Myself and the family are so pleased that we found Silvermere for Dad. The Staff are first class and very knowledgeable about his care needs, they have been so good at helping Dad settle in and have been very supportive of us too. We can't thank them enough.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that your dad has settled in well and that our team has been able to support both him and your family. Knowing that you feel confident and reassured means everything to us. Your kind words about our staff are truly appreciated and will be shared with the whole team. It's a privilege to care for your dad.
From the very first interaction with Silvermere the staff have been welcoming and supportive. They were happy to schedule show-around visits and were very quick to carry out the assessment and offer a place. Since moving in, the staff have been brilliant, they understand what is required and are very approachable. Thank you for making a difficult time such an easy and seamless process.
We understand that moving into a care home can be a difficult and emotional time, and it is reassuring to know that our team helped make the...
We had to find a care home quickly so my sister could be discharged from hospital and settled before Christmas. We visited several and were really struck from our initial meeting by the feeling of warmth within the home as we were walking around. All the support in helping us sort things out moving her from the hospital to becoming a resident was greatly appreciated. The difference we have seen in our sister in a few short weeks is vast which is a result of: getting her medication on time, lots to do, being made to feel welcome by everyone (staff and residents), good food and the feeling of reassurance she now has if she feels unwell at any time of day or night! The staff can't do enough to help her (and us) make sure she feels at home. She already wishes she'd moved in months ago! The relief for us not having to worry about what the next phone call will bring has been huge. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing such a lovely review. We're delighted to hear how well your sister has settled in and that the move has brought comfort to both her and your family. Knowing she feels welcomed, supported, and reassured day and night means so much to our team. We're thrilled to have her as part of the Silvermere community.
The warmth and respect from staff towards residents is exemplary. I am so impressed by the quality of interactions I have observed. Residents are treated equally and as individuals. There is a bonhomie that makes Silvermere a very pleasant place to be, as a visitor and as a resident. The food is delicious and plentiful. Activities are varied and a real effort is made to get to know the residents and their likes and dislikes.
Thank you so much for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that the warmth and respect shown by our team has stood out to you - creating genuine, individual connections with our residents is at the heart of everything we do at Silvermere.
It's wonderful to know that the...
My mum came to Silvermere for respite care and from the first enquiry we made until the day she went back home, the service from everyone at Silvermere has been fantastic. We couldn't have picked a better place to look after mum. The staff, to a person, are amazing. They made mum feel welcome and helped get her through what was a stressful time. The home is clean and tidy, the food looks and smells great (and mum said it tasted good too) and there was a wide variety of entertainment on offer.
Should we ever require care again, be it respite or something more permanent, I wouldn't hesitate to choose Silvermere.
Thank you so much for sharing this thoughtful review. I'm delighted to hear that from your first enquiry through to Mum's return home, you felt fully supported - and I'll be sure to pass your kind words to our care, hospitality, and activities teams who helped make her stay welcoming during a...
My dad has been made to feel at home very quickly and easily. The staff are friendly, caring and fun to be with. Dad loves the activities - especially singing! The dog fashion show was a fun engaging event for residents and family.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that your dad has settled in so quickly and feels at home. It's wonderful to know he's enjoying the activities, especially the singing sessions! His enthusiasm brings such joy to the team and fellow residents alike. And we're...
Silvermere looked after my father for nearly 3 years and made his final years comfortable and full of interest. I am very glad that he had their support up to the end.

I have been very happy here at Silvermere. Everybody has been friendly, cheerful and all with a smile on their face. I have enjoyed the Bingo, and the entertainers and the film shows; served with tea and cakes half way through. The managers have been helpful.
Thank you for your genuine feedback , we are glad you are happy with the care and support we provided to you during your time with us .
Silvermere is an excellent care home with both myself and my wife being residents. Care for those suffering from dementia is outstanding as this tragic disease is so difficult to manage with various conditions. The staff are always caring thoughtful and gentle in spite of the many challenges they often face. As with any organisation there are occasional issues but these are always responded to quickly and carefully either by the senior management or staff when asked.. I could not recommend this Care Home highly enough.
