Lastly, thank you to each and every member of staff at Manton Heights for your care, compassion and support throughout such a sad and difficult time for our family. We are indebted to Manton Heights for the excellent care we have received and would recommend them to anyone needing care beyond the family.
She has been a resident in the Maulden Dementia Unit for the last 8/9 months. The care she has received has been exemplary. On arrival from another local care home, her condition and demeanour actually improved. She calmed down and was back
Her passing was thankfully speedy, dignified and peaceful and this was in no small measure due to the carers and assistants. 48 hours before her death, she had been on one of the units trips out to Milton Keynes to see the Christmas shops, which she enjoyed immensely.
Leaving her room for the last time was difficult, but the sympathy, empathy and sheer consideration for myself and my wife made the whole process a great deal easier. I shall always be grateful to the staff from top to bottom all of whom showed the best in human kindness at a difficult time.
I have experience of other care homes for other relatives and can thoroughly recommend Manton Heights.
