The food is great, in particular the chef, Ash, did everything he could to make sure my Mum had a great birthday party with a lovely buffet and delicious cake.
From the Manager, Gabriela, and all of her team there is a real sense of commitment and respect for the residents and I'm grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you x
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. It truly means a lot to all of us.
Were delighted to hear that you found the home welcoming and that our team made such a positive impression. I will be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to everyone, especially to Ash, who will be thrilled...
We chose Parklands for mum notwithstanding the relatively high costs in order to give her the highest quality of life in the last years of life. Despite her stroke, and being wheelchair bound as a result, mum had two and half years in the company of delightful, interesting residents and under the care of an exemplary team in every respect. The physical surroundings and facilities are also of the highest quality, with regular organised activities to keep minds active. I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided by the nursing, carers and general staff. If you can't face your relative being consigned to a generic semi circle in a lounge dominated by a TV, have a look at Parklands. The marginal cost over a standard home is material, but well worth it.

During his time there he was looked after amazingly well by all the nurses and carers who were all so caring and sensitive to his needs.
We would like to thank all the nurses, staff and carers at the Care Home from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of my Brother during his stay.
Chertsey Parklands is a beautiful care home and we would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending it
Thank you all once again
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words. We are deeply sorry for the loss of your brother and extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
It truly means a great deal to us to know that he was cared for with compassion, dignity, and sensitivity during his time...
My Mum has been at Parklands Manor for 4 weeks respite. She has been beautifully looked after and has found the home very comfortable and restful. She has enjoyed the company of the very caring staff and has especially loved her meals. The facilities are very calming and my Mum has improved tremendously in such a short time. Overall a terrific place to be whether for respite or long term care.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. Were delighted to hear that your Mum has felt comfortable, well cared for, and able to relax during her time with us at Parklands Manor. Our team takes great pride in providing a calm, supportive environment, and its wonderful to know she...
I visit a good friend at least twice a week and once again I am so overwhelmed by the friendliness of all the staff, and I mean all. They all make a point of smiling and acknowledging me and are happy to take that time to have a conversation with me if needed. Just amazing. Thank you for making me feel welcome.
Thank you for your lovely review. Its always a pleasure to see you and I agree the atmosphere at Parklands is always friendly.
The staff were so friendly and caring. As an ex nurse my mother is very particular.
She is now able to go back and live at home, having been looked after but allowed to regain her independence
and confidence.
She enjoyed the garden and the library and was also pleased to get her hair done and see a chiropodist and physio during her stay.
We both now feel that should she need care in the future, we feel secure we have found somewhere she will be happy. It is a daunting experience the first time.
Thank you for you lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure looking after mum . I hope she has settled in at home and feeling more herself. I will pass on your feed back to the team. All the best Parklands Manor x
After my mum came out of hospital I had to find a suitable care home for care, physio and making sure she is safe and looked after. I found Chertsey Parklands Manor and I met the manager and immediately felt it had everything we needed.
Thank you for your review. It has been lovely getting to know Mum and your family. Mum is a great asset to our Parklands family and I am so pleased she is setting in so well.
excellent support for my father for his respite care and then subsequent residency. The team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment you enter through the door to everyone we met we were made to feel very welcome, The residents i spoke to were all very happy suggesting a well run organisation. The interactions between the staff members also indicated a very happy team. The admin and nursing team were all excellent.
Thanks for your lovely review. It was a pleasure looking after Dad and so lovely see how well he settled in and was enjoying the home. Sending you our love , from the Team x
After a hospital stay, my mum agreed to having some respite care. I visited a couple of care homes that offer this service, Chertsey Parklands Manor was one of them. I was very impressed with their building and surroundings, the staff were all very friendly on this visit and I was suitably impressed on behalf of my mum and felt this was the sort of place she would like. We were shown all the facilities they had to offer and even the room that mum would stay in. Mum had to go through their assessment process and was booked in with a few days of our initial visit. Mum had a 2 week respite visit and she was so grateful for the care she received during her visit. Every single member of staff was approachable, helpful and had a smile for everyone. The whole family enjoyed their visits in these wonderful surroundings and the hospitality offered to family and visitors alike. Would throughly recommend and mum would stay again if the need was there.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to have mum stay with us for 2 weeks and to get to meet you and your lovely family. All the best.
Mum spent the last year of her life here and the care could not have been better, she really felt at home and had some lovely friends. More than that, we often visited her and really felt part of a larger family, everyone knew and looked after each other, on the rare occasions that mum wasn't 100%, residents and staff were genuinely concerned. The trips and classes were fun too, how many 98 year olds take to Tai Chi and boxercise!
Thank you for your lovely review Mike. I agree mum was fantastic for her age and thoroughly made the most of the home and the activities provided. We miss her and seeing you guys . Thank you for all of the support and for always making an effort to come along and join in when possible. All our love the team at Parklands x
She enjoyed the food, used the chiropody service, and took the opportunity to get her hair done (3 times)! My elder son and his family visited her there, and he said his gran was in really good form. The great-grandchildren enjoyed cake from the cafe, trying out the "cool" recliner chairs and playing pool in the games room.
We also spent an enjoyable, worry-free holiday knowing that Mum was happy and well looked after. I am full of admiration for the excellent management and staff, who succeed in creating a wonderful atmosphere in the home, and in ensuring that there are many stimulating activities and trips for the residents. Big shout out also to the catering and cleaning staff. They do a great job.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure having Mum stay with us while you were away. Mum got involved in the activities and like you mentioned made friends with residents and carers whilst she stayed with us. It's wonderful to know that she had such a positive experience. I will pass this positive feedback on to the team.
