The care and safety of all their "guests" is absolutely first class. To see my friend enjoying life again, making friends, being cared for and above all smiling makes me so happy. All the staff are so friendly and seem to love their jobs - nothing is too much trouble and always with a smile. Thank you Reigate Grange for all you do

I write this review before the recent changes in both the general manager & the dementia manager. It is far too soon for me to comment on the changes. Colin moved in & improved immediately in 2025 The staff are amazingly caring. I cannot thank them enough. A lot of kindness

I have been here over 4 years now and they have been VERY happy years from day 1.

Everyone here goes out of their way to do all they can for us. The food is excellent - but if there is a dish not to your liking, the kitchen will always offer you an alternative. The activities have really improved - there is always something to do. We are also taken out once a week to various venues - usually of our choice.

Our parents spent three weeks at Signature at Reigate Grange while Dad recovered from surgery. As Mum relies on him every day, it was important they could stay together so he could focus on recovering, knowing she was being cared for too.
Unfortunately, Mum arrived a few days before Dad, which was unsettling for her and worrying for us. The team immediately put a thoughtful care plan in place, ensuring she was supported and never felt alone. Their kindness and reassurance gave us enormous peace of mind.
Throughout their stay, the staff were kind, patient and attentive. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Their suite was spacious and comfortable, there were plenty of activities and musical performances to enjoy, and the staff gently encouraged Mum to join in, giving Dad time to rest.

The food was excellent, and it was wonderful to see Dad regain his appetite and strength. We are incredibly grateful for the care, compassion and professionalism shown throughout their stay.

Recently, we helped our dear friend to move into Reigate Grange, and very quickly realised we had made the right choice. The staff are very supportive, friendly and patient. The common rooms are very comfortable, well appointed and airy, and there appear to be plenty of activities organised for the residents. We have particularly appreciated how supportive Lesley has been and how efficiently she has dealt with all the questions and issues we have raised.

Our cousin enjoyed many happy years here, from an active lifestyle to her passing. My mum had been at Signature for three and a half years and last year moved up to Hilltops, the dementia floor. The care, affection, patience and kindness she received was second to none. All the staff were brilliant and not only looked after Mum but were there for us as we navigated Mum's illness, having never experienced it before. When Mum fell ill and was receiving palliative care, Signature got better. They made an incredibly and emotional time so much easier for us and it allowed us to be with Mum in a calm, controlled but peaceful environment. She passed surrounded by love and care (from Signature staff) as well as family in a dignified and peaceful way.

I came to Reigate Grange as my back operation was delayed and I required care due to balance issues and not being able to safely be at home.
The staff are all very kind and helpful and give the impression that nothing is too much trouble . Everything is extremely clean and well maintained.
There is a varied menu and there is also a choice of something light if preferred. The staff in the restaurant are also very professional and friendly.
There is a wide range of activities which are optional and the hair salon is a great asset.

When family or friends come to visit me, I appreciate that they receive the same hospitality as I would offer at home.

Residents are very well cared for, respectfully and affectionately, especially by the day staff. There is room for improvement with cleanliness. Bins in rooms are emptied infrequently. In the bistro we have received dirty cutlery and glasses and had to wipe chair seat clean. I feel there could be more focus on quality v quantity for meals. We were extremely disappointed to see the activities team go- that was really poor at these prices. Good to see this area recovering. Big complaint: coffee machine is always breaking down- needs replacing!

We had a short notice requirement for an elderly gentleman with no immediate family to take a couple of weeks respite following a hospital stay and before returning home.
There were a lot of unknowns to deal with, including the fact that we did not initially have contact with his financial power of attorney which delayed payment of the fees. The Signature team were extremely flexible and pragmatic in helping us through that challenge.
In terms of the stay itself, the teams throughout were kind and supportive and did everything they could to make my relative comfortable.

In summary, this team goes the extra mile.

Review from John B (Godson of Resident) published on 12 January 2026 Submitted via Website

My godmother has been a resident at Reigate Grange for over 4 years and they provide excellent care. In the early days she was fully engaged in the wide range of daily activities and was hardly ever in her room. Food is also excellent. She now suffers from advanced dementia and is being very well cared for on the dementia floor in the same building. The team have dealt with a wide range of challenges as her dementia has advanced and I have always felt that she is safe and well cared for. I can track her daily life on Relatives Gateway and the staff are very proactive if there are any problems, illnesses, medical concerns. They always contact me to brief me and answer any questions I may have. Reigate Grange is an excellent choice for her. The only reason I have given value for money 4 stars rather than 5 is that it is quite expensive!

My parents were keen to stay together despite the early dementia diagnosis for my father. From our first visit we were impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of all staff. The facilities are incredible and their apartment is perfect for them - a double bedroom, large lounge with a kitchenette and wet room. There is an abundance of lounges and seating areas for socialising and a café area for meeting family and friends.

The care provided has been first class. The nurses and care staff are very thorough and attentive. They interact with my parents with kindness, patience and great humour. My cousin has been a resident at The Grange for four years. We visited a few other homes before selecting The Grange and I must say it has lived up to expectations! Yes, the surroundings are of a high standard but it is the care provided by all the staff that stands out as it is exceptional. All the staff, the manager, the care staff, the nurses, the chef etc., are wonderful. Residents are treated with the utmost care, in a very person-centered manner, where the care provided is adjusted to meet their individual needs. My cousin is very happy at The Grange and looks forward to many more happy days living there.

Caring for others has always been more than just a career for me; it is my passion. I am dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centred dementia care and making a positive difference to the lives of our residents and their families every day.

My career began in domiciliary care, supporting people to maintain their independence in their own homes while building meaningful relationships with them and their families.
