From day one, the staff and management have been excellent, nothing has been too much trouble. Th room mum is in is ideal. The food has been first class and catered for mum's needs. In the short time, mum has been here, her mobility has improved no end. This is due to the exercise activities and mum being able to move around freely with her walker. The gardens are lovely and being able to sit out in the sunshine is an added bonus.

Many thanks to all the staff at Lake View Care Home for the love and kindness that they show to all residents including my mum. Choosing a care home for a loved one is a hard task, choosing Lake View was and is a decision that I do not regret. Lovely rooms, caring staff, nice gardens, a range of activities inside and out. Makes a happy resident. All of our family would recommend Lake View, keep up the good work.

My godmother has been here for almost a year now and in this time, I have been treated like a member of their family. The management and staff are friendly and professional, on hand if any help is required. I have no negative comments to make about Lake View Care Home.

My mother has been welcomed by all the staff in this friendly care home. The staff are all caring and friendly. Communication with family is good and any problems soon sorted. Residents are treated with dignity.

However, there are less activities each week than we hoped for, although those that are provided are good. It would be nice to see daily activities to fill the time. Many residents sleep much of the time or sit in silence.

When Mum first came to Lakeview she was too nervous to come out of her room. The home staff were excellent spending time with Mum in her room getting to know her and eventually persuading her to join in the activities in the lounge. She now spends most days in the lounge with the other residents and feels at home there.
She needs help with most things and this is always provided by the staff with a smile.
Mum's room is comfortable and all areas of the building are clean and tidy.

Nobody really wants to live in a care home but if you have to Lakeview is as nice a place as you could hope for.

When I first walked into Lake View Residential Care Home just over a year ago when I was looking for a place for my mum. I was very impressed with not only the layout and feel of the home but also the staff's attitude. Many staff have changed however, all are friendly and give not only my mum but other residents, the care and support they all need which is varying and not an easy job at all. From the office to carers and all inbetween they make Lake View the home from home it needs to be for all the residents and their families.

I have been really impressed by the care my Grandma has received here. Her room is wonderfully clean and there are lots of activities to take part in if she wants. The staff all take a genuine interest in residents and it is obvious that they care.

My mum has been cared for really well by all the staff.
She is much better now that her medication is administered as and when required and she is checked overnight.
Unable to fault the care to date.

All the staff genuinely care about the residents.

Moving to Lake View has been fantastic for my grandfather. He has settled really well. The range of activities and choice means he is intellectually stimulated. His wellbeing has improved and the staff create a warm, welcoming, home-like atmosphere. He has told me that he feels so much happier here.
