My husband was in the care of Park View for 7 months before he died and was treated with respect and kindness during that time. The care home had a friendly atmosphere and staff were always available for me and my family when we visited (which was almost every day) with cheerfulness and practical help when needed. My husband was probably not the easiest of the residents to deal with but he received good care and I know he appreciated that he was cared for at all times. At the end someone was with him in his room and the family and myself were grateful for that. Thank you.

My mother has been at Park View Care Home for just over a month now. All the staff have been very welcoming and have taken great care of her, and she is now settling in nicely. The home is kept beautifully clean, the food is very good and there are plenty of activities, so there is always something to do. The staff are always visible and to hand, so the residents are obviously well looked after. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, and the staff say that their prime concern is that the residents should be happy. Thank you so much to all the staff.

Very warm, caring environment and all staff kind and considerate. As a family we felt very confident in the care from all the staff. The tone was set from the start with the welcome that our loved one received, and the reassurance given to the family. There was a real understanding how this is a difficult time when your loved one is requiring residential care.

Would highly recommend.

Hospital deemed my wife required 24/7 care. Myself and family were pleased with the location and quality of the home. Since then, despite being confined to bed, she has received excellent care and attention. Also staff have given myself and my daughter good support during our visits.

Would recommend the home to anyone in need.

I cannot rate Park View Care Home highly enough.
The staff made my Mum's final years the very best they could be and her inevitable passing was treated with dignity and compassion.
Mum spent 5 years at Park View and was treated with care and love. The staff are so special and the standard all care homes should aim for.

Thank you all very much.

My father was taken ill on a Sunday and my quick visit ended up staying for ten hours. During this time whilst we waited for the out-of-hours doctor, all of the care team not only ensured that my dad was ok but also looked after me ensuring that I ate something. It was a fantastic opportunity to witness first-hand the days activities, meal times and all the team at work.

I am so pleased that I have found such a wonderful care home for my dad.

I recently came out of hospital after a stroke. I came straight to Park View and received a very warm welcome from the manager. Considering it is a daunting experience moving to a new home I appreciate the welcome from all the staff. The home displays a very high standard. The rooms are of a high standard with high-quality fittings. The care shown to me has been exceptional!

Park View have been very good with my uncle and he has enjoyed his time with them, they enabled him to have and enjoy his later life, joining in games and activities. His care has been so very good and he has been able to make friends in a light, bright environment. This would not have been possible if he had remained at home due to his dementia. The kindness of the staff towards my uncle has been above and beyond whatever they were paid. Thank you all so much.

From the first point of contact with the manager, I knew we were going to be looked after extremely well and I can't express how well my husband was cared for in the four weeks of his respite. Visiting was a pleasure, every member of staff was always smiling and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Park View and use them again.

I would just like to thank everyone for making my recovery from hip surgery effortlessly easy. Long may you continue your excellent services.

I have stage 4 bowel cancer. I need quality palliative/end-of-life care and personal care. So for me, this ticks all the boxes. When I need personal nurses at 3 AM it is reassuring to know staff are hands-on and come straight away. If there are issues with modifying times for meds or food/dietary requirements the staff listen and adjust routines to your personal way. Yes, the environment, food and ambience are great but it's the care and attention and staff that matter.

I have worked in the social care sector as a registered manager in a home and regional capacity for over 25 years since leaving the NHS, where I was a ward sister.

I am a Registered Nurse and have a Degree in Gerontological Nursing, the Registered Managers Award and also Level 5 in management and leadership.

I love this home and want the staff to feel the same, as this then impacts our residents' experience and helps them feel at home right from day one
