My nan has been at Horse Fair for over a month now after being diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Thanks to the kind and compassionate staff she has settled in quickly.
She is well cared for, happy and safe.
All departments are so friendly and go the extra mile.
The home is warm, welcoming and very clean.

We couldn't ask for a better service.

Generally the standard of care is very good. As always some members of staff are more friendly and helpful. The staff do sometimes seem stressed and this can come over to the resident and make them feel uncomfortable. I have no major complaints and if I am concerned about anything I feel I can address it to the appropriate people and it will be resolved.

My mum has been here for 2 and a half years.

Mum is bedbound now, staff have been brilliant. Any issues we have had have been sorted immediately. Managers office is an open door policy so very approachable. Mum is now on end of life care and the quality of care is next to none. Well done Horse Fair.

My nan has been extremely well looked after since moving to Horse Fair Care Home. Staff are warm and welcoming not only to residents but also their families. They tailor the care to the individual whilst also creating a real sense of family within the home itself. There is a great motive of entertainment with something for everyone. Well done all!

The last 3/12 have been lovely for my mother. She has been extremely well cared for and had a very enjoyable Christmas and New Year. We have all as a family been supported and nurtured by the staff who appreciated our feelings that this was a Christmas without mother being in our home for the first time.

I found this home very comfortable, more like a hotel. Very relaxed atmosphere. Décor of lounges very soothing. My room had a view of the garden and aviary. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food on the whole good. Sandwiches at tea time can be boring. Bed comfortable.

We have a programme each week of events for residents, unfortunately, sometimes they are very late especially at lunchtime so you miss most of them.

My mum moved into Horse Fair and was made to feel very welcome. The staff are all very kind, helpful and willing to listen to any concerns and are all doing their best to settle mum in. The home itself is very clean and well run offering a variety of services and entertainment plans.

I would not hesitate in recommending Horse Fair to anyone looking for care. Thank you ladies.

My friend appeared to be very contented while at Horse Fair Care Home. He was very well looked after and enjoyed his brief few months there.
The staff were kind, good humoured and helpful.
It is unfortunate that he had to leave owing to more demanding nursing needs.

Thanks to everyone on his behalf.

I had respite care.
The staff were friendly, readily available to help. The room was very clean and regularly cleaned and tidied.

Food was good, varied menu, plenty on the plate. Lounges were quiet spaces to enjoy reading and mixing with other residents.