My cousin, a first cousin, was resident in the home for 2 years - she was introduced to Chertsey Parklands Manor as it offered the very best medical and nursing care available - a critical factor for my cousin with her special needs and requirements. Right up to her death on December 9th 2024, she was very complimentary about the care and attention she received from all levels of personnel at the home. Time and time again when I discussed her continuing needs she was quite adamant that there was no parallel to Parklands, it offered optimal standards of care, attention and above all a genuine love. I noted her reaction to the caring and nursing personnel whenever they entered her room - there was a warm understanding, a trust that went beyond words. We may never see Parklands again as we live in Somerset but our memory will be of a caring team of people all working to make the end of my cousin's life as comfortable and as secure as possible.
Thank you for your lovely words. It has been an absolute pleasure looking after your cousin and the staff at Parklands all became very fond of her. She was very lucky to have you looking out for her and visiting often.
Mum was taken into hospital in October and sadly it was decided that end of life care was needed. Mum was transferred back to Parklands, her face lit up when she saw her carers, it was the best thing we could have done. Mum spent her last 10 days very comfortably and well taken care of, plus us as a family we were taken care of by the wonderful staff as well. Mum and dad were both 96 when they passed. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to all the staff at Parklands for their kindness, friendship and care. It is going to leave quite a hole in our lives not going to Parklands any more.
This has been a real home for mum and dad, the levels of care have been exceptional.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to look after mum and dad for so many years. We will miss you visiting as you were such a big part of Parklands and mum and dad were so lucky to have such supportive family around them. Sending all our love and hugs from the team at Parklands.
I have nothing but positive words to write about the care provided for my mother at Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home, not just in terms of the facilities (which are excellent) but, more importantly, in terms of the quality and dedication of all the staff. They are truly top-notch. I cannot recommend Parklands Manor highly enough.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure looking after mum and meeting all of her family. Our carers and nurses do a fantastic job and we really appreciate when this gets noticed. Sending all our love and best wishes to you all.
I chose Parklands Manor because it could also handle the level of care both time intensive and at the end of things, palliative focus that my dad needed and would need.
The care staff bonded quickly with my father and he loved them dearly too and this friendship and kinship was very evident at the end of my father's life as well.
The way his death was handled by both the nurses and carers was so respectful and beautiful and not a single step was missed or a loving touch missed either.
Parklands Manor will forever be a part of our lives and I recommend them wholeheartedly without hesitation.
Thank you. The carers and nurses at Parklands do a fabulous job and it means so much more when we receive thanks from the resident and families. This means so much to us. It really was a pleasure looking after Dad. It was also lovely to meet you and Mum and see how lucky Dad was to have you both. We will miss you all.
During the short time Dad spent at Parklands, the care, consideration and kindness shown to him was exemplary. The same was also extended to our family by all members of the team. We are so thankful.
Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely family. Sending our love and best wishes.
I went on holiday in July for 2 weeks. It is always a worry going away without Mum but I knew she was in good hands and well looked after. The home stayed in regular contact updating me on Mum and how she was each day which helped me enjoy my holiday without worrying about her. I spend a lot of time at Parklands and have got to know many of the staff and built a friendship with them. Would highly recommend Parkland Manor to anyone looking for care.
Thank you for your review. It is an absolute pleasure looking after Mum. It's so wonderful to see the relationship mum has built with the team at Parklands, as have you. We really appreciate your lovely comments.
Having viewed several care homes in the area, we decided on Chertsey Parklands Manor and are so glad we did! All the staff are warm and welcoming and from day 1, my partner's needs have been catered for to ensure his safety and comfort. The carers are kind, compassionate and very patient, with nothing ever being too much trouble. The activities team deliver a varied schedule every day and there are regular trips out. My partner joins in with the exercise classes, something he never would have done before and the benefits have been noticeable.
The food is to be commended, breakfast and 3-course lunch and supper menu offering several choices. In addition, drinks, cake and fruit are available throughout the day. The surroundings are beautiful, a large pretty landscaped garden with a big pond. A lovely patio area offers tables and chairs and also there are benches located around the garden. My thanks to all the team at Chertsey Parklands Manor, it's reassuring to know my partner is looked after so well!
Surrounded by trees and sweeping lawns, the magnificent entrance inspires confidence, calm, and tranquillity, coupled with a warm welcome.
The professionalism and efficiency of staff, at all levels is inspirational, readily developing trust and a sense of belonging.
Indeed, a happy, secure place to be - where nothing is too much trouble!
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure to have you at Parklands and so wonderful to see how many friends visited you during your stay. It's such a beautiful home and lovely to see our guests make the most of the caf and beautiful garden. Sending all our love to the team at Parklands.
My mother spent the last few months of her life at Chertsey Parklands Manor. It is a lovely care home with bright, comfortable rooms, great activities (she especially loved tai chi and boxercise), lovely communal areas (I particularly commend the excellent and ever-changing themed decorations at Halloween, Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.), and - most importantly - wonderfully caring staff. My mother grew very fond of her room and particularly appreciated the access to outside space. She also grew very fond of a number of the carers who showed her great care, kindness, and compassion in her last few weeks. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure looking after Mum and seeing all of her family visit her so often. You are right we do love any excuse for a theme here and our activities and team hard work pay off. She is missed by the staff here, especially the care team. Sending all of our love and best wishes Parklands.

