Would not put my loved one in this home again.

Our Mother is happy and enjoys interaction with the staff.

Liaison is very efficient and everyone takes time and is welcoming and helpful any time we need to ask anything.

I am extremely pleased and impressed with all the care that my husband is receiving and feel that this has helped him enormously to settle into his new environment. I, my family and friends all enjoy our visits to my husband and I would add my 2 sons and 4 grandsons enjoy seeing him too.

Although my mum has only been at Lakeside for a few weeks I'm already very happy with her care. Everyone has shown kindness to both my mum and to me. Due to her dementia it will take time to settle but already she is settling. Everyone has been helpful from carers, reception staff and the GPS. I'm so glad we chose Lakeside.

We visited after he passed away and interrupted Maxine the manager who was talking to a couple of visitors. We gushed about how good the care had been - it turned out the 'visitors' were CQC inspectors! Hopefully it helped with the report.

Although expensive, all homes are, it's much more value than these other homes.

Highly recommended . friendly and helpful staff always keeps me informed on my mother's health and needs. My mothers been here now for nearly two years she said wish could have come earlier as she has made friends here and very happy .

St Brendans is lovely to my Uncle and we are delighted with the care he receives. They treat him as an individual. The staff are very friendly, approachable, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and very willing to help.

My mum recently had a chest infection, she was promptly seen by the nurse who attends from the local GP practice and prescribed appropriate antibiotics. Prior to her admission whilst living alone, mum would become very anxious if she became chesty , I was reassured that she would be comforted and was in good hands from the very kind staff at the home. The senior carer contacted me , keeping me informed of mum's treatment & progress. Mum has been very happy at St Luke's since her admission in Jan 2024. She feels safe , enjoys most meals , likes to be sociable and joins in with all activities. I would like a weekly list of activities as mum has poor memory and would help during our weekly Zoom video calls as I live a distance away. Maybe they could be posted on the Facebook page?

They always contact me with issues that effect my brothers wellbeing. For example if he has a fall irrespective of whether he has hurt himself they will contact me.

The staff at St Luke's are all very helpful and efficient. All issues and problems are addressed and we are kept informed at all times. Each and every one of the staff are super friendly with a kind word to say about our mother. I couldn't be happier with the help and support she is receiving at this difficult time in her life. My mother is very settled at St Luke's in the dementia unit. The home is clean and well-run. The staff are professional and friendly. My mother feels safe and enjoys the interaction with other residents and staff. She has regained her spark and independence which is great to see.

I cannot praise the wonderful staff who are so patient, and show much kindness and love to my mum. Also, the hairdresser who cuts my mum's hair makes her look 10 years younger! She along with all the other staff makes my mum and other residents feel special, which is heartwarming. I could say lots more positive comments about St Lukes but I am limited to how many characters I can type!

The home has been nothing but excellent in every way. The care is top notch along with the food. The rooms are decorated for new residents and they allow you to personalise their rooms so your loved ones feel more at home. As soon as you walk in it feels comfortable and calm.

Since he went in there I have started to relax and can do a bit more myself knowing he is very well cared for.

My mother has truly flourished since moving into St Luke's. From the moment she stepped through the doors, she was greeted with warmth, compassion, and professionalism. The staff are incredibly skilled, but they also genuinely care about the residents' well-being, treating everyone with dignity and respect. Since living here, my mother's health, happiness, and overall quality of life have improved immensely. The nutritious meals, engaging activities, and personalised care plans have all contributed to her thriving in ways we hadn't seen in years. She has formed wonderful friendships, and the community atmosphere brings her so much joy. I'm impressed by the team's dedication and attentiveness, everyday needs are met, and going above and beyond to create a loving, safe environment. Knowing my mother is in such good hands brings peace of mind. I couldn't recommend St Luke's more highly.
