Staff are fabulous. Very caring towards my Mum and to our family when we visit.
Good staff and environment, very safe and caring.
Riverdale is a wonderful place. The staff are incredible - so caring. The staff at Riverdale Court take excellent care of my mother. My family and I are delighted with the level of care and attention mum receives.
Thank you, for the review, I will share with my team.
Very clean and well organised. Good food and plenty of activities. Staff are so happy, friendly and helpful.
I am glad to read your feedback on Riverdale Court and our staff.
Thank you for your kind review.
Mum has only been here for two weeks and already looks better. The carers are amazing, and I fell confident Mum's receiving excellent care. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your reviews. It was nice to meet you and I will share your feedback to my team.
Since her stay, she has been extremely well looked after. We have seen a change in her in such a short time, and she also seems happy.
The carers and management team have gone the extra mile to deliver fantastic care for her. Nothing is too much for them.
They are all fantastic, and 100% committed to their job.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I am glad mum settled well at Riverdale.
I will share your feedback to our team
Couldn't be happier with the care my nan has received. The last time I saw her in person she was in hospital. Frail, sick, crying, depressed and giving up on life. I haven't been able to see her face to face since she joined your home due to COVID, but the videos we see on a daily basis show me a completely new person. She looks amazing, she's laughing away and seems happier than ever. Thank you for taking such good care of her in this horrible situation we find ourselves in. The whole team clearly care a lot about the residents and keeping them in touch with their families. I can't wait to finally be able to introduce her to my newborn daughter.
Thank you so much for your review, Rebecca. We are happy to read your review and feedback.
My mother-in-law moved into Riverdale in late February. Both I and my husband are very pleased with the care and compassion the staff show towards all residents. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious and homely. The activity team, work really hard and there is always something going on. Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we are unable to visit, but we know she is being well looked after and they will inform us if there is anything we need to know. We can also phone to talk to our Mum when we like, which gives us peace of mind.
I will make sure to pass the feedback to our team.
The care that she was given was excellent and the staff were amazing.
The home is a very friendly and welcoming place and I am so glad that I chose for my mum to live here.
As her needs changed, the staff went above and beyond to meet them and I felt as if they treated her like one of their own.
They were really supportive to me throughout her time at Riverdale and I can't thank them enough for what they did for Mum and for me.
We are so sad to have lost Mary. She was very special to us and also thank you for always believing in us. You are very welcome to visit after the lockdown.
The care home has provided a second chance at life for my nan. She has spent the last ten to fifteen years quite isolated in her house, not wanting to go outside and mix with anyone, which was hard for us to watch. She had no interest in anything other than the TV. After she became quite frail she could no longer look after herself and my mum could no longer help care for her due to her own health problems. We chose this home not knowing how she would cope after being so used to her own isolated routine. She has been there now five months and she is a completely different person! The staff at the care home have helped her to make friends, join in with activities of her interests and they have given her daily company and a friendly face to talk to. Plus she has around the clock care by some of the nicest, kindest carers we’ve met. She loves to sit out in the beautiful garden with her friends. She enjoys the activities and the food. The staff always tailor to her needs. They are amazing!
It is nice to hear your feedback and also that your nan has settled well.
Our Mum has been a resident at Riverdale for nearly a year now. It was a hard and heartbreaking thing for us as a family to see, our beautiful mum deteriorating so much. However, all the staff at Riverdale made this transition for mum and the family so much easier because of all their professionalism and care they have shown our mum. Nothing is too much for the staff, we know mum is in good hands especially now when we can’t see her. The ladies on Maple, especially two I can't mention, go above and beyond what they need to do, thank you all so much for keeping our lovely mum safe.
It is nice to hear from your experience as a daughter and that your mum has settled well.
We moved my Dad from another local residential care facility to Riverdale because at the time the fees we're tough to manage from the family estate, and notably, there were significant shortfalls in the care that constantly led to frustration and disappointment. After much research, we found Riverdale Court in Welling. The positives a move back to Welling for my dad his home for 30 years, and secondly a care package that was not only more nursing driven but also priced more fairly we thought. We have been thrilled with Dad's progress since the move to Riverdale, he was not understandably the most positive gent with the onset of crippling arthritis and the lack of independence that has brought after several falls. The Riverdale team we have found to be dedicated to managing not only his main issues (arthritis, leg swelling due to lack of mobility) but also his working hard to keep his morale and contentment much higher than previous. Great experience and peace of mind for me his son.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We hope you are enjoying your stay in the UK.
The home and Mum’s room were always spotless and there was never an unpleasant smell. The atmosphere was one of a happy place to be and it had more like a family atmosphere than a care home. The carers were absolutely brilliant with Mum. She was the independent sort but they managed to balance respecting her wishes with ensuring that she was properly looked after without causing her distress and anxiety and they always did this with kindness and respect, and there was very clear fondness between her and the staff. They were always available to discuss anything regarding her and her care and did so willingly and openly, consulting me and encouraging my input. When it came to the end of her life they showed huge compassion and kindness and fought her corner to ensure that she had appropriate palliative care as well as providing a lot of support to me in her final days. She and I could not have asked for more. They were just fantastic and I really do recommend Riverdale Court.
I will pass to all the staff.
Although I'm hard of hearing and have poor eyesight, I try to join in all the activities. It would be hard to find a nicer place than this.
We appreciate your feedback and I will share with the team.
I am quite comfortable living here. The staff are very good and helpful.
I haven't bee her very long (about one month) but I am quite happy. I enjoy reading my newspaper with a cup of tea and the people are very genuine.
Myself and my sister are very happy with the care home. The staff are friendly and always helpful. Our mum took a while to settle but she seems okay now. The activities are very good and the team work hard to entertain the residents. The carers work very hard too in meeting all residents needs and requests, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Other than trivial day-to-day issues, I can't fault the quality of care and attention my mother is receiving. I am impressed with the obvious commitment of both staff and management to the health and happiness of the residents.
The staff are so kind, patient and interact well with the residents.
Visitors are always welcomed.
The range of activities arranged; are also very good.
My mum has been a resident at Riverdale Court since early December 2019. She has dementia issues and also mobility issues. We as a family have found the staff at Riverdale to be extremely caring. My Mum can be very particular about her food sometimes and they go out of their way to remember ( and make her coffee the way she likes it). The nursing care is also excellent and very professional. They also keep you updated as to any minor issues that may occur. She can also get her hair done and see a chiropodist when needed. We see the same friendly staff regularly and you can call in at any time, you are always welcome. It’s clean and tidy and her room is quite large. It’s easy for her to get around with her walker as well. I’m really pleased with her care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. When I leave after visiting I know she is being well looked after and is warm and safe and that she is happy there.