Meet the Team (9)

I’m originally from Slovakia, with Slovak and Hungarian roots, and I moved to England in 2002. Though I studied Economics, Management, Marketing, and Accountancy, I found my passion in care, inspired by my mother, a former intensive care nurse and day centre manager.
I’ve worked in the care sector since 2005, progressing from Care Worker to Registered Manager in 2011. I’ve managed various services, including private, not-for-profit, and social services settings, as well as two domiciliary agencies. My qualifications include Level 5 in Health and Social Care, Level 3 in Dementia Leadership and Palliative Care, and Level 2 in Mental Health and Nutrition.
After five years at Esher Manor/Avery, I transferred to Cliveden Manor/Avery in August 2023. I joined the Chertsey Parklands team in September 2025.

I am a dedicated Clinical Lead with more than 30 years of nursing experience and over 15 years of leadership within healthcare. I began my nursing career in Slovakia, specialising in respiratory care, before relocating to the UK, where I have built an extensive and rewarding career in nursing homes and elderly care.
Since joining the home environment in 2014, I have progressed from Senior Nurse to Clinical Lead. In my current role, I oversee all aspects of clinical care, ensuring every resident receives safe, compassionate, and person-centred support. I am passionate about mentoring and developing my team, maintaining the highest clinical standards, and working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding care.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing and am committed to continuous professional development. I regularly undertake advanced training in leadership, safeguarding, dementia care, end-of-life care, diabetes management, and clinical governance, ensuring my knowledge and practice remain at the forefront of the profession.
At the heart of my approach is the belief that every resident deserves to feel valued, respected, and supported to live life to the fullest. My dedication, expertise, and compassionate leadership help create a positive environment where residents and colleagues alike can thrive.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, swimming, cycling, and reading.
“Providing high-quality, compassionate care while supporting and developing our team is what inspires me every day.” – Andrea, Clinical Lead

