Respite stays are subject to a 20% uplift on the prices shown above. Fees are subject to a pre-admission
needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each

Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply
an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I came to Gracewell a year ago shortly after it opened in January 2017 and I have no regrets. Being a new build enables me to get around with wide corridors and handrails. The rooms are all ensuite and very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the food is first class. There is
a delightful garden where one can sit out on comfortable seats.

We knew that finding a care home for mum was never going to be an easy journey. Our hearts sank when we visited some of the establishments available as we were novices. Then we found Gracewell of Sutton Coldfield and we were overwhelmed, it ticked all the right boxes. We knew immediately that it was
where we wanted mum to be and we haven’t been disappointed.
The staff are exceptional and understand that when a loved one goes into care it’s not just that person who is affected but family and friends too. Everyone is made to feel welcome. It’s not an easy decision for anyone to make but we know we have made the right one for mum. Her safety and care are paramount. If you like luxury, you will love Gracewell of Sutton Coldfield.

We come to the Wednesday club which is on two Wednesdays a month. We are always greeted with a caring and friendly manner. There is always someone who you can speak to for support. the staff are helpful and are always there for us. We are well looked after with tea/coffee and biscuits in a nice environment
and meeting people who are non-judgmental.

Dad had previously been in another care home in a different county. Our experience of Gracewell is the polar opposite of his previous home. Dad is being very well cared for, he is clean and dressed smartly, so looks like our old dad. His skin is moisturised on a daily basis and he is always clean shaven.
There are daily activities to attempt to engage the residents and even Dad, who has severe dementia, responds some of the time. As members of dads family, we are always made to feel very welcome.

We come to the Wednesday Club every 1st and 3rd Wednesday in the month as my partner has Alzheimer's, and I find everything good and welcoming.

I have been coming here for 6 months and have enjoyed every minute. I lost my husband 4 months ago and the staff have been very caring. I have made some lovely friends, the staff are like our friends too. The surroundings are beautiful too.

I went to Gracewell for four weeks of respite care after having a new shoulder operation, where I was given a beautiful room overlooking the gardens. The carers were very kind and helpful. We had lovely food in the dining room but as it was a new floor, the kitchen staff often forgot the "trimmings"
for the second floor. My clothes were well washed and ironed too.

I visited all of the top rated care homes in the North Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield area to find the best one for my Dad following his stroke. He needed a home that had excellent care, friendly staff and a high quality of living environment. Only Gracewell of Sutton Coldfield managed to tick all
of these boxes - indeed it has exceeded expectations from every perspective. Dad has settled into his new home very quickly and I have complete peace of mind that he is being cared for in a professional, friendly and safe environment. I would highly recommend a visit to Gracewell if you are searching for a first class care home - you will be totally impressed.

My brother-in-law was discharged from hospital directly into Gracewell, in March, after recovering from falls occasioned in his previous care home. At this stage he could not walk unaided, hold a cup etc., and was hallucinating badly. Thanks to the carers and the care he has received at Gracewell he
could walk unaided after a few days and is now virtually independently mobile. I cannot speak too highly of the care and attention that the whole team provide to the residents within a lovely, warm, family atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Everywhere is exceptionally clean, the rooms bright and airy, the food very tasty with a varied menu served in the excellent dining rooms and great activities both indoors and where possible outside in the lovely gardens. All relatives and friends are very warmly welcomed and encouraged to visit and join in the activities if they desire.

My Mother-in-law came to Gracewell on the 30th June and the care was excellent. Unfortunately, she passed away last night but the care and attention she was given in her final days was excellent. The staff also took the time to get to know the residents family and the care and compassion we received
was very thoughtful.

My brother has been in Gracewell of Sutton Coldfield since March 2017. He is so happy and is very well looked after. The staff are lovely and so caring. His room is light and nicely decorated. The food is exceptional with several choices on the menu. No one passes him by without speaking to him. I have
never seen him smile so much since being in Gracewell. A lovely care home and I have visited many. A real gem.

My mother went into Gracewell of Sutton Coldfield thinking she was going for respite as she has never wanted to go into a care home. The entire staff and home are amazing. Unfortunately, my mother didn't join in any activities, was very stubborn and insisted on going home. Although she has dementia,
my brother and I felt it was what we had to do. She spent 5 weeks there. I am hoping she will have to go back to Gracewell though!
