This care home is amazing! The care given by the staff exceeds any expectations you may have. The staff go above and beyond at every step and it's nice to see staff who genuinely care and enjoy their jobs.

Staff are helpful and happy when dealing with residents. Food is good and varied.

Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Food okay.

The staff work very long hours but are always very pleasant.

Food was good, varied menu, plenty on the plate. Lounges were quiet spaces to enjoy reading and mixing with other residents.

My nan is extremely well looked after. Staff and management go the extra mile to keep her comfortable. Grateful to you all!

Staff always welcoming to me and my dog, residents are comfortable and the home always has a calm atmosphere, though there are always varied activities in progress during our visit. Weather permitting, downstairs residents are able to access the garden, which is well kept.

I cannot fault Horse Fair Care Home. The staff are brilliant - caring, patient, friendly and always going that extra step to ensure my mother is well looked after, even when this means going to Rugeley in their lunchtime.

The environment is beautiful. It is tastefully decorated, always spotless and comfortable. Management and staff endeavour to provide activities to suit all tastes and to provide a stimulating environment.

Since attending Horse Fair mum's health has improved. The staff here are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to come here.

First class, 5-star is how we would class this care home and all the staff here at Horse Fair. They are dedicated, supportive, loving and very caring and go above and beyond normal duties. This is not like most care homes, this is like a hotel where you feel and are treated with respect and dignity and have become part of our family.

Mum stayed here for two years until she passed away last month aged 92. A lovely care home. Staff are kind and caring and very professional. The home generally has a happy atmosphere and needs are met with dignity. Pleasant lounges, dining rooms and a garden. Good choice of activities and a stimulating environment for people like my mum. Staff have regular meetings to get feedback from residents and families and their views are acted upon. Could not have asked for a better home for mum.

My grandma was very happy at Horse Fair during her respite stay. She felt very welcome and included, especially by the activities team. It was really nice to see grandma socialising and interacting with other residents and staff and we enjoyed coming to visit and joining in too. Grandma's room was nicely presented and she enjoyed the food.

The overall ambiance is very warming and friendly making the needs and comfort of the residents to a homely standard. I certainly would recommend Horse Fair Care Home to others who require such care. Having lived here for over three years, I find myself each year feeling more and more like this is my home which gives me happiness and contentment.

I moved into Horse Fair Care Home on 1st July 2011. At a recent care review, it was decided that i now needed nursing care which is not available here. I am all set to move to a nursing home much nearer to my family. Coming to Horse Fair is the best thing I have ever done since becoming disabled, I am completely wheelchair bound and now completely deaf. The staff here are first class, the food is superb, the atmosphere is lovely and the whole is run extremely well. Whilst I am looking forward to making new friends, I am not looking forward to saying goodbye to the ones here.

Well kept care home in pleasant surroundings. Well managed and staff appear dedicated and well trained. Excellent menus with choice, and housekeeping services very good. Rooms are pleasant and spacious. All staff are friendly and approachable. Excellent team who are dedicated to providing residents with entertainment in varying forms on a regular basis. Management and senior staff operate an open door policy to discuss any issues. Staff specifically trained in dementia care.

My nan lives here on the upstairs floor. The staff are so lovely and will always go the extra mile for you, kind and considerate. I know my nan is loved and cared for here, it is like 1 big family.

All staff of the care home - care workers, receptionists, catering, gardeners etc are unfailingly kind, courteous and supportive in every way. I have peace of mind knowing that my brother has 24-hour care.

Her care has been excellent and will definitely be returning.

My mum became a resident in February - she has Alzheimer's and vascular dementia. She has settled in well due to the care and attention of the staff. She has gained weight (which is good as she is very slim) and this is due to the good quality food! She has lots of stimulation provided by the wide range of activities provided and when my father passed away on 9/3/17 the staff were so kind and lovely not only to my mum but also to me - it is a lovely place for my mum.

My Mum is well looked after at Horse Fair. The food is good. There is a high level of cleanliness throughout the home. Staff are friendly and helpful.