Thank you for your inspiring and motivating feedback. You have been an amazing resident and we are happy to continue to care for both of you to the best of our ability.Once again , thank you for your good feedback

The workers and The Management trained very well How to deal with visitors and The patients- for future position. Thank You.
Thank you very much for your feedback and we are glad that you had a good experience at Silvermere
My mother has been a resident at Silvermere for over 11 years (she moved there in August 2013). We have had numerous managers and staff members over that time, some have been better than others. The current manager has really elevated the attitude and ethos of Silvermere. Both the residents and staff members seem so much more relaxed and happy. She is a terrific manager. We all hope she stays!
Thank you so much for taking the time to complete a review and thank you for the beautiful comment. I can reassure you that there will be stability in the management team and we will continue to ensure that all our residents receive the best care and treatment that will not just improve their own...
My mum is very happy here. She has a lovely room and the staff are very caring and responsive. The new general manager is lovely and very approachable. She mixes well with the residents and is getting to know them all and their needs.
I had a fall in my house and fell and broke my collarbone. I was living on my own. My neighbours came and helped me. I went to the hospital and my children decided to bring me to Silvermere. When I came here it has all been good. I have nothing but praise to give the home. The new manager has been a great help and I am happy.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We will continue to ensure that you have the best experience at Silvermere Care Home.
It's a first-class care home. The staff is very helpful and I enjoyed the meals here. I would surely recommend this care home to all my friends. I feel that it was the right decision that I made to come to Silvermere for my stay and I feel now that I have got my strength back.
Thank you very much for your review. We will continue to build on top of the outstanding service you received at Silvermere Care Home. We are very glad that your experience at Silvermere has helped you to regain your strength. And we are also mostly grateful for the positive feedback about the food.Once again, thank you for reviewing us, we really appreciate your feedback.
I have noticed a huge improvement in the general atmosphere here. In the past couple of weeks, so much more going on. Happy atmosphere, more treats in the kitchen all since a particular someone has arrived!
Thank you so much for your review, we are very happy that you have noticed a remarkable change and vibrant atmosphere in Silvermere. We really appreciate your feedback.
Before choosing Silvermere, I thoroughly researched care homes for my Mum, visiting over 8 facilities that often failed CQC inspections. Discovering Silvermere was a relief as it surpassed others in quality and affordability. My Mum moved in in 2013 and received exceptional care, feeling happy and safe due to the dedicated staff's efforts. They improved her well-being through proper medication and care and we're always in close communication with me about everything. The friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and high cleanliness standards at Silvermere distinguished it. When my blind Uncle needed care, Silvermere provided excellent support. Both my Mum and Uncle valued the caring staff, forming genuine deep relationships. My strong bond with the staff and residents at Silvermere over the years made them feel like a second family, with my Mum preferring the vibrant life there over a live-in carer at her home due to the enriching experiences and joy found at Silvermere.
Dear Bunny, Thank you so much for taking time to review us. We are very pleased to know that you felt that your mum and uncle received exceptional care at Silvermere.
After viewing various local care homes, Silvermere stood out to us as the best fit for my grandmother. Moving her to a care home was never something we thought would happen, but the staff at Silvermere made the transition as smooth as possible for her. Staff are kind, warm and friendly and very knowledgable. There is a real sense of community with residents being able to socialise and settle at their own pace with support. Nothing is too much trouble. They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that my grandma has felt safe and looked after and supported us as a family too. The standard of upkeep in the home by far outweighs anywhere else. It has a homely feel and is maintained to an exceptional standard. The outlook on the grounds and the lake is exceptional and provides a lovely haven for residents to sit and enjoy the outside environment. Christmas and birthdays residents are always made to feel that extra bit special.
I had to find a care home quickly, without an appointment I decided to call into Silvermere. The receptionist directed me straight through to the general manager, immediately I felt reassured, the cup of tea also helped. My first question was I think I need to book some respite care, what do I do? The general manager asked me about the situation and let me talk. I left over two hours later with a clear plan in place, including an assessment the following day. I was there four days later settling in a new resident, starting with fish and chips for lunch - perfect.
