Excellent facilities, however the room of the resident could use more regular cleans. however due to his condition and hypersensitivity to sound, the cleaners cannot use vacuums. I would like them to instead at least clean with a broom and air freshener.
Thankyou for your feedback. We try not to use air fresheners as they mask smells rather then dealing with the source. This resident does not like us using sprays in their room. My father has been a resident at Oak Hall, Haslemere for two and a half years and just turned 100 yrs old. He has just celebrated with a lovely family party in one of Oak Halls lovely lounge areas. All guests were made to feel very welcome. The staff and carers go above and beyond for him and always make time for him. The enviroment is pleasant and very convenient for me to visit as I live locally. His medical needs are well taken care of and he is still very mentally active and I'm sure his excellent care has assisted with this. They make him feel very special and he is never lonely when family members can't be there with him.

The team at Oakhall are amazing, nothing is too much trouble. The administrator kindly offered us the Library to host my father's 100th birthday with his extended family and friends (plus musicians). The chef provided an amazing cake and everyone had a lovely afternoon. The Oakhall team couldn't have been more accommodating. They also made sure my father was dressed in his smart clothes, hair washed and styled before they brought him to his party. Thank you Oakhall team.
He is such a proud man and always looks smart, but wanted to make a special effort for this birthday. My grandmother has been at Oak Hall for the last four years and I have only great things to say about the care she ahs received during this time. She was certainly not easy at the beginning of her time and the staff were incredibly patient!

The care that my mother has received since she has been at Oak Hall has been nothing shy of first class. She is not easy but has always been treated with great care and compassion. This has been of great comfort to the family.

Just wanted to add a review on to here say how brilliant Oak Hall Care Home is. Whenever I have come in to see my friend I am always welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. The home always looks and smells clean. There is surplus amounts of activities available which my friend is able to get involved with which is always a pleasure to see. Food is always well presented and smells yummy ! Management are always more than happy to help and answer any questions/ queries no matter how big or small and resolutions are always presented in a timely manner. I would recommend Oak Hall to anyone who is looking for a welcoming home for their family or friend.

My dear husband has been in this very special care home for almost four years. He had a very severe stroke in 2021. Distressing time to say the least. Following on from two hospitals he was advised to reside in Oak Hall in Haslemere. He and myself have been welcomed since then. Wonderful care home, attentive and caring carers, nurses, and doctors attend weekly. General managers have been most impressive and always keep the door open. Stunning building and gardens. Quiet off the road. Spacious and beautifully furnished. Daily activities for residents. Loving humour and empathy.

My mother was living at Oak Hall for just over a year. She received excellent care right up to her passing. The staff were very supportive and helpful, and as her retirement flat was within the grounds of the home, it meant an easy transition from being in her own home to being cared for.

My elderly mother moved to Oak Hall following a fall which restricted her ability to walk. We have been very pleased with all aspects of the home. It is a lovely building set in beautiful surroundings but is easily accessible. Without exception, the staff are friendly and always willing to assist in any way they can. My mother's room is bright and airy and she has personalised it with her own pictures and ornaments. We have had an excellent experience.

Mum had been a resident for just over 3 years. She loved the staff-all of them and, it was clear, they really cared for her. She enjoyed a laugh and they made time to chuckle with her. The activities programme was very varied but Mum was never under pressure to join in if she didn't want to. Having said that, being very social, she did most things. She liked the food too. Being cooked on-site, it was always interesting and nicely presented. Sadly Mum died recently and the staff then were so helpful to us. If we had to place a relative in a care home again, I wouldn't hesitate to contact OakHall. We have no regrets. Mum was very content there.
It was such a pleasure to have Mum with us. She was a real character and always saw the funny side of every situation. So good at quizzes and word searches. If she couldn't find the right word she would simply make one up. Always grateful for what the staff did for her she will be forever missed as will your family. Rosemarie trained in Jamaica and qualified as an RN in 1994, as a Midwife in 1998 and as a Public Health Nurse in 2008.
Rosemarie migrated to the UK from Jamaica in 2016, and once here obtained a HABC Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care in 2018. She has been working in the care home setting since then.
Hi, my name is Gabby and I am a senior nurse here at Oak Hall. I joined the team in 2022 after previously nursing at Holy Cross Hospital. I am from Romania and qualified as a RGN in 2017. I like yoga, running and reading, mostly psychology books.
Claire joined Oak Hall in 2023 as Assistant Administrator. She has recently been promoted to lead Administrator and loves spending time chatting with visitors and residents. She can usually be found in her office near reception or at the reception desk.
Dawn has worked at Oak Hall since July 2018 when it first opened as a Care Home. Dawn deals with all incoming enquiries for the home ensuring a high standard of communication is maintained.
Dawn started her career in the care industry as a Health Care Assistant and fell in love with the industry. Dawn decided to grow her knowledge of the industry and due to family commitments moved into the administration and front of house side of the business.

Hi, I'm Ramona and I am part of the nursing team here at Oak Hall. I moved here from Romania in 2016. I've been a carer since that time, moving up to lead carer and finally qualifying as an RGN in 2020. I joined the team here in December 2021.
My hobbies include gardening, movies cinema and shopping as well as spending time with my lovely husband and two wonderful sons.
Shirley joined Oak Hall in April 2021. Shirley has worked in care for all of her life. Having started her career with King Edward VII and worked there for 30+ years. Shirley then went to Holy Cross Hospital where she completed my NVQ level 2 in housekeeping. Shirley then moved to Moorlands Care Home and completed my NVQ level 2 in Dementia. In my spare time Shirley likes to walk my dog, Jasper and spend time in the garden, but most of all spending time with her 3 boys.
