Richard has a wealth of experience in operational and strategic management in specialist healthcare services. A registered Occupational Therapist with 27 years of experience working with male, female, adolescent and older adult services including learning disability, neuropsychiatry, autistic spectrum disorder, mental health and personality disorders ranging from medium security through to community houses.

Richard has worked closely with commissioners, regulatory bodies and peer reviewers to monitor and continuously improve standards of care, turning around a number of services with low CQC ratings.

Dr Hamid Sultan has extensive expertise in managing acute and chronic neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), and neurodegenerative disorders.

He is a Consultant in Neurological Rehabilitation at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and provides specialist guidance to residents and staff at Hamberley Neurocare Camberley.

Sanjeev Ujoodah is a highly skilled Registered Nurse with over 20 years of clinical and leadership experience, including a distinguished career in the British Army, where he completed multiple tours of duty.

He has held several senior leadership roles, including Senior Military Nurse, Head of Department in an NHS hospital, Complex Trauma Team Lead, and Outpatient Manager.

At Hamberley Neurocare, Sanjeev works closely with Richard Clark to ensure the highest standards of care for all residents. He oversees the medical needs of the home, supports the nursing team, and ensures that every resident receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs. With his extensive clinical experience and commitment to excellence, Sanjeev plays a key role in delivering high-quality neurological care and rehabilitation.

Nicola Carrig is an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 24 years in neurology, working across NHS, private, and charity sectors in the UK and New Zealand. She specialises in spinal cord injury and stroke rehabilitation, supporting residents to improve or maintain their independence through tailored therapy and assistive equipment.

Nicola spent eight years at the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, working with individuals recovering from spinal cord injuries, followed by another eight years in stroke rehabilitation. She has a strong focus on cognitive rehabilitation, community re-integration, posture and seating assessments, upper limb interventions, and enhancing daily living skills.

Passionate about hands-on clinical work, Nicola enjoys helping people achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. She has led innovative projects, including an inclusive fashion show for spinal injury patients and adaptive outdoor pursuits, such as abseiling and scuba diving for people with disabilities.

Faika Khan is a Speech and Language Therapist with experience in neurorehabilitation, supporting patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs across community settings, rehabilitation clinics, and private practice. She specialises in neurological disorders, dysphagia, and expressive/receptive communication, using evidence-based therapy to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

After qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist, Faika provided guidance to healthcare professionals, clients, and families on managing eating, drinking, and swallowing challenges, as well as communication difficulties arising from neurological conditions.

Passionate about improving lives, she focuses on enhancing communication and supporting safe swallowing by implementing personalised treatment plans. Faika works closely with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and their families to help achieve rehabilitation goals.

Reece Lambert-Lewis is an experienced physiotherapist specialising in neurological rehabilitation and complex care. He works closely with residents to restore mobility and independence, delivering tailored physiotherapy programmes based on clinical evidence and individual goals.

Reece began his career as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a specialist neurological hospital, later qualifying as a physiotherapist and gaining experience in acute hospital settings, community care, and specialist rehabilitation centres. He has worked extensively with individuals recovering from brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and neurodegenerative conditions.

At Hamberley Neurocare, Reece plays a key role in developing physiotherapy services, implementing personalised treatment plans, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes. He believes in building strong relationships with residents, adapting his approach to meet their unique needs and motivations.

Shavina Patel is a Specialist Dietitian with over a decade of experience supporting patients to meet their nutritional needs across acute hospitals, community rehabilitation, GP practices, and clinics. She specialises in elderly care, neurological disorders, diabetes, and gut health, using evidence-based nutrition therapy to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.

After qualifying as a Dietitian, Shavina advised healthcare professionals on enteral feeding and nutritional supplements. She then spent over 10 years in the NHS, and for the last several years has provided expert dietetic support to private patients and rehabilitation services.

Passionate about improving lives through nutrition, Shavina focuses on preventing malnutrition, enhancing recovery, and supporting overall well-being. She values collaboration within healthcare teams and finds great fulfilment in seeing the positive impact of tailored nutrition plans.
