Saintbridge House Nursing & Residential Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
From the moment I contacted Saintbridge House Care Home seeking care and rehabilitation for my partner, after a serious illness, I received nothing but kindness.
The Assistant Manager and Manager pulled out all stops to meet and assess my partner's needs and he was admitted within 24 hours. They could
ot have been more helpful and friendly, which was welcome in what was an extremely stressful and difficult time.
Kindness, respect and consideration were shown to us both throughout his two month stay. The carers, of which there are many, and other staff were all friendly, kind, helpful and, above all, cheerful - which is a credit to them working in what can be a difficult and sad environment. Nothing was too much trouble and the rooms and public areas were always spotless clean.
If either of us need care in the future we would not hesitate to get back in touch with Saintbridge House.
Reply from Hitesh Patel, Managing Director at Saintbridge House Nursing & Residential HomeThank you so much for your kind words, they mean so much. So pleased we found mum a place in such a caring home. All of the staff are very welcoming and they go out of their way to make everyone feel at home (including visitors). The standard of cleaning and catering is also first class. The last word must go to my mum who commented to us recently, without
prompting: "I'm happy here and the carers are lovely."
Reply from Julie Shave, General Manager at The HeathersThank you Amanda for taking the time to write a lovely comment, very much appreciated and it is so nice to hear spoken words from a resident, thank you once again.

My mum was in the Willows from March 2025 until December 2025 when she sadly passed away. In that time me and the family were very please with the care she received. She came to the Willows because she needed nursing care and because her condition meant she was never going to get better, we felt she
was better in herself than in the previous home. She was always clean she loved the food and she seemed as happy as she could be. We will always be grateful to the staff at the Willows and would recommend the Willows to anyone.

I just wish to congratulate all the staff for a wonderful Christmas Day. This was the best Christmas Day I have had with my mother. Our relationship has always been strained but since she has been living at The Heathers it has improved greatly. This has been due to the outstanding care she receives
from all staff whether it's carers or ancillary staff. The managers should be very proud of the home and all their commitment to making it a home from home.

My mum in law was a resident at The Willows Care Home Shepshed for 5 years. In all that time, she was treated with the upmost respect, and it became her home. The staff were all very kind and attentive to her needs. It was a happy place for her, and she liked to be in the lounge with the other residents
and staff. If anyone asked me to recommend a care home for their loved one, I would certainly recommend The Willows.

Dad has been in the Saintbridge House care home for nearly 4 years and we could not be happier with the care he receives. Dad is really well looked after by all the carers who spend time to check on dads wellbeing on a regular basis. There are lots of events put on by the entertainment team which give
residents plenty of chance to join in. Any questions we have on behalf of dad are always answered in a professional manner.

Such a wonderful place to be. The home is always full of warmth and cheer. The staff are so friendly, supportive, welcoming, caring and compassionate.
Everyone is treated as an individual first and foremost. They provide support not only to the residents but also colleges, families and friends.
They
go above and beyond to ensure that everyone is treated in a person centred manner. Seeing beyond a persons medical, physical challenges to ensure that everyone is treated with the upmost respect.
Having been a family member of a former resident I have returned to support others as it is such a friendly, welcoming, supportive and place to be.
From the activities team who are always looking for ways to enrich residents daily lives by trips to garden centres, visits from singers, local school children visiting, baking sessions, quizzes, arts and crafts to just spending time listing to residents talk about their memories nothing is too much.

As a fairly regular visitor to Brook House, I never fail to be amazed by the constant love, care, compassion and imagination to keep the residents entertained and happy.
The cleanliness is of a very high standard and despite the feeling that they can seem understaffed, they all do their best to attend
to all the residents needs.
There never seems to be a dull moment. It's
obvious that the staff are well aware of the importance of keeping everyone stimulated, which is not easy.
All I can say is keep up the good work everyone.

We as a family feel that staff at Saintbridge residential home diligently cared for our father as well as all other residents with love, dignity, compassion, and patience. As much as daily visits from family and friends, staff's dedication contributed very positively to his quality of life. Staff's

Mum has been a resident at Brook House for nearly three years now and I cannot fault the care she has received. The staff are all wonderful - kind, caring and compassionate - and the home is exceptionally well-led. I am kept informed of any concerns with Mum's health and welfare (which have been very
few in the time she has been there) and appropriate steps have always been taken by the staff to address these.
Brook House runs great enrichment activities for the residents and although Mum's dementia has progressed she is still encouraged to participate where she can which is lovely to see.
Her room at Brook House is warm and comfortable as are the residents' lounges; the home cooked food is tasty and nourishing. When a parent has dementia and needs full time residential care it is so reassuring to know they are well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brook House to anyone considering residential care for a loved one - five stars across the board from me.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care at Brook House. They operate with the highest of standards whilst maintaining a genuine family atmosphere. The attention to detail for individual needs is second to none. They are not only superb with day to day care; cleanliness, excellent home cooked meals,
activities etc but they pull out all the stops when ill health strikes. My father suffered a stroke, which was detected early by the attentive carers, which gave him the best chance for a good recovery. The after care he received vastly improved his recovery. As his dementia progressed, his care was adapted to meet his needs, whilst still being super supportive, kind, encouraging and respecting his dignity. Brook House is led by an amazing leadership team and their genuine care spreads throughout the home. When visiting, it is like seeing friends, from the housekeeping side to the carers and office. I have always felt I can ask for advice on any matter. 10/10 from me

My brother has been a permanent resident of saintbridge house since August 2023, during which time he has been treated with great kindness and consideration. It is not easy caring for someone with dementia and they have shown great patience. The staff have always involved me in any changes they wish

I can not recommend Brook House enough. The staff are wonderful and I never had to worry that my mum would be cared for with anything other than dignity and kindness. Several different relatives went to visit her and they always made a point to contact me afterwards to comment on how well looked after
and happy she was there.
She sadly passed in November ('25) after a long battle with Alzheimer's but I so pleased she saw out her life in such a lovely environment. They organised for her to have her hair done every week and for a chiropodist. They took her to the garden centre for afternoon tea and on various outings and bought a lovely card and chocolates for her birthday. Whenever I visited the room and other areas were always clean and the food looked and smelt delicious.
As a relative of a resident, choosing the best place for your loved one feels daunting. I wish I could have cared for her myself but I feel confident that Brook House was the next best thing. Thank you to you all!

I would like to Thank all the staff at the Willows for all the care they gave my mum.
My mum was always dressed well, clean and most importantly happy. The staff are always smiling and took time to speak to me and my family no matter how busy they were.
We never walked out at the end of a visit feeling
any worry or guilt because we knew my mum was being looked after above and beyond.
One of the big things I would like to highlight is communication, the home are brilliant with raising any concerns straight away and they always got to a solution quickly and efficiently. Also, whenever you ring the home the phone is always answered.
The daily activity's my mum loved and the home recently even took my mum to Loughborough fair which she loved.
The food is incredible and freshly made daily, nobody would ever go hungry that's for sure.
If you're looking for a place to put a loved one, I would highly recommend the Willows.
Thank you again.
