My relative has settled very well into Duke's Court. She feels safe and enjoys the day-to-day activities the home puts on. The food is a big hit with her and these staff are very caring towards her. The home is very clean and when we leave her we know she is in good hands which is a relief.

I can’t thank the Duke’s Court team enough for all they do for my nan. The care is exemplary from her carers, senior careers, entertainment staff, admin staff and reception. A friendly team that is always willing to go the extra mile. The food is second to none, and I wouldn’t trust anywhere else with my nan’s care. I look forward to coming to visit and seeing the smile on my nan’s face is priceless! I have had no interaction with the new manager; however, she has a wonderful team behind her, which I really hope are praised for the wonderful work they do.

My grandad came to Dukes Court before Christmas for some respite, however has stayed as he loved it so much. He settled in straight away, and always tells us how much of a lovely time he is having. Having children, I am unable to visit as much as I’d like. So the regular updates on social media are so lovely to see. I’ve never seen my grandad look so happy. Thank you to all of you there!

Outstanding commitment from staff. The home is beautiful, but if I'm being honest, it is the staff, their attitudes, their commitment, smiles and nature that make this home so special. I would work there, but let's face it, caring is hard work, and you have to have a 'special' something - which they indeed have.
My nan is very happy; of course, she misses her home and independence, but the transition was made easy. She has made some lovely friends, gets a spa-like bath experience, (hasn't had for years), and has the choice of different activities.
Nan has all her marbles (maybe a few of mine too!), so I know for sure it's a great place with genuine people. It's not a facade! Personally, I think we are all a little terrified of sending loved ones to homes. But don't worry.

I know she is comfortable, cared for, safe and not lonely. So I give it a worthy five stars.

After a short and unsatisfactory stay in another care home, our mum came to Dukes Court in January this year. From our first visit to the day Mum moved in we knew we had found the perfect place, where she would receive great care in a lovely setting and where residents and their families are all treated with respect, dignity and love.

In these 11 months the team have just gone from strength to strength and we genuinely cannot fault the whole experience from warmth, comfort, hygiene, 24 hour personal care and the most amazing attention to day to day activities that results in a great atmosphere at all times. From all of our family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We viewed approximately eleven care homes before deciding Dukes Court was best suited to Mum's needs. The first impression was welcoming and friendly. The staff are all very kind, considerate and caring for residents needs and wellbeing. As a family we are so happy that Mum is happy in her surroundings now with lots of friends and staff to tend to her needs and care.

The home is run to a very high standard. Good staff atmosphere and is mostly clean and tidy. The only thing we feel needs attention is the medical side. Although it is not totally in your control. The medication side is good but if there are ongoing problems such as eyes and hearing this seems to be lacking. My mother is having trouble with both.

Over a twelve-month period, my wife has been resident. During the long covid, it was difficult to visit easily and even more time was taken out was not good. In the time since I have noticed there hasn't as a routine, been much occupational therapy, rather time spent encouraging the resident to sit and often time are asleep.

Staff are really helpful and friendly very occasionally certain ones are abrupt and seem angry whether personal problems or staffing levels causing stress. Dad can be hard work but on the whole, it's because he's frustrated. He enjoys joining in and needs a lot of encouragement so it's lovely to see the different activities. He gets food options for his personal taste. The chef is kind and adapts the food choices.

I have been the home manager for 3 years now, and I am incredibly proud to be the Home Manager at Dukes Court and feel truly privileged to lead such a compassionate, dedicated, and talented team. Every day, we are committed to creating a home where residents feel safe, valued, respected, and supported to live life to the fullest. It is a privilege to be part of so many special moments and to make a positive difference to the lives of the people who call Dukes Court home.

With over 20 years of experience in health and social care, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, each of which has shaped my passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to ensuring that older people are treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, while being supported to maintain their independence and continue enjoying the things that matter most to them.

As Home Manager, my vision is to create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community where every resident feels a true sense of belonging. I firmly believe that outstanding care is built on meaningful relationships, genuine compassion, and taking the time to understand each individual. By getting to know our residents, their life stories, interests, preferences, and achievements, we are able to provide personalised care that celebrates who they are and supports them to continue living a fulfilling life.

Supporting and developing our team is something I am deeply passionate about. I believe that when colleagues feel valued, inspired, and empowered, they provide the very best care for our residents. Creating a positive, inclusive workplace where everyone feels appreciated is incredibly important to me, and I take great pride in fostering a culture of kindness, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Outside of work, I have a real passion for interior design and creating beautiful spaces. I also love travelling, experiencing different cultures, and discovering new places to eat with family and friends.

I look forward to welcoming you to Dukes Court and showing you everything that makes our home such a wonderful place to live, work, and visit. We are incredibly proud of the warm, friendly community we have created and would be delighted to welcome you into our Dukes Court family.
