A very pleasant clean care home. Staff have been excellent and helpful.
Management seems a little disconnected from what goes on but the service from the staff is good and the facilities are excellent.
Wifi poor for visitors Skype and facetime with distant relatives was not possible.

My aunt's just enjoyed a 3-week respite stay at Prestbury House - The team welcomed her warmly and really built up her confidence to start walking again and become more mobile. The staff looked after my Mum as a resident previously, hence it was an easy decision to suggest it to my aunt. The home and
staff offer a modern, clean, friendly spirited-environment, making it a pleasure to visit. The rooms are en-suite and very nicely decorated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others or use the home's services in the future.

Dad came to the home as a result of the cold snap at the beginning of the year.
The staff could not have been more helpful. He speaks highly of the staff and the outings on which he has been. Having made a number of friends he has now settled very well.


The large room that he has, enabled him to

bring a number of "treasures" to make the room his. There is also ample space for his mobility scooter. There are often times that he does not take my phone calls as he is busy socialising!


As I live a long distance away, it is comforting to know that staff are easily contacted by phone and that any enquiries that I make are responded to quickly. Staff do contact me as well in order to discuss any support that Dad may require or to inform me of any developments.Thank you Prestbury House.

The staff have gone over and about their duty to help my friend settle into the care home. Nothing is too much trouble. We are always made to feel very welcome when visiting.

My mother came back here after suffering a severe stroke last year. She now has complex and challenging needs. The care and attention she receives on a daily basis are second to none. From admin through to nurses and carers the whole team strive to deliver the best care, constantly reviewing their actions
and learning from feedback. The staff always make time to chat and engage with families and residents. I can see that my mother is loved and valued here and could not ask for more. Furthermore, I am always made to feel welcome at the home which itself is in a beautiful building, well maintained and looked after.

Mum normally lives independently with support. She stayed for 2 weeks while we took a holiday. She was well cared for, all the staff are friendly and polite. The home is spacious and light, in very good decorative order and nicely furnished. There are activities, outings and entertainment for those
who are able/wish to participate.
We would recommend this care home for consideration to anyone requiring such a facility.

This is a fantastic place for my Mum who is here as a resident after a major stroke. We and she regard Prestbury House as her 'home' after being here a few years! From the manager to all her care staff, who are all brilliant with her, not just her care, but helping her to continue to live her life to
her fullest! She has great care and regular activities and social interaction that she wouldn't get anywhere else!! We, as a family, wouldn't want her to be anywhere else as feel it would decrease her quality of life! Great place for my Mum!!

Dad has had a rough ride. However, since becoming a resident at Prestbury House, he has settled in so well. Dad is monitored and is very happy. Staff are professional, but also make you feel like it is your home too. Some pictures/things to do and look at on the dementia floor would be nice to stimulate
residents.

My Grandfather moved in here around a month and a half ago. Prestbury House welcomed him with care and dignity and involved the family in his care from the beginning. The activities are good and residents have various trips out. The bedrooms are immaculately clean and spacious. So far we are very impressed
with Prestbury House, it is far superior to my Grandfather's previous residential home.

I have over 30 years of experience working in hospitals across the world and worked as a Registered General Nurse and midwife in India from 1990 to 1994. I have worked in care home management for over 15 years.


Working in various roles across different organisations, primarily within a care home, has given me a deep appreciation for creating a nurturing and joyful environment for our residents. I am most inspired by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, where each person feels valued, respected and celebrated for who they are and the journey they’ve lived. My goal is to bring warmth and happiness, to make our residents feel safe, well-cared for and uplifted. Being in a care home should feel like the beginning of a fulfilling chapter, where every resident’s wishes are honoured and their days are filled with joy, dignity and purpose.
