Overall Experience

My uncle is currently a resident here after 15months of hospital, his mental wellbeing seems to have rocketed, always happy and says how wonderful the staff are there, all very compassionate and acknowledge his needs and help him anytime he needs, I have been there a few times to take him out and set

up his phone, staff are always friendly and greet you with a great smile and offer a great cup of tea! His personal care worker is great as well.
Overall a great care home the other residents all seem happy and content not a bad thing to say only good, allahumma barik. Nice to see people there actually to improve people's standard of life and not just for a paycheck!

My dad came to the Abbey house care home in March 2025. He was stressed and confused as he'd lost his wife and suffered from vascular dementia. Just in a few short weeks there has been an amazing change. He's in a routine. He's eating, washing and interacting with other clientele at the home. He's under

good management and his temper is controlled. We are as a family, so relieved to have him there and he's in the best of care 10/10

Overall Experience

My experience with Bavani Care Home has been outstanding from the moment of first contact. The decision to place my nan in a care home was very difficult for my family but even from the initial meeting, we were put at ease. All of the staff are lovely and really take care of my nan like she is one of

the family, a welcome difference from what I have experienced visiting and speaking to other homes. The home itself is clean, homely and all the residents look well-kept and happy. The manager is really lovely and is always on hand to answer our millions of questions without any bother and has really helped put us at ease in the whole process with heaps of information and knowledge as well as comforting words. My nan has settled well and is enjoying her new home thanks to the great team at Bavani.

I would give this home six stars if I could, they have treated my father with care, kindness and compassion, I could not ask for more.
My father is so happy now, being with people and carers who put his needs first, who are attentive and patient.
Every time I visit my father, he's always laughing,

this was not happening before a noticeable difference experience by all close family members.

Overall Experience

Mum has been under the care or Bavani Care Home for about a month now and we are very pleased.
The care and attention appears to be high.
The manager appears to be on top of everything and has even secured an NHS profile bed for Mum as she is frail and weak at the moment.
There is open communication

between the family and Bavani with a messaging service also available.
We recommend this establishment.

Overall Experience

The home is well-managed, and the manager is very kind and friendly. Some of the carers speak very little English which can sometimes be a problem. The home is a bit old and can be a bit updated. The food is always a critical issue. Fresh cooked food is always preferable, so having a cook may be a good

idea though the taste in food varies a lot. Some are fussy and will eat only very good food, others don’t mind.
I liked the dining room but not the sitting room with the TV which is small and annoying. Would be good to think of some activities that residents can do together - like exercises, playing games together like chess, cards, backgammon, etc. More activities that engage the residents' brains and encourage communication with each other will be recommendable, not just sitting in front of the TV like zombies. But in general, the home is trying to provide good care and comfort. Thank you!

I have been a regular visitor of the home over a few years, first as a friend of a resident, and more recently doing bible study and prayer with some of the residents.
I have always been impressed by the compassion and care of the staff to the residents. Also, the atmosphere of the home is peaceful.

I could not have wished for a better place for my great aunt, who has experienced signs of dementia in recent years. I am extremely impressed by the staff who have been so welcoming on my visits and supportive of my requests for a few extra things that will make my aunt's life more comfortable and less

lonesome when short-term memory appears suddenly. It is hard on the residents, hard on loved ones to watch dementia, and hard on the staff who look after them, who never lose their smile doing their job. Thank you.
