Thank you for caring for my mum, she passed away on 31/01/19. We miss her so much, but I would like to say thank you for all the care you gave her, and the care you gave us at this unhappy time. Again. Many thanks to you all.

My father has recently passed away whilst in the care of Bowbridge Court. He had a wonderful time at the care home and was very well looked after and cared for. He loved the trips out and the entertainment. It was great to see dad enjoying his life again.

It is a tough decision putting a loved one into a care home but I had no regrets when I saw how much love and care was shown to him. The home always went the extra mile when the family visited to welcome them.

Thank you so much, Cherryl for taking the time to leave us a review.
It is lovely to hear how much your father enjoyed living with us here at Bowbridge Court. Your father was part of our family - a larger than life character who always had a smile on his face.

Very professional in dealing with my awkward relative and with us!
Smiley, knowledgeable and supportive, we felt staff were postive and very helpful.

The receptionist particularly informative, clearly loves the job and was seen to interact with residents with sensitivity and humour.

My Mum was a resident for 5 years until she passed away in March 2018, one of the first residents when the home opened.
During this time she was treated with respect, kindness, patience and understanding. She was well cared for and all her medical needs promptly attended to. She was treated as an individual and encouraged to make her own decisions but was given the support as was deemed appropriate and necessary as her dementia became worse.

The end of life care she received was exemplary. Not only was Mum supported but everyone gave a tremendous amount of love and support to my brother and I during this difficult time. Thank you.

If anyone had their choice they wouldn't want their loved ones to go into a care home but I would recommend Bowbridge Court for being a friendly, welcoming and secure home. They are always looking for ways to improve nd listen to constructive criticism and act upon it. I hope that people will visit and see for themselves that this is the place for their loved one to live.

My grandma lived at Bowbridge Court for nearly 5 years until she sadly recently passed away. She spent a very happy last few years there and the care she received was excellent. During the last 2 weeks of her life the care and attention she, and the whole family received, was exceptional. Our family visited my grandma all hours of the day and night and we were welcomed warmly each time. Our family cannot thank the staff at Bowbridge Court enough and would highly recommend.

My father spent the last year of his life in Bowbridge Court care home. He suffered from Parkinson's and a bad heart. At first he found it very difficult not being at home with my mother but he soon got to know the staff who treated him with patience and respect. Not only were they good to my father, but were also supportive to the rest of my family. As he deteriorated he was constantly being assessed so that he could be helped in every way possible, and nothing was too much trouble for his carers, who were always in tune with his needs. I was so thankful that he was able to keep his spirits up to the end.

My father said if he has to be in a home this (Bowbridge Court) is about as good as it gets. The staff and carers are very helpful and supportive. The food is good and entertainment, activities and trips out provide something for everyone.

It would be nice on good weather days to be able to access the garden from the lounge.

Hard working front-line staff, harassed but effective management, a good place to feel you're in when you visit (and that's tricky when all the residents are suffering from various forms of dementia). My wife is happy and unhappy as her condition takes her but that comes with the turf and the carers accept that even though, sometimes, it's difficult for me.

I consider (and have said so) I am very lucky to have found this home for my husband. I visit him regularly and leave knowing that he is being well cared for. There is a lovely, friendly and peaceful atmosphere which can be felt on entry. The staff refer to residents and visiting relatives as 'our family' and that is how it feels.

Experience has been good in all respects. Admission was to a timescale that suited and was flexible. The room and building generally were clean, light and well spaced. May have benefitted from more external garden space, staff attentive, courteous and helpful.

Bowbridge Court always cared for my mum with great compassion and respect in regards to her dementia and Parkinson's disease. She was happy at Bowbridge Court and always sat with another resident and they formed a great friendship. The staff at Bowbridge Court are a caring bunch and do their job in an effective and professional manner. The management at Bowbridge Court is a little bit hit and miss, the turnover is horrendous. The only constant and brilliant manager was brought in as a troubleshooter and was fantastic, always working hard and being very hands on with residents, families, carers and staff. But alas, she was sent somewhere else - great tragedy! Also, the promised flowers at Mum's funeral failed to materialise which was disappointing.

The care home is staffed with really kind and caring people. They are always cheerful and ready to help answer questions and explain the situation even when busy. (They do seem a bit short staffed at times) The building is always clean and sweet smelling. During this hot sunny period, a cool air system would be useful but I guess rather expensive for infrequent use. Very impressed that a special bed was provided for mum-in-law as soon as she needed one. Even the food looks and smells really appetising- the ladies here are thriving on it! Many thanks for all your help.

Spotless home. Gardens safe and well kept. Staff always friendly and caring for older folk. Food good though teas a bit monotonous. This home is a miracle answer to our problem of caring for Alzheimer's. The staff are really caring towards visitors - super welcome, tea or coffee. Wish we could afford a home like this in South Africa.

It has been very good to visit my sister-in-law and see the good care she is receiving. A beautiful home with people (these I have met) who really care and have patience and a lovely manner in dealing with patients. I am only visiting for a few weeks whilst on holiday from overseas, so my experience is only brief. Some of my ticks may not be in the boxes I would have ticked had my experience been over a longer period. But I have been very impressed on the whole that my sister-in-law is receiving good care where she is. Maybe more attention could be paid to her clothing, her trousers have been falling round her ankles as she has lost weight. I don't know whose responsibility that is though. Thank you for all you are doing to help my brother and his wife at this time. God bless you.
