My sister has been a resident of Lake View for 6 years. She is currently at end of life with Alzheimers. In all of the years she has been at the home she has been treated with utmost kindness and the best of care. When she was able to eat the food was of the best quality, all activities are well planned and communication with staff has always been excellent. I cannot praise the staff enough for their care and the comfort they provide to my sister at this last stage of her life. Lake View gives me peace of mind that she is well cared for. It is a wonderful care home.
Thank you for sharing such heartfelt feedback. We're delighted to hear your sister has received such kind and compassionate care over the years. It means so much to know our team has provided comfort, support and peace of mind during this important time.

My mother has been a resident in the home for more than three years. During recent weeks due to a decline in her health, she has required more specialised care. The care team have carried this out with much kindness and compassion. I have also found the management team have been most helpful, when I have needed their assistance over recent weeks.
Thank you for taking the time to share this thoughtful feedback. It is heartening to hear that, as your mother's needs have changed, our team has provided specialised care with kindness and compassion. We're also pleased the management team has been supportive during this time.

Lake View care home in Telford is absolutely lovely. Very clean and bright. Mum couldn't be in a better place. She is extremely well cared for. Good food and plenty to do. Staff are lovely and helpful. Can't fault the place at all. I enjoy visiting her.

My mum is a resident at the home with dementia. She has settled in very quickly and knows the staff faces, she sometimes forgets names. We were able to bring her own TV, plants, ornaments, pictures and photos which are in her room this has made her settle more easily. The staff on the 2nd floor are all lovely, they interact with her and also welcome any family members when they visit, they even know our names which is nice. There are lots of activities organised by the home, unfortunately mum doesn't like joining in. The only moan from mum is 'they keep giving me too much food to eat' which is not a criticism , she enjoys eating in the lounge with the other residents and in her own room, it's nice for her to have options when she's not feeling up to it. I would have no hesitation is recommending this home for anyone who wants their loved ones to be cared for, knowing they are in safe hands which gives the family piece of mind.

My mum moved into Lake View in April as a full time resident. I was very anxious moving mum into care, but the transition has been made so much easier by the support and care mum is receiving. She has settled in really quickly and is very happy. Staff at Lake View have made our family feel very welcome when we visit and are happy to help if we have any questions. My Mum is resident at Lake view care home. The care provided is first class, nothing is too much trouble. My mother spent the final 20 months of her life at Lake View, during which time she was extremely happy and very well looked after. All staff who came in to contact with mum had a cheery word which made her feel at home; indeed she referred to Lake View as her home. We were so happy that she was at Lake View, in the knowledge that she was safe, secure and happy.
The staff always went that extra mile to provide fulfilling activities for all residents and mum was very happy to attend the residents meetings in the knowledge that her suggestions were listened to and being taken into account.
We are so very grateful to all staff at Lake View for their unbelievable care, love and professionalism. Thank you to all staff, both day and night staff, who enabled her to feel safe and secure to the end. We will always remember the dignity and respect shown to mum at her passing.

This home is outstanding. My grandad needed emergency respite care and the home manager went above and beyond to assess and offer comfort and reassurance to the whole family making the process much easier and less painful. My grandad loves the home, believes he's treated like a king and nothing is ever too much for the amazing staff that are a credit to the home. My family are forever greatful
