Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each

Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

This is a very pleasant, friendly, caring and efficient home. More like a four star hotel! They have looked after my mother excellently, especially after she broke her hip in a fall. She was so pleased to go back there from the hospital. The food is good and there is plenty of entertainment and activities.
Rooms could be a little bigger, perhaps, but have all the facilities needed including wifi and nicely decorated.

A very smart and clean home with efficient and friendly staff. The room is comfortable and can be personalised with their own possessions. There is a lot of activities on offer but some of the residents do sit around gazing into space. They could perhaps need some encouragement. However the staff do
make a conscious effort to include them.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The home is always clean and smells fresh. My aunt always seems happy. Plenty of activities for residents. Good communication around my aunt's welfare. The quality of food and beverages is excellent.

Wonderful care for our mother over the last 2 weeks. Constant 24/7 care and love. Warm and welcoming to friends and relatives. Good food. Entertainment provided is fun and appropriate. Bistro provides a glass of wine for residents and guests on request!

Faith Allen

Job Title: Home Manager

I completed my nurse training at Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College in 2006 and did postgraduate training at Brighton University.


I began working for Care UK as a carer in 2000, and I found it to be an enjoyable experience where I learned so much. It was what persuaded me to follow a nursing career. I had many great years working in care homes and had served as a Deputy Manager since 2019.


In order to fulfil my role, it’s important to be a keen listener and to be approachable, empathetic and responsive to enquiries. You must be able to receive critiques and complete action plans too, and continuously update your skills and knowledge.


My favourite part of the day is my walk around. It’s a great opportunity to interact with colleagues and residents, and to have a quick overview of the home and the environment. I look forward to continuing to get to know the residents and assisting with risk assessments and care planning, so that care is delivered to an excellent standard.


I love writing poems and songs outside of work, and I enjoy singing and dancing too. I also like to spend time walking in the park and driving around the country.
