Soon after settling dad into Nightingale Hall he had a medical issue. unfortunately I was unable to get there but staff were amazing at keeping him safe and me informed at every step of the way in what was a stressful situation. One of the staff even stayed 4 1/2 hours after her shift ended to ensure
continuity of care and support for dad and us. Sadly he had to go into hospital but staff again were supportive of myself, mum and dad both during the incident and afterwards as a local paramedic I cannot recommend this care home highly enough.

Mum went into care after a stay in hospital a year ago. It's not something she would have wanted, but from arriving the staff have been amazing with her. On the whole the home is kept very clean and the food is plentiful. When we visit we are always offered a drink & biscuits and encouraged to participate
in any activities/entertainment that's going on. What I do find very helpful is the fact we are always updated about everything ongoing with mum & illness if it occurs in the home. Very impressed with the whole package from the carers, entertainment and management.

I am very happy with the superb care Avril receives. She always looks well dressed and clean. Her room and ensuite bathroom are always tidy and clean too. The variety of activities are first class, as is the variety of food. The staff- every one- are always helpful to me with any queries and concerns,
they are also smartly attired to carry out their duties.

My uncle has now been a resident at Nightingale Hall Care Home for almost three months. Initially, he intended to transition to a supported living arrangement, but his experience at Nightingale has led him to change his mind and embrace a long-term stay. The care he has received is nothing short of
fantastic, and he often expresses his gratitude for the genuine kindness and respect shown by the staff. My uncle thrives on company, and he is never short of it here. Despite the staff's busy schedules, they always make a point to stop by his room for a friendly chat or to simply check in on him. This personal touch has made a significant difference in his daily life. The staff have worked diligently to integrate him with other residents, encouraging him to join them for meals in the dining room which he now does happily. Their attentiveness and professionalism shine through, as they ensure that every resident feels safe, comfortable, and valued.

Mum is very happy at Rosevale. She has been a resident for 3 years and has always enjoyed the care and attention given her. There are plenty of activities and things to do. As mum has progressed on her dementia journey the staff have supported mum with dignity and care. Rosevale has a lovely atmosphere.

My experience of Nightingale Care Home is entirely positive. My father was extremely well looked after both from the point of view of his health but also his personal well being. The team were thoughtful, attentive and supportive, not only to my dad but also to me at what was a stressful time. All of
the arrangements from initial viewing to nurses/ GP appointments etc were handled promptly and clearly. The team went out of their way to keep me informed of every aspect of dad's stay at the care home and I really can't rate them highly enough - they had unlimited patience and nothing was too much trouble for them. The thing I was most happy about was that they treated Dad as an individual and went out of their way to find out about his life so that they could chat to him about things that were important to him - he really couldn't have been happier and this was a man who was extremely independent and intent on staying so. Finally it may be a small thing but the food was fantastic!

My husband was in Nightingale Hall for nearly two yesrs and bedridden for ten months. During that time he was looked after very well. The carers were very kind to him and jolly and encouraged him to join in with any entertainment they held
When he was bedridden it was difficult for him he was blind
and deaf and needed full attention to care for him. The carers did their job's efficiently and were bright and cheerful for him. Towards the end they were very caring and did everything they could to make him comfortable. I would certainly recommend nightingale hall

93 year old mother had a brief respite care stay after a spell in hospital. She was confused and frail. Rosevale care team immediately helped mum to settle in, made her feel welcome and reassured her. Even though this was a short stay mum received first class care delivered to meet her personal needs.
The Rosevale team provided helpful and knowledgeable advice and support to me in arranging the stay and during mums time there. We would use Rosevale again if the need arises.

After a terrible Crisis admission into a facility in Darlington and a 5 week hospital stay I was very reluctant to place my lovely Dad into a care facility.
Nightingale Hall was recommended to me and it's fair to say from my first appointment for placement I felt reassured that this was a well organised
fantastic home where you feel a member of the NH family.
The manager and staff from the top to the bottom are caring compassionate and very kind.
The care my Dad receives is first class and is very dignified even though at times he can be difficult.
The accommodation is beautiful well kept and very clean.
The dinning room is bright and airy and provides lovely food and another nice touch they have bags of crisps etc in the lounge that the residents can help themselves.
I will be forever grateful to the amazing NH staff.

My mum has lived in Grimston Court for almost a year now. At first she was not happy due to the circumstances of her going there. She is now settled and as a family we could not be happier. The staff are extremely caring and professional we know she is very well looked after. If we have questions there
is always someone on hand to go to or if we need information via email we get a prompt reply. The home is always kept clean and even though the residents are in varied degrees if health and physical ability there are never any smells that are associated with lack of care.
Mums health has deteriorated in the time she has been there but the staff have adapted to accommodate all her needs.
I find the fact that activities and outings are put on the social media page very helpful, so if I'm not able to visit I can still see up to date information.
All in all everything is very good.
