We were so lucky to find Abbeyfield house and our family will always be grateful to them.

Our mum has been at Abbeyfield since November 2023 and we are delighted with the care and compassion that has been shown to her. Despite her continued deterioration staff are always present and attentive to her needs. We wouldn't want her to be anywhere else.

My mum has a lovely room, is settled, happy and well cared for.

My cousin has settled into Lee House despite a difficult year medically this year. Although she is still struggling having lost her independence, I'm happy that she is secure and safe in Lee House.

Mum has been a resident here since February 2015 and during that time her dementia and physical mobility have worsened. The staff are excellent, continuing to support Mum as her needs increase. Activities have been reinstated post-pandemic and the garden looks wonderful and Mum continues to enjoy living there. As a relative I feel supported by the staff and welcomed whenever I visit.

I would certainty recommend Abbeyfield House to other families.

I am also a member of a group who visit to take a short service on a monthly basis. These range between 6 and 15 who attend - the variance relates to the number of staff available and the needs of the individual resident.

I am extremely grateful for the care my sister has at Abbeyfield and the communication I receive regarding any changes, including when she is Resident Of The Week when I can give input on anything she may need or any concerns.

Abbeyfield have been brilliant at making him feel comfortable and cared for. He loves it there and cannot remember resisting the idea. I visit him most days and am hugely relieved and grateful to them for looking after him so well.

I find Abbeyfield to be a very warm, caring and cosy place for my mother. She has been a resident since May this year. The staff are very kind towards Mum and all of the residents. I would recommend the home to anyone.

I go home now, and I have no worries about her safety and care at all.

My sister seems content there, and I am satisfied that she seems well cared for, which helps to give her family peace of mind.

My mum has been at Lee House for over five years. I live overseas and appreciate all the care she receives and all the support given to me, from keeping me informed to getting things that Mum needs when I'm not in the UK. I visit regularly for extended periods and always find everyone welcoming, friendly and caring. Many of the staff have been at Lee House for a number of years, and this continuity helps create a great atmosphere. Being a carer is a tough job; the staff are wonderful, and many go the extra mile for the residents. Everything is well organised, and the premises are well maintained and clean, and the garden is lovely. Thank you everyone.

My mother has been a resident at Abbeyfield House Care Home since 2017. My sister and I are very happy with the care that she receives there. She is always clean and presentable and the care workers offer her a choice of clothing each day. Her condition and behaviour are managed very well and she has grown very fond of a number of the care workers. Communication is very good. I am kept well informed, as an example when they feel she needs to see the GP and when she is resident of the day. They advise us of any risks which they have identified in relation to Mum’s care, recently they introduced crash mats and bed sensors to manage any risk of injury if Mum fell out of bed. I know that Mum’s well-being is a top priority. My sister and I both feel my mum is still here at the age of 93 because she is a resident at Abbeyfield, New Malden.

I was not aware of who his key worker was, and they have never contacted me. I don’t know who was in charge of his first review, but it was staggered with people coming at different times and no representation from the staff. Very unprofessional.

My mother has been at Lee House for over 5 years and is very content and well looked after. The care staff are all extremely kind, respectful and hard-working. The home is very well run and we are kept informed of all aspects of my mother’s care and general well-being, which gives us great comfort. The setting is perfect. My mother has a large light room looking over a lovely garden which provides real tranquility and calm for her. She couldn’t be in a better place.

I share Power of Attorney with a friend for my late husband’s cousin’s widow who very sadly has Alzheimer’s. She moved into Lee House in September 2020. Thanks to the kindness and wisdom of the staff at Lee House my cousin-in-law settled very quickly. As her illness progresses she is receiving more care. She always looks well looked after. When I visit her she is always very happy to see me. When I leave she is equally happy to see me go. This shows me she looks upon Lee House as home and feels very secure. When I walk into Lee House I always think this is lovely, so bright and cheerful. The Manager and her staff are always approachable and open to any suggestions we may have.

A lovely environment with hard-working staff who show real affection and a deeply caring attitude towards my mum. Thanks principally to this, she seems very happy for which we are truly grateful. She enjoys living in her spacious room (large enough to accommodate some of her own things) overlooking a terrace with the beautiful garden and mature trees beyond. We are delighted that she now views the permanent staff and her fellow residents as a second, much larger, extended family.

Lovely place. Caring staff who think about what the resident would like as an individual. Plenty of activities to keep you going. The room is allowed to be personalised and as my mother has a patio she is also allowed to grow plants outside. All staff very considerate and respectful.

The mother of a friend of my wife's is now on the waiting list as a result of our recommendation.
