Newly built Elsyng House Care Home is a purpose-built care home in Enfield, London that offers 75 individual, private en-suite rooms and provides the highest quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a five-star setting.

Nestled in amongst the trees in the residential conservation area of Forty Hill, Elsyng House is easily accessible from London and surrounding areas, and located in close proximity to the Enfield’s ‘Jewel in the Crown’, the historic Forty Hall Manor and Country Park.

The brand-new Enfield nursing home provides state-of-the-art facilities including a café bistro, cinema room, hair and beauty salon, barbers, multiple air-conditioned lounges, as well as a family room and quiet lounge and garden areas for residents and families to enjoy.

All of the facilities and services are included in the weekly fees, which gives you and your loved ones the peace of mind knowing that everything is taken care of, affording residents the freedom to explore and to enjoy the available hobbies and services.

It was a difficult decision to place dad into a care home. I viewed Elysng House and was impressed by the cleanliness of the place, the facilities on offer and most of all, the staff's kindness. The staff have been very understanding at this difficult time and are looking after dad very well.

Where to start?
Every member of staff from management, office, reception and all staff on Cherry (Floor 2) were exemplary. The care to us all, professionalism and appropriateness will stay with us forever. You allowed my dad to die in peace and with dignity. We felt very supported in this difficult

Generally, all the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The environment is very nice especially the communal cafe where usually residents/family/visitors sit and socialise. The coffee is gorgeous. There's a nice garden to sit outside that's easily accessible. Mum's room is a decent size,
decorated to a high standard and there's a nice feel to it and the entire home. The staff seem happy and sociable. The food is very nice too. I like the Resident Of The Day scheme where a resident is focused on.

My mum has received excellent care and is very content and happy. She has made some nice friends and the staff will go out of their way for her. The house is beautiful, everyone is very welcoming with an open-door policy. Lovely place to relax with my mum in the lounge or garden. I highly recommend

I had been researching care homes for my mother and visited three others before going to Elsyng House. The moment I walked into the home I felt reassured and knew that this was the best place for my mother. Most importantly residents are treated with care and respect and the staff are all professional
and super helpful from senior personnel to reception, catering and housekeeping. My mother had been in hospital for five months prior to being transferred to Elsyng and that period had been extremely difficult and stressful but since her move in July, I know I found the best home for her and that's a huge relief. Thank you.

Up to now no problems. All the staff are very nice. It's kept very clean around the home. I am very happy with all the people I mix with. I am happy to have company every day. My mother has recently moved here from another care home and the staff at Elsyng House made sure the whole transition process went very smoothly. All the staff seem very caring, compassionate and professional. The home is very clean, well staffed and always feels lively and sociable when I visit. My
mum settled in quicker than I expected and she appears happy and relaxed whenever we visit her. The floor manager is also extremely helpful, and organised and always has time to speak to us about any questions or concerns. Overall, this is an amazing and welcoming care home and my family is very happy that my mum is being so well cared for.

Elsyng House is justifiably rated as a 5-star care home and deserves the rating fully.
Everything the home does is for the care and well-being of its residents, from the brilliant staff who do the caring, to the staff behind the scenes (cleaners, hospitality, cooks, kitchen staff, management) who ensure
the residents have everything they need, from food to entertainment and from medications to having a great social platform within the home and also outside it - plenty of visits arranged weekly.

The home is a very clean modern building. From day one have felt very welcome. The staff are friendly and professional and very caring. My mother who has dementia is cared for exceptionally well I have no complaints. My mother is very happy as I feel are all the residents. My mother is being happy and

My father has been at Elstying House for over 2 years now. The care has always been exceptional, and the ethos of the home is excellent. They have a great entertainment schedule and the food is very good. The home itself is very well-kept. But it is the team who really make this a special place.

Reception - unfailingly welcoming and helpful. The floor my wife is on has no one with her specifically for her condition so she finds life quite difficult. With the sunny weather though she has benefitted from being out in the very garden, making friends who are intelligent and lucid. The hospitality
staff are outstanding. I would like to see more treatment given though I realise this condition has no immediate remedy - we can hope. The care staff work hard and stay cheerful in often difficult situations and circumstances. Thank you to them.

Mum has settled into Elsyng House well. We were very worried about how she would settle but it has gone better than expected. As mum has Alzheimer's disease she can find transition difficult but she seems happy and well cared for mum has joined in with activities and enjoys the company of others. Mum
has enjoyed attending the monthly mass.

My husband has been at Elsyng House for over 18 months. The team there have been extremely supportive and really taken the time to get to know us. From the carers to the hospitality team, management to healthcare professionals, nothing is too much to ask. They have regular meetings with relatives to
ensure the utmost service and care, taking on board feedback to help improve. My husband’s needs have increased over the time he has been there, which has been seamlessly adhered to. We are extremely grateful to the whole team and know that he is safe and well looked after.

I just wanted to pass on our thanks and appreciation to all the staff, starting from the lovely welcome we always received from the Receptionist and the other Receptionist. Mr M came to stay for palliative care and he found his wings on Friday and has gone to be reunited with his wife and friends.
I was very touched by the angel wings on his doors - a beautiful touch. All the staff have been nothing but hospitable, kind, and friendly and I know Mr M was in the best place for his last few weeks.
