I would like to thank one lady in particular and all the staff for making my dad's transfer to Monkscroft Care Centre so easy.

Dad has settled into his new home and is feeling comfortable and at peace there.

It has been a pleasure and a relief to see Mum settle and relax into Monkscroft. She is so well cared for and looked after and her individual needs recognised.
The arranged activities have aided Mum in reconnecting with others and finding enjoyment, especially the activities with animals and music.
This is a home where people matter. Mum's unique character is recognised and her medical needs promptly and efficiently dealt with.

Thank you Monkscroft.

Even though Monkscroft Care Centre came highly recommended my husband and I were hoping that we were doing the right thing. My family lived too far away to help and I was exhausted after 4 weeks as my husband couldn't walk.

However, after a few days, we knew we had made the right decision. It's all we hoped for.

We as a family have been extremely impressed by Monkscroft Care Home and everything that has happened there. The home is like a five-star hotel in appearance and quality of service. The staff are devoted and so very caring.
They are supportive to the whole family and the standard of care and cleanliness is beyond reproach.

This home is a centre of excellence in every way.

My father has been at Monkscroft Care Centre since June 2018. The care he has received here has been second to none particularly in contrast to the previous home he was in. For the last week, my father has been under palliative care provided by staff; myself and my family couldn't be looked after more considerately than the staff have been doing - I can't thank them enough.

This is an amazing home. I have nothing but praise the way my father has been cared for. The physical environment is perfect and the couldn't be nicer or do anything more than they do. I think either the training or recruitment of staff is excellent. Everyone from cleaner, carers to managers are amazing. Thank you.

The management and care teams helped my father through the transition from living in his own home to requiring professional care.

This at a time when he had a fall injury and operation. They could not have been kinder, more professional or more helpful and flexible to my father or family and friends.

The staff are very professional and competent with additional compassion and a great understanding of each individual resident.
My mother wasn't well recently and they kept us well informed and enabled us, as a family, to work with them in the decision making process. I notice when I visit how attentive they are and appear to work well as a team.

I am so grateful for their caring approach.

My husband was in the care of Monkscroft Centre for three months. Words are very difficult at this time; their care, understanding and love for my husband, especially when his sight failed, was so overwhelming. All our questions were answered however many times we 'worried' them - everything possible was always done for him and our own personal welfare was outstanding.

My husband was so fortunate to have been cared for by an amazing team - please give them the highest award you can offer - God bless.

I am always delighted to visit my friend in Monkscroft where he has been resident since spring 2017 with enduring arthritis and dementia. The facilities are excellent. The staff are invariably helpful, friendly and efficient. In the course of my ministry, I visit many care homes but Monkscroft is the one I would recommend first in this locality.

When we were told that my father would have to leave the care home he was in, the management at Monkscroft gave us invaluable time and support when they came to assess my father with a view to accommodating him at Monkscroft. Since his move to Monkscroft, the team have continued to impress me. They have gone to great lengths to provide a care plan that accommodates his personality and preference for activity - even buying blow-up footballs to play football with him, and walking him down to the shops. They have also sourced photographs of him during his rugby playing days (he played for England) and printed and laminated them. They have a wonderful, caring attitude and are always ready to distract and occupy him outside of planned activities. I trust the staff to give me honest feedback about how my father is doing and they never just say 'he's fine' - they are able to give detailed reports. The management team are highly committed and genuine.

We are so happy with the care that Dad receives at Monkscroft Care Centre. Everyone is so kind and caring. Dad is very happy and enjoys all the activities that are put on for the residents. If anyone is unsure about putting family members in Monkscroft Care Centre I would say "do it" - Dad's quality of life is so much better here. We are able to enjoy visiting him and seeing him in such a happy environment.
