I want to send a big thank you to every member of staff at Horse Fair at this very difficult time.
The staff are doing an excellent job of keeping not only my father safe but every other resident.
I want you all to know you are in my thoughts every day and hope you are trying to keep yourselves safe as well as our loved ones.
We will get through this if we all pull together and help each other as much as we can.

Please take care and I hope it will not be too long before I see you all again.

My mother has been here for 20 months, she is happy and treated well. The staff are always pleasant. Looked at many care homes, this one suits my mum's needs and was the best I found.

Horse Fair is not just a care home, it and the staff really care about the friendly and efficient love they give - it is just like one happy family home. Nothing is too much trouble, and all the staff really care, both for the resident and their relatives. It is a hard decision to put a relative into care, but I have has no regret at all that Horse Fair provides just won needed. Well done to you all.

Horse Fair Care Home provides a safe balanced environment that offers comfort tailored care and community for all.

Management and staff are considerate at all times. Ultimately this is a business with commercial considerations, hence the above-average fees that apply. A loyalty discount should be considered as there are other providers that provide similar services and its a buyers market.

The nursing staff and front of house have been excellent in ensuring that my next of kin stays safe and is as happy as possible.

The accommodation is as close to home as you can get and everyone goes out of their way to be polite and give Horse Fair a homely feel.

It is not like living at home, but when you can't look after yourself you've got to have someone to do that for you.

From the first contact with the wonderful staff at Horse Fair we were made to feel supported, welcomed and a part of the Horse Fair family. Mom loved her time here and settled quickly. Staff are so caring and genuine and always went above and beyond to ensure mom was well cared for. In her last few months, mom was treated with dignity and respect by everyone who looked after her at Horse Fair. She called Horse Fair her home.

This is a lovely care home where my father is well looked after. The staff are wonderful and always make me feel very welcome and part of the "family" whenever I visit. They are always cheery and interact very well with the residents. The home is very clean and well organised and the meals look very appetising. There is always a choice on the menu.

Overall Experience
Mom and Dad moved into Horse Fair in September 2018 as both were suffering from dementia. We had looked at other care homes and Horse Fair was by far the nicest we had come across, we were very impressed from the start. The en-suite bedrooms are spacious and clean and the housekeeping arrangements are well organised.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always pass the time of day with the residents and visitors, the home is always clean, warm and tidy and managed very well. There is always a choice of menu, the food is especially good as witnessed by Dad's expanding waistline.

Mom sadly passed away in June but the staff were tremendous in her end of life care and I can't thank them enough for their comfort and support through such a difficult time. Dad initially struggled to cope with his grief after the loss of Mom but the staff have been wonderful, very understanding and patient, and I am pleased to say he is back to his old self again. Thank you.

After making the difficult decision to move into a care home at the age of 88, my mum chose Horse Fair Care Home. Having all her faculties she checked out 7 establishments prior to her decision that Horse Fair ticked all her boxes. Mum remained there for 2 and a half years until her death. All the staff went the extra mile to give her excellent care, fuss and comfort in the last years of her life.

The staff all showed great respect and compassion both to mum and myself. Thank you doesn't seem enough.
