My mum moved into Horse Fair and was made to feel very welcome. The staff are all very kind, helpful and willing to listen to any concerns and are all doing their best to settle mum in. The home itself is very clean and well run offering a variety of services and entertainment plans.
I would not hesitate
in recommending Horse Fair to anyone looking for care. Thank you ladies.

My friend appeared to be very contented while at Horse Fair Care Home. He was very well looked after and enjoyed his brief few months there.
The staff were kind, good humoured and helpful.
It is unfortunate that he had to leave owing to more demanding nursing needs.

I had respite care.
The staff were friendly, readily available to help. The room was very clean and regularly cleaned and tidied.

I cannot fault Horse Fair Care Home. The staff are brilliant - caring, patient, friendly and always going that extra step to ensure my mother is well looked after, even when this means going to Rugeley in their lunchtime.


The environment is beautiful. It is tastefully decorated, always spotless and

comfortable. Management and staff endeavour to provide activities to suit all tastes and to provide a stimulating environment.

Staff always welcoming to me and my dog, residents are comfortable and the home always has a calm atmosphere, though there are always varied activities in progress during our visit. Weather permitting, downstairs residents are able to access the garden, which is well kept.

First class, 5-star is how we would class this care home and all the staff here at Horse Fair. They are dedicated, supportive, loving and very caring and go above and beyond normal duties. This is not like most care homes, this is like a hotel where you feel and are treated with respect and dignity

Mum stayed here for two years until she passed away last month aged 92. A lovely care home. Staff are kind and caring and very professional. The home generally has a happy atmosphere and needs are met with dignity. Pleasant lounges, dining rooms and a garden. Good choice of activities and a stimulating
environment for people like my mum. Staff have regular meetings to get feedback from residents and families and their views are acted upon. Could not have asked for a better home for mum.

My grandma was very happy at Horse Fair during her respite stay. She felt very welcome and included, especially by the activities team. I would highly recommend Horse Fair care home because of the over all care, attention and facilities available. Having lived away from the UK for most of my adult life, the meals are not quite to my international taste, however, the food served is excellent for the taste of those who have lived in the
U.K. The kitchen is very good to me and caters for my international taste where possible. The activities available are excellent and varied.
Management are always available and ready to assist with any queries or questions one may have. The care staff are very helpful and kind. The rooms are of a high standard with en-suite facilities.
The overall ambiance is very warming and friendly making the needs and comfort of the residents to a homely standard. I certainly would recommend Horse Fair Care Home to others who require such care. Having lived here for over three years, I find myself each year feeling more and more like this is my home which gives me happiness and contentment.

I moved into Horse Fair Care Home on 1st July 2011. At a recent care review, it was decided that i now needed nursing care which is not available here. I am all set to move to a nursing home much nearer to my family. Coming to Horse Fair is the best thing I have ever done since becoming disabled, I
am completely wheelchair bound and now completely deaf. The staff here are first class, the food is superb, the atmosphere is lovely and the whole is run extremely well. Whilst I am looking forward to making new friends, I am not looking forward to saying goodbye to the ones here.