I’m originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. I moved to England in 2016.
I’ve worked in the Nursing care home sector since 2016. I am ca ompassionate nurse, working at Chertsey Parklands Nursing Home since 2020. I am committed to dignity, comfort, and quality patient- centred care.
Chertsey Parklands Nursing Care Home has become a true passion of mine, inspiring me to uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and resident wellbeing.
I have been the Nurse Care Manager here since 2025, and I am leading my team to achieve excellence in care delivery through collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
I want my team to be proud of their job, confident, and make our residents the happiest and be satisfied with our care delivery and wellbeing in Chertsey Parklands Manor Nursing Home.

I have worked in the Healthcare Industry for 10 years. I have worked in care homes, hospitals and in IT. I am very passionate about the health care sector, and I believe I have found my niche within the care home environment, combining my business experience with my experience in care.
I enjoy advising on admissions and helping people transition from home or from hospital into a care home. I very much enjoy the working environment here at Parklands Manor. I enjoy getting to know our residents and helping engage with community links to further enrich the residents' lives with the benefit of what the community links can bring to our home.

My name is Lynn, and I’m proud to be part of the Chertsey Parklands family. My journey into care started many years ago. I have worked in various roles, and it has shaped the way I see people, purpose, and community. I have been a carer in the community, a care assistant in a home, a team leader med tech, a Senior Carer, a Residential care manager, and a home trainer, but have found my passion in the business side of the care sector.
Every day in our home reminds me why I’m here. I get to support incredible residents who have lived extraordinary lives, people who have taught me about resilience, laughter, patience, and love. Whether I’m supporting a resident with an invoice or having a morning chat with a resident, I’m reminded that small moments often make the biggest difference.
Working in care isn’t just a job for me, it’s a calling. I believe everyone deserves dignity, connection, and joy at every stage of life and being able to help create that, one smile, one story, one gentle moment at a time, is something I’m deeply grateful for.Thank you for following our journey. I look forward to sharing more of the meaningful moments we experience here at Chertsey Parklands, where every day is an opportunity to show compassion and celebrate the people who came before us.

I started working for Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home when it first opened in 2018 and worked in Reception. I then moved to work in the community in Supported Living with young adults with Learning Disabilities and caring for people with challenging behaviour as an Assistant Manager. I returned to Parklands in 2025 as the Head Housekeeper. I have always loved the environment here. I am creative and hardworking. I have always been a people person and enjoy being part of a caring environment and team. I enjoy the residents' company and finding out more about their interesting stories and lives.

I am the Head Chef at Chertsey Parklands, with over 16 years of experience as a professional chef. My passion for working within the care sector comes from a very personal place. After caring for a loved one who sadly passed away, I felt a strong calling to give something back and to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
My journey began as a carer before I retrained as a chef, which has shaped the way I approach food and care today. I understand how much comfort, reassurance, and happiness a good meal can bring—especially to those who may be vulnerable or living away from home. For me, food is far more than nutrition; it is dignity, familiarity, and a powerful way of showing care.
I take great pride in creating meals that are not only nutritious and well-balanced but also comforting, enjoyable, and full of flavour. Seeing residents smile, reminisce, or simply enjoy a meal is what motivates me every single day. Their well-being and quality of life are always at the heart of everything I do in the kitchen.
One of my proudest achievements was being nominated for an in-house MasterChef competition, where I was selected among the top six chefs within a large organisation. Before moving into catering, I began my professional career in IT and hold a master’s degree, which supports my structured, thoughtful, and high-standard approach to kitchen leadership.
I am passionate about leading my team with kindness, consistency, and pride, and about creating a dining experience where residents feel respected, cared for, and truly at home.

I have recently joined Chertsey Parklands Care Home as the Dementia Care Manager. I am really happy to be here and enjoy working with the team. I find it a nice, warm and welcoming environment and haveenjoyed getting to know the residents.
I have over 28 years of experience in care, predominantly with people living with Dementia. Dementia care is something I am very passionate about, and I enjoy making a difference to the lives of the people I care for.
