Very happy with the care my Mum gets in Bowbridge Court. Find friendly carers, lovely clean place, lovely food. My Mum has vascular dementia and is very happy and settled there. We as a family are very happy and at ease with the place and the care.

Bowbridge Court always cared for my mum with great compassion and respect in regards to her dementia and Parkinson's disease. She was happy at Bowbridge Court and always sat with another resident and they formed a great friendship. The staff at Bowbridge Court are a caring bunch and do their job in
an effective and professional manner. The management at Bowbridge Court is a little bit hit and miss, the turnover is horrendous. The only constant and brilliant manager was brought in as a troubleshooter and was fantastic, always working hard and being very hands on with residents, families, carers and staff. But alas, she was sent somewhere else - great tragedy! Also, the promised flowers at Mum's funeral failed to materialise which was disappointing.

The care home is staffed with really kind and caring people. They are always cheerful and ready to help answer questions and explain the situation even when busy. (They do seem a bit short staffed at times) The building is always clean and sweet smelling. During this hot sunny period, a cool air system
would be useful but I guess rather expensive for infrequent use. Very impressed that a special bed was provided for mum-in-law as soon as she needed one. Even the food looks and smells really appetising- the ladies here are thriving on it! Many thanks for all your help.

Spotless home. Gardens safe and well kept. Staff always friendly and caring for older folk. Food good though teas a bit monotonous. This home is a miracle answer to our problem of caring for Alzheimer's. The staff are really caring towards visitors - super welcome, tea or coffee. Wish we could afford

It has been very good to visit my sister-in-law and see the good care she is receiving. A beautiful home with people (these I have met) who really care and have patience and a lovely manner in dealing with patients. I am only visiting for a few weeks whilst on holiday from overseas, so my experience
is only brief. Some of my ticks may not be in the boxes I would have ticked had my experience been over a longer period. But I have been very impressed on the whole that my sister-in-law is receiving good care where she is. Maybe more attention could be paid to her clothing, her trousers have been falling round her ankles as she has lost weight. I don't know whose responsibility that is though. Thank you for all you are doing to help my brother and his wife at this time. God bless you.

My family and I had a nice visit with my great aunt. We were able to go to a private space to talk with her and a member of the staff brought us tea and biscuits. Everyone we spoke with at the home was friendly and genuinely cared about the residents.

My mother has been at Bowbridge Court for almost three years and as her health and ability to move herself has deteriorated, the overall care form the staff has been very good. Special equipment has been provided when needed and every consideration has been given to try and make her as comfortable as
possible. In difficult and distressing situation, mum has been treated with dignity and compassion. As a relative visiting the home, I am always made most welcome and the management have been very supportive.

I have no qualms about the care that my mother has received over the last couple of years at Bowbridge Court. There is always a pleasant atmosphere and the room is clean and fresh. It matters that there is no smell - unlike other homes in my experience. The management and staff are being very supportive
in what is proving to be a very difficult situation for all concerned.

My 97 year old father has been in Bowbridge Court since the end of January and sadly passed away but the last few weeks of his life were made so comfortable by all the staff. I was kept so well informed of every situation and I know that everyone involved with his care gave him so much love and attention
way beyond their remit. I can't thank them all enough for their consideration and care and for allowing my dad the dignity and compassion which each and everyone gave him. Thank you.

I visited my friend many times between last summer until April 2016. I found the home to be welcoming, clean and very well equipped and the staff are very friendly caring and helpful and working with the patients over and beyond the call of duty.

The carers and the care are excellent but more staff are needed, staff work very hard and are very kind, activities are very poor residents are bored. Overall the care is excellent, carers great, would I stop there myself?

The care is very good and the carers are excellent but they are run off their feet at certain times of the day. There could be more staff. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We have put "satisfactory" for the activities as we feel there could be more things to do. Also communication of activities
could be better as my mother has sometimes missed activities because we haven't been told about them. Overall we are very pleased with her care. The above are small points and we would recommend the care home.

This is the second review that I have placed for this Carehome, simply because my previous review was for when a 97 year old man was resident there, but he sadly has now passed away. My reason for now writing this review, is to say that the staff here, from the Management to the Auxilaries are some
of the most caring and professional that I have ever come across.
My wife and I were kept fully informed of his condition health wise, and right to the very end, his carers kept him immaculate, even down to applying aftershave once he had been shaved. His room was kept very clean and always had a delightful smell to it, so unlike many other carehomes.
Staff at Bowbridge Court were simply superb, and I am very aware that some of them stayed beyond their allocated work time, just to see that he was comfortable and in no pain.
This is a Carehome that is managed and run by those who really care for their residents, and my sincere thanks go to all of them.

I have been a full time carer for my mother for five years. Sadly her care needs became too great for me to manage at home. It was not easy for me to give the responsibility for her care to others. However, I believe mum and I to be fortunate, she is now a resident at Bowbridge Court, Newark.

every confidence that the staff and management at Bowbridge Court, care for my mother to a high standard and I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

My mother who was visiting from Germany, sought an emergency admission into Bowbridge Court after a far from satisfactory two nights in the first care home we'd arranged for her to stay in. One lady was incredibly helpful and bent over backwards to accommodate her. Bowbridge Court admitted my mum that
same evening and the staff were friendly, attentive and extremely welcoming. My mum felt secure and relaxed after her previous bad experience and thoroughly enjoyed her stay with them. She will come again! :)
