The atmosphere is very warm; the staff are always there to meet your needs, nothing is too much trouble. There is no 'care home smell'. The food is good and on occasions, we now have a choice to go out for a picnic. Everywhere is clean and great importance is taken by all the staff to ensure we adhere
to the Coronavirus rules.

Me and my mum are very happy with the overall standard of the home. The two girls on reception go above and beyond to help you, can't praise them enough. The only problem I have is why when you have your mam's name on all her clothes she ends up with other peoples. We found it really hard recently when
mam was taken to hospital to find a pair of PJ's that matched. Other than this usually happy with the home and the staff.

I held my mam's hand this week for the first time in over a year. We could not be more grateful for all the measures that have been put in place. The staff are immeasurably kind and caring. Mam is happy and safe here.

There is always a nice friendly atmosphere in the home, we are made to feel welcome - we know it has been difficult in these Covid times but feel staff have coped extremely well. Our mum seems comfortable and needs are being met. Many thanks to you all.

I am generally satisfied with the care and facilities. I have spoken to my uncle about this and these comments reflect our joint view. He was on a special hospital ordered diet, which he disliked, however, his feeling is that he would eat more and more varied food, especially now the diet is over. We
both are aware that there appear to be different rates for residents. My uncle pays £3,600+ per month, not good value for money.

My mother has been a resident of Hawthorn Court for 10 months. Although I have not been in Hawthorn Court since 12 March 2020 I have no reason to think the standard (overall) has declined. If anything I would say the home has improved as excellent.
The manager and staff have been exceptional regarding;
communication, care, respect and safety with respect to my mother's care. I am extremely grateful and thankful.

As the next of kin for my cousin who has been a resident since 2013, I cannot sufficiently express my admiration and gratitude to the manager and staff of Hawthorn Court for their professionalism, compassion, kindness and care. Hawthorn Court is a safe secure happy environment which treats its residents
and their families with the greatest respect and courtesy. I have total confidence in the manager and her staff and I can not recommend their service highly enough. Any person needing care could not be better looked after than in the security of Hawthorn Court where they will be treated with kindness and dignity.

On first going into Hawthorn Court I was met with the impression that this was the place for me; a cheerful receptionist soon put me at ease and gave me a tour of the facilities. The rooms are bright and well equipped with all the fittings being clean and providing me with all I require. I quickly felt
I was part of the family. The staff are most helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them to help you in whatever you want. I never have any complaints about the food, it is just like being at home. Due to the current restrictions placed on the staff and residents by the Coronavirus, I know it is a very difficult time. I know that this is the place for me where I will always be happy.

I visited my auntie recently. I was very impressed with the overall standard of the care home. The staff were very friendly and the home had a high standard of cleanliness. The first impression when you walk in is fantastic. As a registered mental health nurse, I was highly impressed.

Mam came into Hawthorn Court after a stay in hospital. She soon settled in and we feel she was welcomed into the home. Hawthorn Court staff are all very helpful and pleasant. The home is very clean and well presented.

My mum was admitted to the home on New Year's Eve. She was poorly and had experienced many falls at home and was unsafe in her own home.
Since her admission, she has gained confidence, eaten well, slept well and become increasingly mobile although blind she has been well supported by the staff. All
the staff are genuinely kind and caring and provide a high standard of care. All the residents always appear clean, happy and well cared for. The environment is lovely and kept to a high standard. I can't thank the staff enough for their excellent care and attention to mum.
