I could not have asked for better loving care for my dear wife over the last six weeks of her life on this earth. The staff were professional in all they did and my wife was completely pain-free at the end. Some staff went the extra mile and even came in on their days off to make sure my wife was comfortable. It was also such a comfort to my wife to have our dog with her every day.

Thank you for these kind words, we will miss seeing the dog, so please ensure you pop by for a cup of tea and cake. it was a pleasure to be able to look after your wife.

I have been here in Park View for 2 weeks of respite care after a knee replacement followed by a week in hospital and unfortunately, my husband passing away. Park View has been wonderful in helping me get back on my feet and my mind sorted after a very traumatic time for me. The staff are so kind, considerate, caring and nothing is too much bother. They are all wonderful. I have enjoyed my stay and will always remember everybody's kindness.

The care for my mum over the last 4 years has been outstanding and over her last days, the care was stepped up even further. The compassion and dignity was first class. The support my family and I got was also first class. Couldn't have asked for better care. I have been connected with Park View for the last 10 years as my dad previously spent 6 years here before he passed.

From the first phone call to Park View, a great weight was lifted off my shoulders. Two particular members of staff came to see my stepdad straight away and said he could move in that day. Wow the place was amazing, so clean and the decor fantastic. His room with ensuite was absolutely marvellous and they unpacked his things with him.
Every single care assistant was amazing they not only made my stepdad feel welcome, but us as a family too! They all make a great cup of tea and I got one every visit! The care my stepdad received was first-class.

The care home deserves to have an 'outstanding' rating!

Park View have worked wonders with my father. He came to the home from living on his own. He was depressed, withdrawn and not used to social contact. Within a week he was much brighter and happier and interacting well with the staff and other residents. The staff have worked very hard to make him welcome and to integrate him into life as a resident, nothing is too much trouble. They keep me up to date with regular messages.

Parkview staff impressed and reassured me and my family with the excellent care they provided for my father-in-law in the last months of his life.
Staff balanced his wishes and needs (which were not always aligned) with sensitivity and skill.

It meant so much to know that he was cared for with compassion and warmth when we were not with him.

My mum's stay in Park View was so lovely and couldn't fault it at all.
The staff were all so kind, caring, and so thoughtful towards my mum.

My mum was transferred to Park View to receive end-of-life care. Unfortunately, she died 2 days later. Although we had such a short time to experience Park View, we were so impressed by everything that was done, both for Mum and ourselves. The home is modern, bright and clean, the facilities excellent and no words can describe the wonderful staff.

Mu was treated with utmost care and dignity and the compassion shown to us was incredible. I would have no hesitation in recommending Park View.

From our very first visit to having a look around, we had a warm feeling that our loved one would be well cared for. Throughout our loved ones' stay, the care and attention to detail have been simply the best we could have asked for. All the staff involved have been excellent through the ups and downs and we've been able to have a chat, and nothing was too much trouble, whatever we asked for. Thank you once again. You have helped us through a very difficult time.

My nan came to this lovely home where she spent the last four months of her life before she sadly passed away yesterday.
Honestly, we can't thank all the staff who cared for her enough, they were kind, caring and nothing was too much trouble. They have been supportive of our family throughout and especially now.
The only downfall is that we wish we had found this care home sooner.
We certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Thank you so much.

I am writing this as a resident's wife, so I really did not go to visit my husband as I was on holiday, but the reviews I received from family and friends who did say my husband was very well looked after and that the food was very good. What I saw of the home was that it was very good and well-run. Before I put him in the home I asked around and was assured it was one of the best care homes around. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again for respite if I needed it, but for permanent residence, I'm afraid I could not afford it.

Park View is outstanding. From settling my aunt into a new care home in a compassionate way, recognising the impact of her dementia. The staff were professional, knowledgable and kind at all times - they built a bond and rapport that added real quality to my aunt's life.

They did not target the small or basic aspects of care which are so important. Their end-of-life care was exemplary, at every different level and I have nothing but praise and admiration for each and every one of them.

Reply from Emma Mackenzie-Bedford, Manager at Park View Care Home

Thank you for your kind words. It was such a privilege to look after your aunt and she will be very much missed by us all at the home. We learnt so much from her and she was fascinated by how much training had changed from when she trained as a nurse.

My mum only had a week in this lovely home before she died, but in that week she had exceptional care. Nothing was too much trouble. She had a beautiful room, and the staff took great care in feeding her and helping her drink. Mum has dementia and was in the end-of-life stage by the time she was moved to Park View. I just wish she had had longer there. Lovely staff and at every stage her care was explained to us. She was made comfortable at the end and we, as family, were to be involved in all decisions about her care.
