The carers were lovely, and the management were helpful. Mum went in weighing 8 stone 9oz, one month later she is weighing 9 stone 11oz. We thought that was amazing, well done.

The care at Hawthorn Court Care Home is of an exceptionally high standard. Every member of staff is kind, caring and compassionate. They definitely work together as a team and go above and beyond at all times. We can't thank them enough for their care of my dad and our whole family.

Transformational. They took someone in who wasn't eating, disinterested in everything, unable to walk and turned her around. After 4 weeks the difference was outstanding. She was fully engaged in all activities, enjoying her food and was so much physically and emotionally stronger.

Unbelievable welcoming atmosphere from our first visit. The standard of care shown to my father in law is second to none. We cannot fault any aspect of Hawthorn Court Care Home. A difficult transition from independent living into care was made as easy as possible by the whole team. Superb!

From entering the building I can feel a happy, relaxed atmosphere. Residents and staff are one big happy family. My mother has settled very quickly and I know she is being cared for which is a great relief for me.

The home is always clean and welcoming. Both the home and its grounds are very well maintained. There are plenty of activities and entertainment throughout the week for residents to engage in. The staff are superb, all staff from reception staff to cooks and cleaners fully engage with residents and

My nana has been really poorly in hospital for a month and when she eventually got out of hospital, all the staff have been extra caring and amazing and got her back on her feet again. It puts our minds at rest knowing she is safe.

I have been in Hawthorn Court for 13 weeks. I find the staff most helpful, always there when I need them and always there to listen to my words. The manager is an excellent manager who I have known for many years as my sister spent three years in Hawthorn. I would recommend to anyone needing to be in
care to use Hawthorn.

My experience with Hawthorn Court in Hebburn has been outstanding when my Nana was a resident in the home. I can not thank the home and all the lovely staff for all the hard work that they do with all the lovely patients and residents. I would like to give a big shout-out to ten staff members and all
the other caring lovely staff and carers. You have all been amazing and very supportive and caring these last weeks with all my family when we all were around my Nana's bedside. You were all great with my Nana when she was in the Hawthorn Court Care Home for about over a year. I would like to say a big massive thank you to all night time care staff for helping with my Nana and being there for her and also being there for my mum who stayed with my Nana when she was very ill and suffering in pain. I will miss you all and miss having little chats with you about my fitness. Keep up all the good hard work.

Care Home is lovely and clean, very fresh and welcoming. The activities seem to be varied and plentiful. Singers are especially appreciated and more of this kind of entertainment would be really good. The staff are friendly and helpful, always patient and kind to residents.
