I find living here quite good.

From the first contact with the wonderful staff at Horse Fair we were made to feel supported, welcomed and a part of the Horse Fair family. Mom loved her time here and settled quickly. Staff are so caring and genuine and always went above and beyond to ensure mom was well cared for. In her last few
months, mom was treated with dignity and respect by everyone who looked after her at Horse Fair. She called Horse Fair her home.

This is a lovely care home where my father is well looked after. The staff are wonderful and always make me feel very welcome and part of the "family" whenever I visit. They are always cheery and interact very well with the residents. The home is very clean and well organised and the meals look very

Mom and Dad moved into Horse Fair in September 2018 as both were suffering from dementia. We had looked at other care homes and Horse Fair was by far the nicest we had come across, we were very impressed from the start. The en-suite bedrooms are spacious and clean and the housekeeping arrangements are
well organised.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always pass the time of day with the residents and visitors, the home is always clean, warm and tidy and managed very well. There is always a choice of menu, the food is especially good as witnessed by Dad's expanding waistline.
Mom sadly passed away in June but the staff were tremendous in her end of life care and I can't thank them enough for their comfort and support through such a difficult time. Dad initially struggled to cope with his grief after the loss of Mom but the staff have been wonderful, very understanding and patient, and I am pleased to say he is back to his old self again. Thank you.

Mum has been well looked after. The carers have been very kind and caring. Mum has particularly enjoyed the drumming and keep fit activities and the church service at Easter.

After making the difficult decision to move into a care home at the age of 88, my mum chose Horse Fair Care Home. Having all her faculties she checked out 7 establishments prior to her decision that Horse Fair ticked all her boxes. Mum remained there for 2 and a half years until her death. All the staff
went the extra mile to give her excellent care, fuss and comfort in the last years of her life.
The staff all showed great respect and compassion both to mum and myself. Thank you doesn't seem enough.

My nan has been at Horse Fair for over a month now after being diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Thanks to the kind and compassionate staff she has settled in quickly.
She is well cared for, happy and safe.
All departments are so friendly and go the extra mile.

Generally the standard of care is very good. As always some members of staff are more friendly and helpful. The staff do sometimes seem stressed and this can come over to the resident and make them feel uncomfortable. I have no major complaints and if I am concerned about anything I feel I can address
it to the appropriate people and it will be resolved.

My mum has been here for 2 and a half years.
Mum is bedbound now, staff have been brilliant. Any issues we have had have been sorted immediately. Managers office is an open door policy so very approachable. Mum is now on end of life care and the quality of care is next to none. Well done Horse Fair.

My nan has been extremely well looked after since moving to Horse Fair Care Home. Staff are warm and welcoming not only to residents but also their families. They tailor the care to the individual whilst also creating a real sense of family within the home itself. There is a great motive of entertainment

The last 3/12 have been lovely for my mother. She has been extremely well cared for and had a very enjoyable Christmas and New Year. We have all as a family been supported and nurtured by the staff who appreciated our feelings that this was a Christmas without mother being in our home for the first
time.

I found this home very comfortable, more like a hotel. Very relaxed atmosphere. Décor of lounges very soothing. My room had a view of the garden and aviary. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food on the whole good. Sandwiches at tea time can be boring. Bed comfortable.
We have a programme each
week of events for residents, unfortunately, sometimes they are very late especially at lunchtime so you miss most of them.
