Mum normally lives independently with support. She stayed for 2 weeks while we took a holiday. She was well cared for, all the staff are friendly and polite. The home is spacious and light, in very good decorative order and nicely furnished. There are activities, outings and entertainment for those who are able/wish to participate.

We would recommend this care home for consideration to anyone requiring such a facility.

This is a fantastic place for my Mum who is here as a resident after a major stroke. We and she regard Prestbury House as her 'home' after being here a few years! From the manager to all her care staff, who are all brilliant with her, not just her care, but helping her to continue to live her life to her fullest! She has great care and regular activities and social interaction that she wouldn't get anywhere else!! We, as a family, wouldn't want her to be anywhere else as feel it would decrease her quality of life! Great place for my Mum!!

We can not fault the care and attention we have received from all the staff. We have never known such kindness and love, we have been given from the lowest to the highest.

Dad has had a rough ride. However, since becoming a resident at Prestbury House, he has settled in so well. Dad is monitored and is very happy. Staff are professional, but also make you feel like it is your home too. Some pictures/things to do and look at on the dementia floor would be nice to stimulate residents.

My Grandfather moved in here around a month and a half ago. Prestbury House welcomed him with care and dignity and involved the family in his care from the beginning. The activities are good and residents have various trips out. The bedrooms are immaculately clean and spacious. So far we are very impressed with Prestbury House, it is far superior to my Grandfather's previous residential home.

The total care package has benefitted my mother physically/socially/medically. Staff are attentive and friendly across all work areas and recognise the person, not a room number. Excellent choice.

My mother was a resident for 9 months. The staff were outstanding, exceeding our expectations by a long way. The nurses, carers, kitchen staff, management and all other staff on the ground floor treated my mother so beautifully and were there for her until she died. They also looked after my two sisters and I making our stay a dream. We could not have hoped for a better nursing home. We have become close friends with the staff members. They are all angels.

The care received through the years has been excellent. At end of life, staff were caring and compassionate and could not do enough for us.

This included all staff members from reception, maintenance, care and nursing staff.

The family required immediate respite for Mum whilst Dad was admitted to hospital. An assessor came out the same day on a home visit and Mum was taken into care the following morning. We received a very warm welcome from all the staff. Mum has been cared for extremely well during her two weeks stay. I would not hesitate to use this service again. Thank you to everyone.

I live overseas and found the personal assistance of the manager to be exemplary. I have received photographs and a video of mum, and am kept well informed. UK based members of our family speak very highly of Prestbury House Care Home, with comments about the caring and friendly nature of staff.

I can not speak highly enough of my experience with the home and how quickly my mother settled into life there. I am looking forward to meeting everyone when I visit mum in 2018.

My responses are based on comments from family and my experience with dealing with the staff over the phone.

It is a very happy place. The carers are superb and nothing is too much trouble. The housekeepers are friendly and very efficient.

At busy times the residents would benefit from more staff.

I have felt very safe whilst here and would be happy to come back.

Hello, my name is Nishi, and I am the Home Manager here at Prestbury House.

I have over 30 years of experience working in hospitals across the world and worked as a Registered General Nurse and midwife in India from 1990 to 1994. I have worked in care home management for over 15 years.

Working in various roles across different organisations, primarily within a care home, has given me a deep appreciation for creating a nurturing and joyful environment for our residents. I am most inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, where each person feels valued, respected and celebrated for who they are and the journey they’ve lived. My goal is to bring warmth and happiness, to make our residents feel safe, well-cared for and uplifted. Being in a care home should feel like the beginning of a fulfilling chapter, where every resident’s wishes are honoured and their days are filled with joy, dignity and purpose.
