Some improvement in the meals, quite bland and not enough green vegetables otherwise was a beneficial stay.

All staff are friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to be around. Mum loves it. Lots of activities to do. Lovely comfortable, friendly care home. Thank you from the whole family. A pleasure to visit.

The feature that makes Silverways special is the staff that work there. Everyone is friendly, courteous and go above and beyond for your loved one. My father in law was so well cared for that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Silverways. They go out for day trips, offer activities such as crafts and quizzes and make everyone feel welcome and included.

During her stay she was supported to mobilise safely, the group activities offered supported her core strength and coordination whilst having fun and socialising which was great to see. Medical needs were dealt with immediately and relayed to family. The residents we met appeared to be settled and content which gave us reassurance. Mum is happy to return for respite care again in the future.

Difficult to ask for better care.

Excellent care home. All the staff made Silverways a safe, warm and caring environment for my father. It is not the most modern / plush home but this is not what counts - it is the staff, entertainment, food and the overall welcoming feeling of the home. We were delighted my father lived at Silverways - he was really comfortable and happy. I cannot recommend it highly enough

We were so glad we chose Silverways for my brother's end-of-life care and so was he. He loved his room and the attention and care from the staff, nothing was ever too much trouble. The establishment has had a wonderful refurbishment and the facilities could not be better. The focus is on care rather than profit and that makes a huge difference.

I was so impressed at the care and service on Christmas Day. All the staff said hello and we so appreciated the warmth that surrounded us. Thank you, the meal was lovely.

My first visit was to see my Aunt who is a resident. I took my Dad as he is also in a home (which is the best in our area and has the highest recommendations). My first impression was how organised, efficient, friendly, and fond the entire establishment was. My Dad after 3 subserve visits has relocated here and loved it (I'm delighted to be able to say!). Much more space and room than his previous home and cheaper too. Highly recommend.

My mother has been in this home since last April and I am so, so pleased we moved her from her previous home. The staff here are so polite, very helpful and very understanding. I can not ask for any better care for her.

Her room is good and the only reason we scored satisfactory is it is one of the smaller rooms. However, she has been provided with an 'air mattress' and it is very clean.

Mum has not been in the home long but the family are very happy with the level of care shown by everyone.

It has been so comforting that my Grandad is being cared for by such lovely staff. He feels at home and I've noticed such a positive change in him since he's arrived at Silverways. The staff regularly run activities and the menu is always to his liking so makes his day easier. Thank you for all your support.

My dad has been very well looked after and treated with care, kindness and dignity. The staff are very patient with him and encourage him to join in activities. Dad loves the food at Silverways, and nothing is too much trouble. His room is comfortable with a nice outlook, and the home is very clean. The gardens are well-maintained, and the residents can sit outside. All of Dad's needs have been well managed, and I am extremely grateful to all of the staff.
