Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each
individual. One bed suite rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded
Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I can only praise the staff at Gracewell of Frome. The residents, including my mother, are well cared for, the food is good, the standards of cleanliness exceptionally high and the atmosphere welcoming. Like many people, I was worried about moving my mother into a care home but to see how settled and
happy she is, without becoming institutionalised, has put my mind at rest. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gracewell of Frome to others looking for a safe and secure place for their relatives.

My mum has lived here for just over 3 years now. She has vascular dementia with Alzheimer's and consequently, life and relationships can be a struggle. The staff are very caring and know her so well, that they can ensure that her life is a happy and comfortable one. They know her changing behaviours
and the reasons for these so they can prevent difficulties arising and upsets happening. She trusts them which is extremely important. Her physical needs are well met too and the nursing care is very good.
I visited a lot of care homes before I chose Rossetti House, but there was honestly no contest and my choice was an easy one. We are always made to feel very welcome and the staff care for my wellbeing too, recognising when I am sad due to my mum's cruel condition. The support that I have received has been really important in helping me to come to terms with my mum's condition and this new chapter in her (and my) life.

Gracewell (Frome) is friendly and welcoming. All of the staff, medical and administrative, are extremely helpful. The building, residents' rooms and facilities are really excellent. Super clean. The overall standard of this home is exceptionally good. The staff are fantastic and very caring, treating people with the dignity they deserve. My father has been a resident for three years now and has settled in very well. He is fed well and I feel is now safe and cared for he has a single lovely downstairs ensuite room with french doors opening outside which will be lovely when the weather warms up. There is a cinema room where he has enjoyed
watching the rugby. It is bright airy surroundings which always smells clean!

My father-in-law passed away this month after nearly 3 years of absolutely super care from Gracewell of From. The last two years, in particular, have been of ever-increasing standards. The staff are extremely caring with genuine concern and interest in the welfare of their patients. I know they absolutely
adored him. His death in the home was dealt with great compassion and I will be eternally grateful with the love and dignity they gave to him in the last year of his life.

Couldn't have wished for a better home for my 88-year-old nan. Everyone was so welcoming and caring, especially one who treated us like family and made a very sad situation feel like a positive move. My nan, within 3 days said she never wants to leave and that this is now her home. The care we couldn't
fault and the food is very varied and good quality. Gracewell really has thought of everything to suit everyone from the decor to the entertainment and we would thoroughly recommend this to everyone. I have my nan back.

Mum was only in Gracewell of Frome for 4 weeks as she was terminally ill. We cannot fault the care she was given and the compassion the nursing team gave to mum, family and friends who came to visit. Thank you and keep up the good work.

The manager absolutely great. Kind, caring and helps on a personal level, she really cares. Nursing staff all very kind and caring. Surroundings are bright and cheerful. Having visited over 12 care homes this one was the best. I wanted the best for my mum. I feel safe knowing she is being well cared
for even when she is being difficult!

My mother has been at Gracewell of Frome for 17 months. I cannot fault the care she has been given. All staff, nurses and careers are kind, patient and caring and are respectful to my mum.
Activities are good, lots of music, singing, which mum responds to although having dementia soon forgets but really
enjoys at the time. Also loves walks along the river and into town.
Food varied, if not on the menu they will sort. Even glass of wine if wanted - think will book my place now??


You are always given warm welcome on arrival at home by reception staff.


In past have been worried about going away for holiday but feel less stressed now knowing mum is being well cared for.

The home is classed as luxury and compared to all others I have visited it certainly is, however, it's not really "luxury" it is how we should be looking after older people. The care home is very good, it still has it's staffing issues as does all the care sector but the impact on residents appears
minimal. The care staff are very caring and pride themselves in the engagement with service users. I work in the care sector (Head of care and support services Age UK) and can clearly see the difference in quality of this home compared to others.

Phil Vale

Job Title: General Manager

I’ve worked for some years in the care sector, including in care quality support roles. Prior to being General Manager here at Rossetti House, I was Head of Care at the home.


While there’s much to keep me busy in my job, by far my favourite part of the role is spending time with residents, particularly if we’re doing fun activities together. Enabling older people to enjoy life to the full is ultimately what each person who works here is passionate about – including me.


I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful Frome home very soon and introducing you to our passionate, caring and skilled team.
