Her carers do a wonderful job and are always smiling and friendly whenever I visit. The home is a welcoming environment and I can't find fault in it.

You asked “does the home have the correct ratio of staff”, I can confirm our staff ratio is correct, and is based on a comprehensive level of need criteria. If you wish to discuss either of these matters further, please contact the Home Manager directly who will do her utmost to assist.

My mam has been in here for around two months. I live away so don't get to see her much. She has settled so well and is very happy here. The staff are lovely, very clean and beautiful gardens. Excellent place to stay.

Visited my aunty in the care home. All the staff I came into contact with were very caring and helpful in making my aunt's birthday special.

My brother is happy and well cared for in Hawthorn Court. The staff are lovely and if I have any problems they have sorted them out. His room is kept clean and the bathroom is spotless. I would recommend this house to my friends and family.

Grandma has settled brilliantly into the home. She has come from another home and this one is worlds apart. Activities and keeping her engaged. Wish she'd come here earlier.

Me and my daughter came to visit our grandma/great grandma and brought lunch, so we could all eat together. The staff could not be more accommodating, allowing us to sit in the lounge.

The staff are always friendly and offer my mam care with dignity. Nothing is too much trouble and there are always lots of activities to keep the residents occupied.

Management and staff could not be better, the service they offer is marvellous. I think there should be more exercise on the curriculum (light of course). They have a beautiful garden but not many use it from the first floor, but all round it is excellent.

We really appreciate your feedback, and we will share with the team, to ensure that further gentle exercise options are added to our resident's meeting, in order to seek further ideas from them. The garden is accessible for all, and we will also raise this in the residents meeting to remind and encourage them to utilise this area. If you wish to discuss the matter further, please contact the Home Manager directly who will do her utmost to achieve our residents’ requests.

Like a home from home the care home has lovely lounges and a garden lounge leading into a beautiful garden where Mam enjoys the setting. There is always something to keep her occupied with many activities and outings. She appears relaxed and happy which gives me great comfort and reassurance.
