been disorienting for Mum, but the staff at Pratt House have worked well to make her feel at home. As well as providing an excellent level of care, the staff have made a point of involving Mum in various activities and, as a result, she is settling in very well. Pratt House provides a high degree of personal care, and Mum enjoys the quality and range of food.

activities, sense of community, and attentive care have had a tremendous effect. The Pratt House is in a lovely location with beautiful gardens. The house itself is tidy and well-maintained. The ample natural light makes it bright and cheerful which creates an environment conducive to an enjoyable life.

when my father-in-law did his Elvis impression! He seemed to be happy with his stay, and we got through the 9 days fairly smoothly. There were a couple of medical issues but we were kept informed and they seemed to settle down over the stay. A particular mention goes to one staff member in particular who was our main contact and seemed very on the ball. All in all it seems a nice place and we hope to be able to take him in for other respite stays over the coming months.

coped with fluctuations in her condition, particularly helping her convalesce when she's come out of hospital. Staff are lovely and the continuity is good. The activities are varied and accessible so that everyone can get involved in something. As a family we appreciate the private Facebook group which means we can see how much my mother-in-law has enjoyed activities (which she may have forgotten when we see her).
The bedrooms are light and a good size. I particularly like the garden and the fact that residents can access outside space easily. Security is good but unobtrusive. General feel is very good, friendly guesthouse rather than 5 Star hotel (no chandeliers here!) and it's easy to feel at home.

Communication between the home and family is excellent. The Pratt House social media page is just wonderful, keeping everyone in the loop of the day-to-day events, events that we would never have known even took place. The activities are just superb.
