My grandparents have been here a few weeks, they appear to be happy with their care and both say staff are very helpful. The home is always clean and tidy and staff are always around to help. Lots is fall preventions in place and good outdoor facilities with the weather.

Grandparents arrived in August and I have visited twice now.
My grandparents both seem very happy and settled and seem happy with their care from all staff.

I have come to stay here for three weeks of respite care and have found it amazing. So efficient and comfortable and the staff help me. I am 93 years old born on 05/03/1930 I would certainly come again. Very grateful. Builder in my house.

Mum had a fall in November and it was clear she could no longer live alone as my brother and I both live 3 hours away. From the moment I walked through the door at Fleming Court Care Home I knew that was where she needed to be. Every member of staff goes out of their way to keep the residents safe and
happy and despite the challenges of caring for residents with dementia they are always cheerful and supportive. The food always looks great and the range of activities keeps the residents busy throughout the week. Mum is very happy there and no longer mentions home, as she is happy being on holiday in a lovely hotel! Thank you Fleming Court.

From entering Fleming Court Care Home which gives the impression of a five-star hotel to the care from good uniformed staff who show kindness, patience and sensitivity. The rooms, open spaces and bathrooms, all fitted out to a very high standard give a sense of well-being. The food including wine, warmth
and characteristics are all above exception with no finding or atmosphere of an old care home. Care homes have certainly varied in the standard of the perception of the first to one of excellence.

Within the covid restrictions, the Care Home seems to be run with attention to detail. The few staff I've met have been unfailingly polite and respectful as have a few others I have spoken to on the telephone. My sister's medication regime has been followed to the letter by the staff concerned. My sister
appreciates the night-time care she receives, the social company of some of the other residents, and the good quality of the food provided. I'm greatly relieved to know she is being well looked after and is safe. Thank you.

I recently was able to arrange a visit inside Fleming Court Care Home to see my Aunty, having only managed to see her once in the previous sixteen months. She has dementia and whilst sadly her condition has diminished, it is abundantly clear that she is happy and well cared for at Fleming Court Care
Home. The place continues to feel more like a five star hotel than a care home and when my Aunty arrived to meet me I really appreciated that she looked so well, her hair freshly blow dried and she was wearing smart clothes, in fact she looked just like her old self. Organising the visit and the steps you have to take before you attend make you feel confident they are doing everything they can to keep the residents safe. I really cannot praise one particular member of staff and the all the other staff enough for the care and attention they have given to my Aunty, they treat her like family, giving her all the love and hugs we haven't been able to do. They are also always up for having a sing and a dance with her which they know she loves! Thank you all so very much.

Fleming Court is a high-quality facility in a lovely location. The staff are wonderful - always cheerful and willing to help. My mum agrees. She is well cared for and happy (and looks 10 years younger than when she arrived!).

The care, support and love that is given to my mother is wonderful to see, hear and feel. Although my mother has dementia and struggles to remember events and faces she appears to be very happy and in return loves the staff at Fleming Court Care who are truly caring, thoughtful and have loads of patience.
I hope that when it is my turn to receive care and support it is to the same brilliant level that Fleming Court Care provides and also has lots of biscuits!

My mother arrived at Fleming Court 2 years ago this weekend. The last year has been a nightmare for us all, but I have had the reassurance that Mum is in the best possible place for her, and that her health and well-being are being generously managed by excellent staff. Despite the pressures, the home
has maintained a high level of care provision and has succeeded in keeping residents socially engaged. I particularly appreciated the advice I was given when we lost a family member, and the kindness shown to my mother at that time.

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?


“Getting to know the person and taking time to listen.”


As a Heath Care Professional, Karen has gained a wealth of experience in providing care support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked at HC-One for 12 years, Karen closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Karen remarked:


“Watching the interaction between Residents and staff and watching them laugh together.”


Karen has also achieved much outside of work, she has completed a 1500ft sky dive for the Neonatal ward in Sheffield.”


Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
