely that your mum feels so settled and has become part of the Ashworth family, it’s lovely to have her with us.
Very pleasant staff, friendly and kind. Pleasant decor and interior. Mum is well looked after.
Thank you for your review, we are very proud of our team and will pass on your comments.
Mum came into this home in mid-November 2022. I brought her a footstool from home for her legs to be elevated. (The home could not provide one.) On 22 Dec (after 2 visits from GP regarding chest infection and possible cellulitis and the GP remarking about oedema in her legs) I walked in to find Mum's legs elevated for the first time! The home looks modern, is well furnished and the carers try their best. They are well-fed but there appears to be no help with feeding. Overall quite good but room for improvement.
Thank you for your review. Please be assured that we take all feedback very seriously, and will pass along your concerns to the Home Manager at Ashworth Grange. Please do not hesitate to give the home a call, or simply pop by the office on your next visit, should you wish to speak to anyone.
The staff are very pleasant. My auntie seems very settled and on the whole, very happy. The home is spotless and very tidy. The meals are very varied and always look lovely (auntie especially likes the puddings!) The reception area is always so welcoming and the lady on the front desk is lovely and friendly. Overall, we are very happy with the care auntie gets and the home in general. Having had experienced this before, this home is exceptional!
Thank you for your feedback, it's lovely that your Auntie has been made to feel so welcome and cared for. Also pleased to hear that the puddings hit the spot, they are our favourite too! We are very proud of our home and your lovely words are well-deserved but much appreciated.
I am happy with the home so far. I am only staying two weeks but I like it. My room, nice and cosy but dark.
Thank you for leaving this feedback for the team at Ashworth Grange. We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you need any more support in the future - we'd love to welcome you back into our home.
Mum has only been here two days, but after a little encouragement has settled well. The staff are very attentive and professional.
We really appreciate you leaving this review, thank you. It's good to hear that your mum settled in well with the team at Ashworth Grange - we hope she enjoyed the rest of her stay. Please do not hesitate to get back in touch should you need anything else.
My mother went to stay at Ashworth Grange in November 22 and has shown a marked improvement in her mobility and her whole demeanour. The staff are very welcoming the home is very clean and the residents are very well looked after. I now feel my mother is safe and cared for.
It's great to hear such lovely feedback for our team at Ashworth Grange, thank you! We're so pleased to hear that your mother has improved during her time living with us, and feels safe in the home. We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to the team.
Whilst we have enjoyed our stay there are small things that could be done to improve the service. Less noise in the serving area would be better for dementia residents. (More staff as sometimes they are so rushed they cannot help residents.) The brochure says bar but not true. Repair call buttons more quickly. Meds not given on time. Laundry turnaround could be quicker. Activities - help residents to get to these. We had no hairdresser over the two weeks. Only went to 2 activities, the cinema and keep fit. Both were excellent. The sides on bed could be better.
Thank you for your feedback. Well be sure to pass this message along to the team at Ashworth Grange, but should you wish to speak to Sharon, our Home Manager, please give the home a call on 01924 869970 or simply pop into the home to have a chat. We're glad you enjoyed your stay at Ashworth Grange, and hope you feel welcome to come back anytime.
Very clean. Friendly staff taking good care of my friend.
Thank you for leaving this review for the team at Ashworth Grange.
Good, friendly staff. Clean and tidy, could do with air fresheners. Good choice of food for mealtimes. Residents all look happy, plenty to do, nice visiting rooms, welcome to visit at all times.
It's great to hear such lovely feedback, thank you! We'll be sure to pass along your message to the team.
