for the first time I felt how happy the team were to work there and how happy the residents were too.
The interaction the staff have with residents is second to none. Everyone had a can do attitude and that comes from Sarah. Don't expect to see a Manager sat in an office, Sarah is on the floor getting involved. What an inspirational leader she is.

Having been in hospital my father in law needed 24 hr care so I requested him to be moved to Holywell House for a two to three week rest care period to enable him to regain his strength, The staff at the home have be very patient and caring. As my mother is already at the home i new that the cleanliness and care is fantastic

to be helpful and friendly. The care she was shown was lovely to see. In her final days the kindness and empathy shown to mum and our whole family was amazing. I would happily recommend this care home.

I have recommended the care home to others, we are kept informed of any changes etc and have regular review meetings and we as a family feel very reassured our mother is as happy as she can be given her age & Dementia.

The meals are varied throughout the weeks and she is well fed. They also receive tea and snacks, quite often ice-cream (her favourite.)
The bedrooms are large, ensuite with a shower, excellent for personal care. Comfortable beds and nice decor. Always clean and tidy. Her washing is all done for her.
The home have frequent activities including exercise classes and live singers.
Her family are always kept informed of any changes in her medication or care. The staff are very approachable if ever there are any concerns to discuss.
I would recommend this home in a heart best. It is so warm, inviting and homely.

My family all agree that we made the right choice of carehome after visiting 7 prior to dad's admission We all feel a very hard and difficult decision was made much easier by our choice
We particularly like the consistency of staff within the home making life easier for Dad living with dementia
A shout out to the 2 activities coordinators for giving their all in a very difficult role
Finally to the cleaners and cooks keep on doing what your doing you are all an asset to the home
Well done to the home manager your standards are excellent

Staff always keep me up to date regarding any issues she may have.
The home is very clean and well maintained and I would definitely recommend it.

She is out and about with staff at least twice a week . The accomodation is clean and on first class condition with all the facilities she can need . E g coffee shop wee pub hair dresser podiatrist nail make up fantastic
4 Meals a day and never seen a bad one

The communication is good and it's consistent with regular staff who are invested in the care of the residents some of whom have no other supporting family and friends apart from the staff who care for them.
The room is nice and well-kept and maintained and they run good social events and outings. My only critique is around the washing system as socks and underpants just seem to disappear and not return and it's not easy to label these items. The staff make the place what it is and I do hope the owners of the company invest in them and reward them for going that extra mile.

however not until sometime after mum moved into Cramlington House did we realise that it is so much more than this. It is the love and care that the staff show to the residents, in our case not just our mum but also our dad who visits mum several times in the week, that makes it what it is to us; truly a home for our mum and an extension to our family.
We both know that this does not happen by accident but by hard work. The management and senior staff really know their stuff and have always been extremely supportive, especially when we have had to navigate some difficult times with our mum. We can not recommend Cramlington House more highly - well done to you all.

Sadly, as we all know the condition, he had eventually took its toll and he died peacefully in his sleep. I and my Mam were there before he passed and the hours prior, I saw staff come and say their goodbyes which was really touching and witnessed some special caring and compassionate work by all, you made sure my dad was comfortable and settled in his last hours and looked after me and my Mam exceptionally well. I cannot thank you enough from myself my Mam and the rest of the family for making my dad's last days something I will always treasure and be grateful for thank you.
