Generally caring and friendly staff. Good meals and plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the day. Extra activities are arranged which is great for those who want to socialise. Plenty of opportunities to visit outside meal times.

My Dad has really settled in here. He is well looked after + always clean + tidy.

Had money stolen £60 from room.

Excellent care all around. Philip also speaks very highly of the care he has received. We also saw the food has been excellent.

There is so much going on at The Dell to stimulate residents.

My mother in law went into Fieldhouse care home at the end of may / beginning of June, she was previously in a care home in Middleton , since she has been in Fieldhouse she's a completely different person she is happy , clean and settled. All the care staff and the manager are absolutely fantastic and go above and beyond , they are so person centred and they join in activities with the residents it makes us so happy to see how happy and content she is. All the staff are angels and deserve every bit of praise they do a fantastic job well done Fieldhouse care home absolutely fantastic .

What a lovely nursing home, my mum was in for 3 years before passing away in June, the staff are so nice, nothing is too much trouble. Any small problems were soon resolved, the staff loved my mum, she wanted to adopt them! The food is very nice and the kitchen staff work very hard. Management are very nice, you can always go in for a chat, the staff were so nice when mum passed away, i will always be grateful to them. Can definetly recommend Ashbourne

All of the Staff have been Superb with my Mother Since day one. They have always treated her with dignity and kindness Taking excellent Care of her health and well being. Mum loved the food especially the milk shakes. They always tried to keep her in a happy frame of mind.

Overall, our experience left us with little confidence in the quality of care provided. I would encourage anyone considering to put a relative here to visit regularly to make their own opinion.

My mother's life has been transformed since being welcomed into the Dell family. The care from the staff & management is first class. The staff are always polite & professional. They are always friendly & caring with the residents. Regular events are organised to help entertain & stimulate their experience.

My mother was admitted to Ashbourne in July 2023. She wanted to go back to her flat at first, but soon settled in after a few weeks! She was as one carer put it, 'the life and soul of Ashbourne'. Sadly, after one or two breaks of bones, bruises and falls, she was confined to bed and never got up again. She passed away 20th June 2026 with a lovely carer holding her hand as we didn't make it in time to do so!

I would recommend this home to everyone.

The dell nursing home I am son of resident I am so happy with the way my dad is treated and the staff and management are amazing the nursing home is the best in Gorton I would recommend it to anyone that is going to reside and live in the dell nursing house you could not get a better nursing home than this the staff interact with the residences if you have a problem you can go to a member of staff and they will help you and will not ignore you and they will work with you I just want to say about the entertainment organizer she is the best

She is relatively happy with the experience here, the only problem is a lady nearby always shouting for assistance instead of using buzzer and sometimes there is nothing that the staff can do for her.

Overall, we have had a great experience with Acorns care home, my nan was treated really well even with her challenging behaviour. Staff always tried their best with her and was always really welcoming to her family.

My mum has dementia, and has been looked after by all the staff very well, she enjoys all the meals they serve. She has been here 9 months now and she had a lovely big room, it is cleaner every day. If she has any ailments they call the doctor straight away. The home itself is generally clean and tidy and smells lovely. Both Corinne the manager and Gulnaz the assistant manager run the home very well.

My wife has been a resident in Fieldhouse since October 2025; she suffers from dementia. On arrival, she was treated with utmost care and given a lovely room, then moved to the ground floor as it was more suitable. The care from the staff and the management has been exemplary. The staff go over and above to ensure all the residents are treated and looked after to a high standard. They provide activities sometimes out of their own pockets, take residents out to the local supermarket and make life happier for all. Overall, I would describe Fieldhouse as a happy place for the residents, and my thanks to all the staff; nothing is too much trouble.
