All staff both clinical, admin & support are friendly helpful & do a good job. The care has been exemplary & I have no complaints. I have been a registered nurse for 42 years & have seen care of the elderly in many settings over the years. Folkestone Care Centre is how it should be done. My father is EoL & despite it being very distressing to see him deteriorate & I'm grateful that he is very comfortable & being well looked after. I have got to know the staff very well I visit every day & they have been very kind to me in what is an upsetting time. Thank you.

Our experience of your care home is excellent. There are plenty of things my mother could be involved in, however she chooses not to join in. We celebrated her 100th birthday last Saturday. The care home were so helpful, even making her a birthday cake.

Thank you for your kind words. Our team enjoy helping families create memories together and a 100th birthday is a very special milestone to celebrate!

My partner has been in Folkestone Care Centre since March, and he is finding it difficult to settle. But all the staff, from reception staff to carers/management, have helped myself and my partner to accept the change in our lives. He seems to be settling in slowly, but we have had so much support from the staff.

I am very pleased that this is the care home that I have chosen for my partner.

Every member of staff was polite and caring. Thoroughly enjoyed the bath that Donna helped me with; her care and attention was lovely. My only complaint was the ill patient that called all night and kept me awake.

The food was varied, but was a little too carbohydrate.

We appreciate the hard work and endeavour of the many staff, who make every effort to ensure a happy and contented home environment for the residents and their families and also the high standards in all aspects of the running of the home, and the maintaining of these standards, worthy of the 'good' rating by the CQC.

Wendy is certainly very happy here.

The team provided excellent support, care and understanding to my mum following her discharge from hospital.

Many elderly ladies with dementia would have found it difficult to settle into the care home without the dedicated care staff and activity team who did their best to welcome her and motivate her to the point she is now very settled.

My husband is very well cared for. All the staff are kind and considerate. The housekeeping staff are excellent. His room and bathroom are always spotless. I visit every day and have had no reason to complain. The food is tasty, the entertainment is great. I was impressed by the caring night staff when I stayed one night to be near my husband when he was seriously ill.

Both my grandmothers have stayed here. One sadly passed away a few years ago and the other is in residence now. I can honestly say that every time I have been in to the building the staff are impeccable. The building is immaculate and I cannot at all complain in any way about how both my grandmothers time at the care has been. I would 100% recommend the care home to anyone. Without sounding morbid I am aware that this will be the last place my grandmother will live before she passes but I don't think there would be a better place to see out her final years. The same could be said for my grandmother who passed. Her time at the care home was the best place for her and I cannot thank the staff enough

My mother has always received excellent care in the 18 months that she has been living at Folkestone Care Centre. The last month she has needed hospital treatment, and the staff have been wonderful in arranging this, providing excellent after-care and keeping the family very well informed. My mother regularly comments on the lovely, caring attitude of the staff.

I have got two family members, an uncle and my mother, at this care home, and before them, my mother-in-law, who has passed. She was treated with so much care and compassion that I chose this home again for my mother. It is the best I have ever experienced; the care, cleanliness, and the staff are top notch. I would recommend it to anyone who wants the best care for their family, as they go out of their way to accommodate your wishes.

My husband has been in Folkestone Care Home for 4 months. He was very poorly when he arrived but after the care and support he has experienced there he is a different person. The staff - carers, nurses, domestics - all are amazing - and they care! Nothing is too much trouble and they go the extra mile to support their residents and make them happy. The Wellbeing team are also amazing - they make sure the residents are stimulated and entertained - they all care very much about looking after the residents. My husband now regularly takes part in activities and feels part of the community. The building and garden areas are bright and attractive and are always spotlessly clean. I cannot fault the place - they have made such a difference to the lives of both of us and i will always be extremely appreciative.

Since mum entered the Folkestone Care Centre, my life and hers have improved immeasurably. I am free, after 9 years of worry, from the stress of providing inadequate caring support at home. I know that Mum will get the best possible surveillance and care that when problems (often) occur, I will be informed and consulted. Top marks to FCC!
