Maids Moreton Hall

My mother and stepfather are both fairly new to the home. They are finding the transition from their own home very difficult. Despite this, the staff are upbeat and very caring. The facilities are excellent and the best we have seen in the area. The only slight downside is that sometimes the menus do not match the high standards set by the staff and the facilities.

Right from the start of our first visit, we were treated with genuine kindness and made to feel welcome. We were given lots of information to help make the difficult decision of putting our father in a home. All the staff are amazing, they are thoughtful, kind and uplifting. The overall feel of the home is like walking into a hotel. The decor is tasteful and every room is light. We were also very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole building. The decision was hard but our minds are at ease knowing our father is safe and in the best place possible.

I have been here for 6 months. This is a pleasant care home to live in, the home is well organised; a reasonable range of activities are provided. Staff are pleasant and helpful; access to external bodies (e.g bridge club in the local town) access to the close-by local church/chapel is good, and local residents make us welcome to a weekly discussion session. Staff are pleasant and helpful, outings are arranged. Residents meetings have increased recently, with staff interaction appropriate.

I would recommend this care home, as it feel like home. The staff cannot do enough for you and everyone seems very happy and friendly. The surroundings are excellent.

A great home, no complaints. Genuine staff who 'care' and well led. More a hotel than a care home.

I have only been here a short time but find the rooms very comfortable and the carers do an excellent job looking after the residents.

The standard of care provided is exceptional. Residents suffering from dementia are treated with dignity and kindness. Staff know residents and their visitors well and I am always made to feel welcome. I am also kept very well informed about her health. She was previously in another care home in Stratford Upon Avon where she felt trapped but at Maids Moreton she is kept safe and thinks she is in a hotel not an institution.

My brother was treated with the greatest of care and concern. His interests were always met. The nurses and staff gave my brother such a wonderful attention that my family will always be grateful. We have many happy memories of the time my brother was a patient at Maids Moreton.

Thanks to all the staff for all their help and support over the last three years for looking after my father. We could not have asked for more.

This is a very pleasant, friendly, caring and efficient home. More like a four star hotel! They have looked after my mother excellently, especially after she broke her hip in a fall. She was so pleased to go back there from the hospital. The food is good and there is plenty of entertainment and activities. Rooms could be a little bigger, perhaps, but have all the facilities needed including wifi and nicely decorated.

A very smart and clean home with efficient and friendly staff. The room is comfortable and can be personalised with their own possessions. There is a lot of activities on offer but some of the residents do sit around gazing into space. They could perhaps need some encouragement. However the staff do make a conscious effort to include them.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The home is always clean and smells fresh. My aunt always seems happy. Plenty of activities for residents. Good communication around my aunt's welfare. The quality of food and beverages is excellent.

Very calm and peaceful surroundings and staff helpful and cheerful. Food very good having sampled when i had lunch with my husband on a couple of occasions. Ease of visiting by all my family.

A very good home with great care and friendly staff, very clean and tidy and beautiful gardens. Excellent staff and excellent care given to all residents.

Wonderful care for our mother over the last 2 weeks. Constant 24/7 care and love. Warm and welcoming to friends and relatives. Good food. Entertainment provided is fun and appropriate. Bistro provides a glass of wine for residents and guests on request!
