My mother has vascular dementia. Four days before her 100th birthday, she broke her hip. She went downhill after the operation. However, since moving into the care home, she is no longer depressed. She is making more sense than in the last six months - she smiles, enters into activities and appears to be so content.

The carers spend a lot of time talking to her, making endless cups of tea (and biscuits), the food is great and when I visit I can spend hours there as the staff are so caring. A wonderful place.

Overall Experience
This is a beautiful new home into which my mother has moved. She has been welcomed, supported and cared for with interest and compassion. It is lovely to visit her and see how her life has actually improved in terms of interactions, friendships, conversation and day to day life in comparison to the previous year. Fleming court is expensive but my brother and I visited many before asking Mum to come and look at Fleming court. She has settled well and that is a credit to the staff and their approach. There are plenty of activities without pressure, outings locally and further afield in the minibus and pleasant meals, coffee and tea times.

I would recommend this home very highly and hope there is a place if and when my time comes! I feel comfortable entrusting the staff here with my Mum.

Right from day one, we have been impressed at Fleming Court by the quality of staff and care provided. Mum has been a resident for 10 weeks and settled in very quickly. As a family, we are confident that mum is well cared for and loves the social scene available to her.
With regular trips out and social activities aplenty, good food and spotless surroundings we are delighted with our choice of home for mum. Most importantly - she is too!
She describes it as a first class hotel - with care.

We would and have, recommend to anyone who will listen.

A lovely welcoming building with caring friendly staff. The rooms are all clean and spacious but warm and comfortable. Private bathrooms are clean and easy for the less physically able to use. The residents have a lounge dining area on each floor but can use other floors if they wish. My dad has appreciated the opportunity to buy a glass of wine with his meal if he wishes at the licenced bar and as the weather improves we look forward to sitting outdoors. The daily programme of events is interesting but residents can choose to what extent they participate.

Overall Experience

I spent 3 weeks at Fleming Court recently and I can say it was a most pleasurable time during which I was looked after to a very high standard by a caring and efficient staff day and night. My every need was attended to diligently and promptly without any reservation. Further, the homemade food was superbly presented and consistent of a varied and healthy menu by an exceptionally talented kitchen staff. The grounds are well laid out and the building is most pleasantly situated. I would recommend Fleming Court to anyone as a temporary or permanent residence.

This care home opened towards end of 2016. My mother became ill and needed urgent respite care.
The staff at the home were really supportive in visiting my mother in hospital and arranging her respite care. The home itself is magnificent.
The staff have been excellent and have provided very good care - so much so my mother has decided to stay in the home permanently.

Thank you to everyone at Fleming Court.

Very smart décor, friendly, helpful staff who will do anything you ask of them. Food excellent even though I don't have a good appetite. I enjoy the activities which keep my mind working, especially the crossword puzzles which I haven't been able to do for some years because of my poor eyesight. The nice lady who organises the activities is lovely.
