All the staff were amazing during a very difficult time. The emotional strength and calmness helped tremendously, this was felt anytime, day or night. There is a separate quiet lounge where visits can take place. Tea, coffee & biscuits in constant supply with ice lollies in hot weather. Milton Lodge is a very social care home. My Mother was settled there with the other residents before spending her last days in her room.

Unfortunately mum has to leave the home to be transferred to another because of an incident of the sundowns and cannot be watched all the time, in case goes into other rooms, but is on new medication.

I understand this is in the planning.

It gives me peace of mind that my mother is well looked after.

Good home No complaints

I visit my wife daily, where possible. On arriving always treated with utmost respect, smiling hello, as when I depart. Go by taxi 11 o'clock, depart 4 pm taxi, outer door always locks to stop in house people going outside unsupervised. In house residents always supervised when waking inside care home, never hear a bad word spoken, even during awkward occurrences that are bound to occur. The management always willing to discuss my wife's profess on a daily visit.

Knowing she is in such capable and caring hands gives our family great piece of mind!

My late partner received excellent care at Brook House. I was very impressed with all the staff. They were all very friendly, kind & caring. Nothing was too much trouble. The meals looked very appetizing

The team treated her with dignity and respect at all times and that is something that I will always treasure.

My dad is very settled and happy at The Haven and that is so reassuring to me. All staff have always been helpful and friendly and obviously care about my dad's wellbeing.

I was, and still am, extremely grateful all the wonderful characters at The Haven are looking after her.

The Haven is suitable for the care of my father. All the staff work hard and there is little I can fault, if any, concerning the service provided. Food is excellent. Heating is kept at a good ambient temperature.

My brother has been a resident at The Haven for a few years now, and in that time the management and staff are welcoming and friendly and keep me informed of how he is doing. I am grateful for all the hard work that they do.

My cousin has settled in very well. He enjoys the food which is a big plus. Bill has never been at ease joining in with things so I'm pleased he has been enouraged to participate in some activities. All the staff are friendly + caring. The only improvement could be the lay out of residents lounge and dining areas which seem a bit cramped. A very good, well run home. Reassuring to know Bill is looked after well.

We are delighted with the care and support Dad gets at Firstlings. We find all the staff caring and they treat Dad with kindness and dignity. Dad is enjoying the food and the happy atmosphere. Dad's room is comfortable and as a family we feel reassured that our precious Dad is in a safe place. Thank you Firstlings staff.

Staff very understanding, willing to listen. Friendly senior staff always available to listen & for advice.

The care home is very good. The staff always go the extra mile with the residents.

Mum has now been at Milton Lodge for 2 years. The staff have always been very friendly and have a very caring and positive attitude. Mum hasn't always been the easiest of residents but has always been treated with respect and dignity. Mum has declined considerably in the last 6 months and spends most of her time in her bedroom. Having said this staff still include her, when she is willing, in day-to-day activities. Despite the decline mum is happy and settled. Thank you everyone.

Firstly managers & all the staff on all department are very professional, caring & kind , im so happy my stepmum is here she is so well looked after , Milton Lodge is home from home .The home is always looks clean and comfortable, food is lovely and home made too , when I cant get in to visit management always keep me informed by phone or message.

My dad has been happy, safe and well cared for over the past 18 months. He recently passed away in the home and the manager and staff all made sure that dad was kept pain free and comfortable in his final days. We cannot thank the staff enough for everything they did not only for dad but for us as a family also.

This home Has done so much to help my mother its unbelievable. Every member of staff is so wonderful and caring, and I'm welcomed openly every time I visit I could not recommend this Home more. Even the chef goes in and sees my mum and asks what she'd like to eat so accommodating.
